Hi guys
There is a way to run the phoenix OS within Windows? i tried to replace the system, data, kernel of the Remix Os player but cannot boot it
Maybe uses some kind of virtualization software like hyper-v or virtualbox. U can run phoenix os in virtualbox. U can google for some tutorials to install in virtualbox.
Why run Phoenix OS inside Windows?
Maybe your PC is powerful enough but it's better to dualboot Phoenix OS with Windows.
Make sure to backup phoenixldr file before upgrading to a newer version of Windows 10.

OK, i'm hearing all the time about different ROM's being put on phones like cyanogenmod and many others. even some people dual booting. is it possible to dual boot with ubuntu and an android ROM? if you're wondering i have the HP touchsmart (has a touchscreen) would it be possible to boot into android. i've done alot of research but can't find anyone that has done it or has a guide. would it be possible to load it into my grub or are the files entirely different. i've seen people put ubuntu on phones why not android on my laptop. (oh and not the SDK...its too slow to be seriously used and then i'm still using it as more of a virtual machine than an OS)
google search Chromium OS , Beta build , lolz , looks like android
Chromium OS is not android in the slightest!
If you want to play with Android on your PC, there are two ways you can run it:
A) Install the emulator - this is pretty slow, but gives you a phone-in-a-box you can play with
http://www.androidguys.com/2010/12/15/android-emulator/
B) Use Android x86 - a port of Android that runs on PCs
http://www.android-x86.org/
(Grab the generic iso from here: http://android-x86.moonman.dk/old/)
Now either burn that to a cd, and boot from that, create a bootable usb stick with http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/ or install it in a VM like VirtualBox
i have a problem
i had windows 8.1 64-bit in my pc then after that i installed windows 8 32-bit in different partition after that when i reboot my pc i didn't get the dual boot option to choose between windows 8 and 8.1..my system automatically loads windows 8....
Sounds like you didn't do the installation safely with regard to the old OS. The 64-bit one may have been using a 64-bit bootloader? In any case, you may have clobbered the boot partition of the old installation. You can try using bcdedit to add a boot entry for the old OS - it might still work - but you may need top use 64-bit Win8.1 recovery media instead (and doing so you risk clobbering the boot partition for the 32-bit install).
... Do I dare ask why somebody would *do* this? I mean, I could understand if you were installing Win7 or something, and even vaguely understand why you'd install 32-bit instead of 64-bit (though these days I pretty much exclusively use virtual machines for 32-bit systems) but why in the world install 32-bit Win8 on a 64-bit Win8.1 machine??
Hi everyone!
I'm constantly searching for working way to install virtualbox guest addition to PhoenixOS as guest os.
The main thing I want to achieve is 3d acceleration, so I be able to run games or apps with 3d content.
Also I have problems with updating Google Play Services on it...
I'm using Phoenix OS 2.6.3.404 on VirtualBox 5.1.34

Sorry, I can't help you with this problem, but I advise you to dualboot Phoenix OS with Windows.
About the Play Services updating, the Phoenix OS toolbox is a solution to install a newer Gapps.

The problem is I'm on Linux Debian/Ubuntu, that's why I working with VirtualBox. When I had windows, I just used Nox an Memu (Emulators) to play games, but on linux I can't find any emulator with 3d acceleration and gps support. I don't want to mess up with my partition table, and reserve space which I possibly not use. This is big advantage of virtual machines - they can create dynamically expanding hard drive images.

Although I'm not a Linux user, but I used to install Zorin OS before and failed, but I use Live USB at the moment, so I think you have to use Wine.
First, install Phoenix OS through the Exe installer to the C Drive.
Second, you'll find where Phoenix OS installed at /home/username/.wine/drive_c/PhoenixOS.
There's also a folder that contains grub.cfg, I don't remember where it is, you can copy Phoenix OS entry to your own grub.cfg.
I didn't try but that came up to my mind randomly.
If you're an average Linux user you'll understand.
So I currently have Win10 and Ubuntu installed each on a separate partition. I installed Phoenix OS through windows and it didn't add up on grub. I have to select Win10 through grub and then when Win10 boots up I have to start Phoenix OS through shortcut which reboots my system to Phoenix OS. What I want is to install Phoenix OS on Ubuntu's partition and add it to grub menu. Anyone kind enough to help me with this? Note that made a bootable Phoenix OS USB but it didn't work (didn't work as it doesn't boot at all, doesn't even detect it).

Triple boot Phoenix, Linux Mint, and Windows 10
I have a Windows 10 laptop. I was able to create a partition and install Linux Mint into it after Windows was already installed on it. I guess I was a little surprised because I had thought in the past that you needed to install Linux before Windows guess I was wrong.
So I'm wondering if I can now install an Android OS either Phoenix or prime and when it installs and creates a new bootloader assuming it does will it take care of the other operating systems or will this completely screw my laptop?
