Hello to all. When i have numbers without name in call app and i click on the side to make a new entry of them the "call App" has stoped. Any solutions for that ?
Why not just use different contact and call apps? Like the Google ones? The LeEco ones suck, frankly.

Really? Do you not have access to the Play Store? Go to the Play Store and search for Google Contacts. Install it. Then search for Google Dialer. Install it. Look for the default apps section in Settings and change them to be your default apps. How much hand-holding do you need? Is this your first smartphone?

I don't think you can through the app you will have to log onto the internet and get to it.
You most certainly can.
Once one the main page, hit the menu soft key and then Search.
I'm running version 1.1.0.17, which is not the stock app, rather the one on Windows Marketplace. Most Popular. Do not recall if the stock app had this feature or not.
I just looked in the marketplace and they have a version 1.2
I'm pretty sure that when you install "1.2" you actually get 1.1.0.17.
I know voice actions is only available on android 2.2, is there anyway we can get the .Apk file for our 2.1
I want Voice Actions too. I've been pretty happy with Vlingo as a substitute though.

I already have voice search which is great. But I want voice actions, which is only available on 2.2
vlingo is good, but I'd rather use Google's stuff. Stupid X10 not upgrading to 2.2
And I did do a google search first and couldn't find an .apk for voice actions.
Anybody?!!!
I was going to use Vlingo but it only supports spanish on blackberrys.

What I do like about this one, is it follows through and does the action without having to click anything. Example... text, Heather, "Please call me". It actually sends the text message without opening messaging.

So. I loaded up the Nexsys 5, Google home, PrebuiltGmsCore and Velvet apks on the Hyper 1.1 Rom. All works fine, except, I don't get the "say Google" on the google search bar.
I tried the moving off English US to UK and back.. but that didn't help.
Also, one iteration of me playing around, it was there for a brief time and then gone when I reloaded... so I know its possible, just don't know enough about the way its setup to know what to look for.
Any help would be great!
TIA

No matter what Rom. Just wanted to know if its working at all.
Thanks

OK FIXED!!!!!!!!!
This is what I did...
Under Language and Input, > Google voice typing, >settings >Offline speech recognition.
Go to the all tab and make sure English (US) is the only option and re-download it.
Thanks for all the suggestions...

Have you disabled Google Search?
If so, try enabling it and see if the Voice thingy is back.

Hi Guys
Since I moved to Lollipop 5.0.1 on my n9005 I've had nothing but problems with "unfortunately, contacts has closed".
I've tried all the fixes clearing data and cache on -
Contacts
Contacts Storage
Dialler Storage
Goggle contact sync
Ive removed google+ and eventually re flashed my ROM but cant use my nandroid backup as the issue comes back with the backup.
So I was thinking of just using a third party dialler but I cant seem to import my contacts into any of these.
Does anyone know of an independent app that does not require the built in contacts app to maintain the contacts list ? (or if anyone can fix the original problem im all ears )
Thanks
Richie

sorry man not what I need and I still cant work on my contacts as this app appears to use the stock contacts app also.
I'm needing to be able to import my contacts to whatever dialer app I use.
Do some searching in the rom thread. If i remember correctly, there were some reports regarding this. It was an app causing it.

you sir are a legend. the culprit if anyone is interested is Linkedin. remove this and it goes away immediately. this appears to happen whether you have linkedin sync your contacts or not, the whole app must be removed.
