i am in all stock, locked and no rooted.
Is there any method to unlock and root the native android 4.2 without losing all my games and apps?
U can't. Unlocking your device will wipe all its data

i could make root and before unlock it, make a titanium backup
i noticed that the 4.2 no longer has the Developer Option available within the Settings Menu. how do i enable USB Debugging mode?

Go to 'Setting' / 'About Tablet'. Tap on 'Build number' and keep on tapping until it tells you that you're now a developer. Then go back to 'Settings' and the option is there. This is standard for v4.2

Does anyone know where has SE hidden the image stabilization option for still photos?
I think it's always on. It'd be nice to have the option to turn it off if we wanted though...
When you choose normal mode (not automatic scene-- First option in camera settings), you will get option to turn off & on image stabilizor..

Thats right, by normal mode you can choose the scene and depending on what scene you choose you have more options/settings to choose from.

Oh, Thanks bro (Clicked Thanks also)! I didn't change from "Scene detection" as of now and that's the same option I was using in my X10 previously and the IS was available under that as well. Hence I was under the impression that SE removed that or my phone was missing that option!
I don't know what's happened or going on, but I jave no quick settings in the notification panel!
Even in the settings part on the panel, it's completely void of any toggles to select.
I've just set up the phone to how I like it, so I'd REALLY like to avoid a factory reset if possible (assuming that would fix it)
Any help would be appreciated.
Did you check the main settings to make sure they didn't get disabled?

That is all completely blank, and when you tap that red circled settings button, no icons show up in the screen that takes you to either.

How can you disable them?
I'm sure I didn't do that.
I had exactly the same problem after doing a factory reset. But another factory reset fixed it..
You'll lose your data, so back up first.

My c9000 update to 7.1.1.
Then I wipe data and cache.
I open "Developer options" and can't find "Enable OEM unlock".
I can find it in 6.0.1 before.
What's wrong?
