How to fix safetynet? I am on aicp rom
I had a similar issue on citrus. I couldn't install any module either. All i did was install magisk again, but through magisk manager. Select direct install, let it patch again, and reboot. If it doesn't work, then you can always try flashing the universal safetynet fix from twrp.

Updated to 7.1.1 Beta. Flashed twrp. I then flashed magisk and then phh. I get stuck in a boot lop. I tried twice but each time I keep getting stuck in a bootloop. Does anyone have a work around? I've looked around and seems like everyone is getting it to work but me and a few others? Any help?
Not sure why you want magisk if xposed isn't supported on 7.0+ ? Just use superSU instead.
Edit: There is a (no longer a) benefit in using Magisk/phh, since magisk hide and using xpropset magisk module is detected by SafetyNet already, but see post below for the latest approach (if any):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/help/help-pass-safetynet-rooted-7-0-aosp-t3486834
suhide is not compatible w/ 7.1.1, so SuperSU is not an option for the 6P on the 7.1.1 Developer Preview
Flash magisk and phh su, works fine, but supersu get bootloop, something like this
7.1.1 with supersu (stable or sr1) boots fine, the problem atm is suhide, flashing suhide causes bootloops
Way possible, but without suhide is not very convenient, banks apps not working properly
So the latest superuser by chain fire works? Cause flashing magisk v8 then phh su just sends me to a bootloop.
I'm using magisk and the latest phh su on 7.1.1 and no issues what so ever even have it passing safetynet
All I did was flash the factory image, then two, then flashed phh su, magisk and then rebooted and installed xsetprop through magisk.
how are you getting this working? I haven't tested, but doesn't the 7.1.1 need a custom kernel to bypass safetynet? Kernel source isn;t out yet?
I just rooted my Moto G5 Plus and I can't pass the SafetyNet checks. I've already tried flashing the so-called universal SafetyNet fix .zip file (https://goo.gl/M9UZHF) but no luck. Please help!
These are the associated root files that I used, if this helps:
MagiskManager-v5.4.0.apk
Magisk-v14.0.zip
no-verity-opt-encrypt-5.1.zip
twrp_3.1.1-0_potter.img
Try following steps, I got my phone passing SafetyNet in 2-3 attempts.
(1) Remove root access from all applications i.e. AdAway, ES File Explorer, then Un-install Magisk using Magisk Manager
(2) Download unSU zip file and flash it in twrp to completely remove Su
(3) Flash stock boot image (you can extract boot.img file from stock rom zip file)
(4) Install Magisk as usual, wipe cache and reboot system
(5) Open Magisk Manager. Use Magisk hide option and select Google Play Store and Google Services Framework
(6) Under Magisk Settings, tick on Magisk Hide and Systemless hosts options
(7) Reboot phone
Hope it helps.
What ROM are you on? Throughout various ROMs I have sometimes ran into failed SafetyNet checks from time to time. This is usually cleared up after flashing the ElementalX Kernel.
If you have Xposed installed you will not be able to pass safety net. But as long as you do not have Xposed installed the following should work.
I always pass by flashing in this order in recovery
newest magisk
alize kernel
safteynet universal bypass beta all flashed in recovery.
Unless you are on stock then alize won't work so you will need elemetalx

Hi, you can do it with MagiskHide & ElementalX kernel.

Yes. However, if you install the ElementalX kernel, you don't need at all the dm-verity (maintaining unecrypted data), and you pass SafetyNet with only MagiskHide.

Also give this a. Try
Sorry, I'm really new to rooting, I have no knowledge of custom kernels, custom ROMs, etc. (I don't even know what these terms mean). Can someone further explain the best way to fix this Magisk SafetyNet issue I'm having? Is there anyway to fix my issues without having to flash whatever a custom kernel/ROM is? Also, as I do a little bit of research, there are SO many different ROMs out there and I have no idea which one to pick.
Well, after I switched on and off some settings in Magisk, SafetyNet appears to be passing. Sorry - this doesn't make any sense, but at least (for now) it's working. Thanks all for help!
I'm currently running stock rom with Blu_spark kernel. I've been using magisk, lately updated to 14.3 version.
My problem is I can not pass SafetyNet check. Both ctsProfile and basicIntegrity are false.
I tried Universal SaftyNet Fix but it didn't help at all.
Is there any hope to pass it on stock rom?
Do you have Xposed installed?
Thanks, I completely forgot about it
The other safety net problem people are currently having with Magisk is that if you update Magisk within Magisk Manager some scripts needed to pass safety net are no longer installed by default. If you flash Magisk instead through TWRP it seems to install like normal and you don't need to perform additional steps to pass safety net.
When I try to install a module, it gives me a "data/magisk not setup properly" error. Please help.
I have tried reinstalling magisk and pressing on direct install again but it still doesn't work.

Is below that message, something asking you to update Magisk first?
If there isn't, well... Try to go Magisk Manager and check for updates, if there's any, just download and install them. Try again.
If there aren't, try to go XDA's Magisk thread, download Magisk uninstaller as well as flashable Magisk and Magisk Manager apk, both in their latest versions.
In case you've installed TWRP, Then reboot to Recovery and flash Magisk uninstaller... Just in case, flash TWRP again.
After that Reboot to Recovery once again and flash Magisk, then Reboot to System.
Then, in case you can't find Magisk Manager app, install it and update Magisk, this time from app itself.
Hi. I have a safety net issue after following the rooting tutorial on this post. (to be precise, safety net was fine, i got the issue when i tried to install edexposed)
I've got a "cts profile mismatch".
I tried to get rid of it, uninstall magisk, wipe system, but it's still there.
I would like to try to make a factory reset using an ota file, but i can't find my version of the system.
I was on SKYW1907110OS00MP3 and i updated to SKYW1911010OS00MP5. Does someone have a factory ota update.zip for one of this two version ?
There is the MagiskHide Props Config module ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-magiskhide-props-config-t3789228 ) for fixing this kind of issue, but there is no build-in fingerprint for the blackshark 2.
I tried to get one within an OTA file, but i can't find it.
I really don't know if i can do a << adb push stock_boot_b.img /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/boot_b >> to restore the unpatched version of my rom or if that will brick my phone (or maybe do nothing to solve my issue)
If anyone have an idea, it would be great. Thanks.
Flashing the stock boot image of the ROM currently installed in your device will not cause bootloop. Tried and tested.
To pass Safetynet, you don't need to flash MagiskHide Props Config module. It doesn't really make your device pass Safetynet at all.
To pass Safetynet with EdXposed, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you enable Magisk Hide in the Magisk app.
2. Rename your Magisk package (optional - for banking apps).
3. Flash the latest EdXposed module from this repo: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/ElderDrivers/edxposed/history (the EdXposed in the Magisk app is outdated, and it breaks Safetynet), and the latest EdXposed Manager here: https://github.com/ElderDrivers/EdXposedManager
4. Go to EdXposed Manager's settings and enable App List mode and Pass SafetyNet options, then reboot your device.
Now, the trickiest part (sort of):
5. Clear Google Services Framework, Google Play services, and Google Play Store's data, then check for Safetynet. Sometimes, it still fails after your first attempt so just repeat this step until it passes Safetynet.
That's all. All of these worked 100% on my CN-converted-to-Global Black Shark 2 device. Hope it will work on yours, too.
Woot, thanks a lot, i will try that right away.
