So randomly my Moto G5 Plus doesn't wanna install or uninstall apps, and has been randomly turning off, and to turn it back on I have to hold the power button for like 30 seconds.
I've already tried going into recovery and clearing cache.
Any ideas what could be the problem?
This is stock and bootloader is still locked. Never been rooted or anything.
Factory reset, if that fails then have phone exchanged under warranty.

I used this method. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476&page=85
I've tried this twice. I think i wiped too much from twrp when i wanted to wipe my phone to install a rom. I was stuck in lg logo screen and used this method. when the phone boots up, my previous rom and settings are intact except i see process "com.android.phone has stopped" followed by bunch of more proccesses that have stopped and it just keep rebooting after i click ok few times on those error messages.
I've used this before and it always installed fresh image. not sure why or how its managed to install my old rom back minus the android processes. I cant do the factory reset from settings either inbetween error messages because the phone reboots too fast.
do you know any other way to factory reset? My phone pretty much loops as soon as the android process has stopped error messages run for about 20 seconds in home screen.
found a solution.
press and hold volume down + power then at LG logo let go of both and press and hold again. at wipe data screen, press power twice and it will boot TWRP/CWM recovery. provided u have it installed
Help, I cannot get into recovery mode anymore. My phone says rebooting into recovery, then you can see the android with writing under that I believe says updating system something... but it disappears so fast it's hard to see. Every couple seconds it appears for a split second and goes away until I pull the battery. I am rooted and the reason I would like to factory reset is because I downloaded cracked google play store, then when trying to revert to the original google play throws an error on my screen every couple seconds unless I turn it off in the application menu.. I googled this and tried EVERYTHING but to no avail so I would like to factory reset but can't. The cracked google play will not even work now I soft reset my phone from the settings and thought I bricked it because I could only boot into recovery and that wasn't booting.. until I pulled the battery and did volume down, home, power, and re-rooted. I'd like to get play store working but I figure I'll want to factory reset eventually when I want to sell the phone.
Im so lost with this, im all stock but one day my phone just freezes then bootloop, I would be able to get it work by just leaving it and let it drain itself since it will be boot looping and lock me out completely, like the power button + low volume button would not work even after 10 minutes of holding it, would not boot to download or recovery mode, just the soft touch keys light on and the blue LED.
I reflashed my ROM from sammobile yesterday but did it half-effort, just dirty flashed it but it seemed to reformatted my phone anyway, after reflashing it, everything seemed to work properly for 20 hours and then now im back to this piece of ********* boot looping...
S7 Edge
running the Australia unbranded XSA-G935FXXS1DQG4 from the branded G935FXXS1DQG5,
would flashing de-branded affect this? or this is hardware?, one thing I did that I think was a mistake is that I chose to restore from old device, can apps cause this?
the very first time this happened, I plugged it in to charge then crash and bootloop.
UPDATE:
Things I've tried,
-Booting with NO sim card and SD Card
-Wiping cache and partition then reflashing stock XSA and OPS firmwares
im convinced that this is a hardware issue and will go to Samsung.
mine does this too. crashes then gets into a bootloop at the Samsung logo. I usually try holding the lock and volume down button. I factory reset the phone once but it still keeps happening, this started happening around 4 weeks ago
Guys your Main/Mother-boards are broken.. u need to replace it, or send back to Samsung..
Damn! Crash reboot samsung logo
Damn you say broken mother board...
did this. Press vol down, power button and home key...hmmm... i think...pressed so many combos hard to tell themapart
Hello Community!
Hoping you'll be able to help me with this: recently my S7 Edge has been fairly unstable, crashing and restarting itself. Sometimes the reboot would fail, and it would loop restart until successfully launching. Today, however, it has seemingly crashed but the phone has done nothing since - it has not attempted to reboot, and power + vol down, and power + home + vol up aren't doing anything. The screen is black, and there are no LEDs showing. I tried plugging it into a charger, but that didn't give any LEDs either.
How can i get my phone on again? Thanks!
stock or custom? odin or just pc dont recognise it?
wifes phone just had same issue. stock updated to latest September update that rogers pushed down today it rebooted on its own a bunch of times and now wont turn on....like nothing.
i was getting the failed to find /misc a bunch then i tired clearing cache but still had issues
now i was going to try to do a factory reset but it wont boot.
Hello, since 1 year my X Play (XT1563 to be specific) suddenly rebooted and the screen don't turned on again, apparently the phone is in some kind of bootloop because when I try to turn it on the phone vibrates repeatedly with 15-30 seconds between vibrations until the battery is completely depleted.
The bootloader was never unlocked and the phone was used all time with the stock ROM, and it was updated without problems to the official 7.1.1 ROM via OTA.
I entered without problems in fastboot but the screen don't turn on even in this mode, I reflashed the stock 7.1.1 with mfastboot and with RSD Lite but the phone is still in the same state, any ideas to fix it?
Thanks in advance!
