Loving this phone!

Hey guys, recently moved to this phone from the HOX+. As I've researched before, the only negative I can see is the burnt out pixel that is very very tiny in the left hand corner of my screen. It doesn't bother me. I had to go through 3 devices to finally get one that didn't bug me so much, but hey, what are you gonna do, right? I'm an assistant manager here at RadioShack in town and I've seen on the two I've sold that they both had the same problem. Oh well, I say it's still an awesome phone. I have no rooted or unlocked the phone because I feel there is no need yet. The stock ROM is already fantastic and battery power is amazing, too. Just wanted to post this and ask what kind of apps you all are running and get some suggestions on how to make this device EVEN better. Thanks!

Welcome, had mine for a couple days. It is perfect. By far the best phone I have ever had. Even my iphone loving manager said that she is considering moving to this phone. She said it is beautiful. Re the apps, I think I saw a post in the themes section that had a list of the best apps. Give it a look.

Bro, it's a general section post. I asked anything in general or any tips on the phone. Why does everyone on xda that thinks they're crazy good at doing anything technology wise have to be such jerks about it?

This is a forum. A place for discussion. Why close a thread that's discussing things out?
People who always think they know everything and refer every thread he posts to "use the search button" & "google knows it" would kill xda itself due to reducing the pageviews/lesser income in ads.

I know right? I see one guy ask a simple question and 20 guys jump on his thread trying to explain (in very lengthy replies) how its a waste of bandwidth to ask the same questions over and over again and to learn to use the search button..
So we get a thread with 22 people , the OP, 20 idiots raging and 1 guy answering the OP's question.

Well anyways, I just simply wanted to ask about some cool stuff for the One. Seriously, amazing phone. So can anyone give me some tips or anything that works good with the phone? Anything in general? Instead of arguing with so called geniuses (when in all reality, it's just a phone) all day who wanna close the forum because it somehow doesn't meet their "standards". Thanks guys! Just really wanted to know more about the phone!

M8 vs. M7 cameras...Same but new

I know a lot of people are upset/disappointed about HTC sticking with the same 4mp resolution rear camera and fear the same issues/problems with the new phone (red/purple dark shots...Hopefully the attached screen shots of an article I just read clarify/take care of those worries...basically the M8 is using the better 4mp modules that a lot of M7 users were also having installed through RMA (Personally had mine replaced through HTC)...the old modules were model # STxxxx...now they are the omnivision OV4688 model which should eleviate Alot of the discoloration issues in pictures.

Have been playing with sense 6 for a month with ARHD rom. It's pretty nice and I would say it's better than 5.5. Have fun with it:laugh:

on Sense 6 (ARHD 70) and loving it ... battery life has increased significantly!

Come on guys lets keep the chatter to a minimum. This thread is about the very important observations of lbroe. He has just discovered Sense 6 and as an xda member since 2008 his opinion is carries a lot of weight. I for one am very excited to hear about how how his download went. This is a big day, let's not spoil it.

There was a thread to discuss sense 6 on the M7 and the differences from the version found on the M8, screenshots of the update, and decent discussion without all the "can I update with root" "when is my region getting the update" fluff. That thread got closed within a day as "there is already a thread about updates".............. And this drivel is allowed to exist?
Mods, feel free to clean this comment when you rightly close this thread.

Interesting... I have heard of MoKee but never tried it personally. I think I remember a thread being posted here in the past, but it got removed. I can't remember why exactly.

This ROM contains the MoKeeMarket.apk this is a 3rd party app store known for spreading warez. The thread in Android Development was closed for that reason, back in March.

I used it while ago was like a cm rom with extra features. Now it looks like that site quit building for Nexus 6. It list the device shamu but no downloads avail.
