try it out, I know camera jb+ in the playstore lets you and is almost identical to aosp camera.

Stock camera alternative for CM12?

Is there any camera app for CM12? like in touchwiz, i mean more advance than the CM camera app??!!

Google play is the place to try. Maybe google search for "the best camera".
There are lots of Top 10's about those kind of things.

Looking for an answer as well. What I'm really looking for is a camera app that can match the night mode of the touchwiz camera.

if i found great camera app, it will for sure missing the camcorder!!

Camera FV-5 And Cinema FV-5.
but it's a paid app. you know what to do already. (if you know what i mean)
but it has no front camera feature. so just use the normal aosp camera for front cam features.
that's what i'm using when i'm on AOSP Builds such as CM11,CM12,Carbon Rom etc.... :good:

Can anyone who's using GPE by Danvdh tell me how the OnePlus One camera app is compared to the Motorola and Google Camera? I always wondered and now I won't have to start a new thread

OnePlus Camera is the best among those two for me! but Motorola is also good!

Found a really promising camera alternative for low light photography. App is called "A better camera."
What I really missed though is the touch to focus feature from the TW Camera in night mode. So far, every app I've tried won't work with touch to focus in night mode.

yes i am but i dont understand digong hahahaha
touch to focus actually works on Camera FV 5. but focusing on that camera/app is only at the center

[Q] What is the best pure-Android ROM that have the best camera

Hello everybody,
I am looking for a custom-ROM that have the best Camera with touch-to-focus working.
Sorry if thiswas already asked, but I have tested few ROMs which seems to be fine, but none of them have a good camera functions, even third-party camera apps don't have that function... Or am I missing something here?
Also, can we have the Stock Camera App working on a custom-ROM (without Samsung Touchwiz)... or is it impossible (due to dependencies)?

EDIT: I mean Touch-To-Focus not the auto-focus that already works.

Autofocus? There are plenty of apps that have it, not to mention stock camera.
Camera can work on any rom.

Thanks for the reply, I have tried the Android-Stock camera App and it didn't have touch-to-focus.
Sorry, I meant touch-to-focus not the auto-focus that is already working in the Custom ROMs stock camera app.

The Stock samsung camera app does have touch to focus, I use it all the time

I know, I need Custom rom like CM based ( not samsung related) that has this feature..

Sony sensor cameras do fc on aosp roms

this thing make aosp roms useless for us

did you try 3rd party camera apps? open camera is as good as aosp camera app. but I heard that Google released the pixel camera for snapdragon phones which you cannot try it because you have international exynos version.

best camera app for custom ROM (Linage OS 18 (android 10))

I have recently flashed lineage OS 18 onto my phone and the video quality is disgusting, is there a way to get a original camera app onto it, but retain the custom ROM? If not could you tell me the best 3rd party camera app is the best for my needs?
I want to record 1080p 60fps video
i want it to take descent quality photos
I would like a 4k video option but this is not really that important!

Unfortunately, Samsung Stock ROM-based apps couldn't work on AOSP Roms.
