[Q] Unlock and root 4.2

i am in all stock, locked and no rooted.
Is there any method to unlock and root the native android 4.2 without losing all my games and apps?

U can't. Unlocking your device will wipe all its data

i could make root and before unlock it, make a titanium backup

i noticed that the 4.2 no longer has the Developer Option available within the Settings Menu. how do i enable USB Debugging mode?

Go to 'Setting' / 'About Tablet'. Tap on 'Build number' and keep on tapping until it tells you that you're now a developer. Then go back to 'Settings' and the option is there. This is standard for v4.2

Back up your system with out CWM !

hello XDA ... I'm gonna to tell you how to back up your system with out a recovery or any thing
---Requirements---
FlashTool you can download it from here
---Steps---
first enable USB debuging
open the FlashTool (if your windows is 64-bit use FlashTool64 to work more smoothly)
click "help" --> "auto level" --> "debug"
Then click --> "Devices" --> "Import" --> and chose "C660X - sony xperia z"
Now a massge will be shown on your phone click "OK" .

After the Flashtool finishs go to my C:\Flashtool\custom\mydevices\YT910CGC1R and you will see your system apps , you are done :victory:

the point of this is that : 1- It will helps who want to make a Rom
2- and helps you if your phone's system break

Stop System Update Nag

I have manually update the firmware with root etc, but am still getting "New System Update Available" Nag. I have done a search but can't find out how to remove on the Tablet Z... any help would be great

I got this problem, I've just got zenfone 5 from my friend. and I unlock bootloader then I tried to flash a rom, when I flash boot.img in adb fastboot, this message showed up. I cannot flash a rom or reboot the system.
Can anyone help me with this?

Uable to open my moto G6 xt1925-13

Hi member. Please help me fix my moto G6 xt1925-13. It's struck in start (button on screen) after booting. I have tried everything possible way on my capabilities, from factory rest to stock rom installation, but there is not success. Can't go beyond it. I have attached picture as well. Please help me.

If bootloader is unlocked there are more options to try.
