The Huawei MediaPad M5 has a crazy crisp display. Just kidding, this is automated text so who knows if this screen is any good. So, you be the judge! A higher rating indicates that it's extremely sharp and clear, and that you cannot see pixels with your naked eye.

go to display settings and in font size and display size set them to small and see how many things fit on your screen now
Well, buy a VR headset, you can view the pixels much more closely.
Before Nokia 8 I have the Nokia 5 and Lumia 650.
I realy miss the Lumia OLED screen , put not the 720p resolution.
Wen I put the Lumia 650 phone on the VR, you can clearly see the pixels, they were that big. But not in the case of the Nokia 8, the pixels density is much bigger.
Just try the VR experience

cross marks.
Has anybody seen checkerboard marks on the screen? Specially it's noticeable on mine in a white background.
Yup I got the checked board as well. Starting to get use it, but ruff when coming from AMOLED display.
I see it a little but hardly notice it.. If I hadn't seen it mentioned on here, I probably wouldn't have thought twice of it.
Screen looks perfect to me.

My mate 20 got yellowish screen (compared to my mate 9 and mate 10), the white color on mate 20 is not a pure white as it is on mate 9 and mate 10. I tried to adjust all settings under the display settings but got no luck, it's still yellowish. Anyone got this issue? Thanks!
Mine is perfectly clear, no yellowish.
G8 phone!

it is a bit yellowish .. to remedy that for now just choose vivid cool .. that should have been added to color saturation and accuracy i think

I have myopia with astigmatism for all my life. I don`t feel comfortable using small screens, like at all. My home pc monitor is 32"...
And this is the first time I have feel so comfortable using device with small screen to the level of using it for hours and hours without my eyes burning and hurting.
I actually started actively to limit how much time I spend using the phone because aside from being good screen is still small screen and could do bad to my eyes in the long run.
But man, the screen is really sharp. And the amoled black is really something else.
I like it very much!

I cannot notice any pixels, so the 720p-ness of the display is not a problem for me. I doubt that anyone except the most eagle-eyed would notice the difference between 720p, 1080p, 1440p and 4k.
For normal people like you and me, it is definitely good enough.
Note: I definitely notice some less clarity and less brightness near the hole punch (why, Motorola, why? A teardrop notch was good enough for me.)
You can get used to it given enough time, though.
