[Q] weird thing

anybody knows what's this?
everytime when updating or installing an app from playstore after finsh installing or updating an half bottom screen window appears with some apps adverts and at bottom 2 buttons for close or cancel.
is this some kind of virus or this is latest advertisment mode from google play?
i'm on note 3 9005 kk rooted stock

You're using Go SMS Pro, aren't you? It's a common complaint by Go SMS Pro users since its latest update, its Google Play reviews are full of it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jb.gosms&hl=en
Uninstalling Go SMS Pro will remove this ad-ware.

@ShadowLea thx man you're right that i have go sms pro, i've used this app by very long time and now they give me nasty adverts....i think to uninstall...

after many complaints, go sms dev team announced today that they removed intrusive adverts and send many apollogies to fans, so i've updated today to last version and everything is good

Not Receiving Notifications and Poor Screen Response

So after years of trying to convince my wife to make the switch from Apple, she did. She purchased an S6 Edge+ after I promised her they were a great phone.
Now I look an idiot. She doesn't receive push notifications on SMS< Whatsapp, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram etcera. Her screen is also laggy as hell, sometimes not registering swipe gesture.
She is running pure stock, not rooted and has Nova launcher installed.
Anyone had experience with this, or know how to fix the issue?

Try a factory reset and if that don't work you can install the latest firmware. If that dint work you can go to deal guarantee.

7.1.1 scrolling issue

I am on 7.1.1 beta build NMF26F. I am seeing some issues when scrolling within chrome, amazon app, google app. After searching for some results, when I try to scroll down the page, it automatically scrolls to the top of the page. No mater what I do, it doesn't go down the page. Only solution I found was to clear the app from recent tasks and open it again and start the search again. If lucky, it works else the same issue. Any one have any suggestions or tips? Did you guys see this issue? It has been happening since a month or so. Phone is not rooted or unlocked.

does this for me too. I'm in.cm14 though with franco kernel.
Been happening to me for several weeks also. No idea what's causing it

Actually there's an easy fix for that, paste this in chrome search bar and activate it
chrome://flags/#enable-scroll-anchoring

Tried that too but no luck. It's happening in other apps too. I was using chrome dev. Uninstalled that for now. So far no issues.

Try HEBF on play store

I just got a replacement brand new 6P because of the battery problems and the scrolling is perfectly smooth and fast on 7.1.1. With my old affected 6P it was poor and laggy. Not sure why or how this can be linked but that's the case.

No notifications and other problems with my Nubia Z17

Hello. I recently bought the Nubia Z17, really really happy with it. But there is issues with it which I have tried to solve but haven't suceeded.
The biggest issue:
I do not get notifications constantly, just sometimes. Snapchat, Messenger and Facebook pops up when they want to, but its very rare. Gmail never pops up, and never syncs in the background. I have tried to fix this by changing the settings in the NeoSafe app, but it doesnt want to work.
An annoying issue:
Also, a problem that happens when the phone gets cold. It feels like its pressing the left button by it self, the ''open app-drawer'' pops upp all the time and when i press it down it pops up again. I live in Sweden, and its currently only -5 outside, and China have that weather too, so why is it a problem?
An issue which I can't understand:
Also, I sometimes having trouble downloading apps from Play Store, I have tried to solve this and it is mostly solved by removing cache from the app, but same thing keeps happing after a while.
Anyone got any tips or solutions? I think I have the chinese rom with google services installed. Works great overall, fast, smooth and nice screen. I would like to avoid flash another rom into it or restore it.

i got the same problem on my z17s.... i have to let the app opened in multitask to have the notification, lucky i have 6gb of ram....i tried with neosafe and app settings but still the same...

if you have your phone rooted you can convert the apps (WhatsApp ...) as Systemapp. I did it with LuckyPatcher. With Titaniumbackup works that too. But I have had problems that the app was gone.

Here the same problem with my Z17s ... also tried to enable the apps in the "performance mode" in the power management, also no luck for some apps (although whatsapp works fine).

Hi, I also recently got my z17, I was very excited to finally have a "flagship" phone. I encounter the same problem. I have tried everything said here, but what I did kinda worked. So I did a factory reset. Once reset and log in in the google app 1st, and then the play store, I downloaded the apps, but before opening the apps for the 1st time I went directly into the permissions section in settings and allow just about everything, I did the power performance and the network performance, then I opened the apps and I went into the apps settings to allow notifications. Like I said, it kinda work. I don't get FB notifications as often, but I do get gmail.
I had thought that it was a restriction of background data, but apparently is not.
Now, I cannot sync my google calendar with my gmail account in the phone. When I download the app and I open it it has a [email protected] account...and that is not me, I cant change it or anything. Do you know how to fix it?

Check if you have Neo Safe or something named like that. It acts as a security manager for your device. Its also able to block notifications. I think I changed some settings there and then it started to work.

Beta02 disable Bubbles, enable FB Messenger Chat heads?

Hey guys
I've had the Android 11 Beta 01 and now the beta 02, and the new Bubbles function is driving me insane... It errors out often, sometimes even makes mt phone randomly reboot, making it basically unusable.
For my work, I actually chat a lot through fb messenger with my colleagues, while I am sometimes on websites, mails, etc. The good old Chat Heads were so very useful for me, yet the forceful new Bubbles thingie is quite the opposite.
Does anyone know of a way to go back to the Chat Heads?
I have tried downloading off google older versions of Fb Messenger, but it didnt make any difference...
I am NOT rooted, running as stock as it gets, with the exception of using Lawnchair launcher instead of OP Launcher because I am very much accustomed to it.
Please help

I don't have android 11 yet as I prefer stability however there has to be a notificationn setting against the app in settings / apps / notification.

Bubbles are not working properly on beta2 ...
For me also on messenger getting only heads up notifications ..
Even the old bubble notification on messenger is broken..

I'm on beta 2. surprisingly haven't faced issues with messenger.

I've disabled bubbles in general, but use them for FB Messenger. I'm having no issues.
EDIT: I'm using messenger beta, maybe they fxed something that's broken in the stable app.

You have to enable bubbles again - it's got it's own setting in Messenger. However, it is working fine for me on OB2
