Question: Is it possible to decrease the camera flash?

Hi Guys,
With the torch app you can increase the light power ? (high voltage?) is it possible to decrease it too?
I take pictures and the flash is far too powerful and would like a setting or percentage to decrease it?
If its possible per-se I'll look into the code and have a play?
Cheers, Sarkie

Hmm, the flash is never too powerful. What you want is to decrease your camera expose time or the iso-sensitivity.
In stock camera app, you have the settings button, choose exposure -1 or -2. You'll get what you hope for.
Today, for the first time, I've noticed that the N1 is adjusting the flash intensity. It seems to have 3 or 4 different levels, and while taking a photo, at the time of the auto focus, the led comes on at various intensities, and the best one is chosen.
I have never noticed it before (but I don't take many pictures.
Maybe it's a 2.2.1 feature. I am not sure.

Dual camera option disabled

I noticed on my phone dual camera option is disabled. I cant use both cameras at same time.
I use auto mode with no effects.
Is there any setting for this to be enabled?

Make sure your video shooting mode is in "normal" and not in fast mode, smooth mode, slow mode or mms recording mode.

s5 screen modes

Which screen mode do you use and why? Also if anyone knows which screen mode reduces the risk of screen burn and which mode saves the most battery life.
I use professional photo mode because it looks accurate on color and not too washed out like cinema mode

I just use Adapt Display, as well as automatic brightness. Never had any screen burn issues with any phone.

Manual mode noisy. Should i return phone?

Hi All. I got a g6 last month, sent it back and got another one because it had a dust specle inside the lense glass.
Now in the new one I noticed something weird with manual mode in the camera thought you guys could help.
In low light I took 2 photos once in auto mode and once in manual mode.
Both with same iso, whitbalance auto, same shutter speeds. The image in manual mode comes out noisy and the one from auto is not much noisy. This happened all the times in tried with different subjects.
Is this how your phone works too? Or should i return this as well? Pls see attached images. I will really appreciate your comments. Thanks in advance.
sorry. bumping if anyone has any comments?
In manual mode: did you enable "noise reduction" in settings?
Manual mode itself is very noisy on my phone too. Noise reduction is always a software thing, that's why Pixel phones take such great pictures (because Google is good in software). Maybe try a port of the Google camera and compare the results for yourself.

Yes i eventually figured the noise reduction. But couldn't belive the noise when it's off.
Thanks for confirming its same in your phone too.
That is completely normal.
Lol, yeah. Totally normal. Manual mode outputs garbage, but it can be made absolutely glorious with software processing tools.
First image is simple raw -> jpg conversion with no processing.
Second image is raw -> jpg with simple photoshop raw filter processing

HDR mode on s10 plus

Well, i noticed that black shark 2 have the option to turn on and off its screen's HDR mode. Does s10 plus also have that option? Or HDR mode is on by default and not able to turn off?
Sorry because my English.
