Ok my brother is a moron, he managed to flash again a stock rom to his u8800-51 downloaded from Huawei website.
Now this time instead of being stuck at a bootloop the phone doesn't do nothing at all just a vibration when you turn it on or connect it to the charger, the screen remains black, the pc does not detect it. No pink screen or recovery. Nothing at all.
What can i do?

Update
Ok, today i came back from work and plugged the phone on my laptop (It was completely discharged, the 4 touch buttons lighted up, the red light which i believe indicates battery started to blink and the laptop recognized as a Qualcomm MSM device, installed the drivers automatically and then nothing happened.
The screen remained black, then the buttons turned off, the red light stopped blinking, the phone vibrated and nothing else.
What happens when you remove the battery for 5 minutes and then try to go into Bootloader (Vol+,Vol- and Power) ?
If nothing, I'd say that it's bricked...
Is that a u8800-51? Or a U8800h?

It's a U8800-51 for sure, it's written above the imei number when you remove the battery.

After flashing Quarx's JB 25.10 rom, my phone ran i to trouble. Now, it won't boot. I when I plug in the phone into an outlet, the charging light won't come on but oddly, the phone turns on and goes to the Motorola logo at boot. Then it stays there. I've since lost the original cable that came with the defy if that matters. When I plug the phone into the USB of my computer to charge, the charging LED comes on. But after some time, the phone turns on and goes to the Motorola logo and stays there with the charging LED off. Some time latter, the phone will turn back off and the charging LED will come back on. And then the cycle repeats with the phone turning on to the Motorola logo.
When I hold the up volume and power button, I get a message saying battery is too low to program so I can't even get to flashing a new SBF from RSDLite. Help?

Had this problem with first 2ndboot builds, but it should be resolved in later updates... For me charge mode works fine on 10.18 +10.25update.
Anyway you can try starting the phone without the battery, with moto charger:
1: pull out battery
2: connect charger to mains
3: connect charger USB cable to phone
4: phone should power up automatically, and boot to CM10
5: once the phone booted to CM10, you can put the battery back, and charge it
This method worked for me, hope it will work for you too!

It's stuck at the Motorola logo. After I had the problem, I reinstalled CM10 but the phone abrubtly shut off mid install. That may of caused some problems.

You mean a computer USB to phone USB cable charging? That doesn't help. The moment I plug the phone in, the white LED ligth blinks once quickly but the phone won't even turn on to the Motorola Logo.
No, he means a separate batt charger, where you can put the battery in.

Please ask all questions in the Q&A section. Thread moved there.
So why would flashing a custom ROM cause problems with charging?
LG nexus 4
I don't know what happened. but I was running cyanogen mod 10.2 M1 snapshot. Tried to flash googy max 1.7.8 via rom manager and the flash failed, no big deal but when attempting to reboot the phone never turned on. Shows red light and will blink if I hold in the power button while it is connected to a charger.
other than that it does nothing at all.
sucks. I have tried every button combination and disconnected the battery and reconnected. to no avail.
when connecting to computer the computer recognizes "something" but I can not access the phone at all. When holding in power button acts like it disconnects then connects then red light blinks then disconnects again.
Will connect when I just plug it into computer with Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008.
Is there anything more I can do? Aside from buying a new phone? :crying:

Let it charge for a few hours/overnight, then boot into the bootloader (volume down+power). Once in the bootloader select 'Start'.

ended up getting a replacement from google fortunately I still had my warranty working.
The phone was 96% battery, and then it suddenly turn black, and I can't turn it on again and cannot boot into the bootloader.
When I plug it to the charger, no matter what combination of buttons I tried, my nexus 4 only get a blink red light (no light when charging, only holding the button and charge at the same time will get a blink red light)
I have search over the forum and internet, and tried all their suggestion, all I get is just "only holding the button(no matter what combinations) and charge at the same time will get a blink red light. Any idea?
p.s. the blink red light became "not blink" when I tried the following:
1. Disconnect phone from charger
2. Hold power and volume up for 1 minute
3. Keep holding the two buttons and charge
4. Start blinking red light, after a while it doesn't blink, only red light on
However, when I repeat the above steps, it still blink only.
p.s.2 when plug into the computer, and holding power and vol-, red light is on, no blink, but after a while, the light will turn off

Dude, dont worry.
You were doing some procedure when it happened?
If you were doing some flash procedure, then you will have to do the process again.
The computer recognizes it?

Sound like the red light of death? leave it plugged into the charger for a few hours preferable overnight and see if it comes back to life,
I wouldn't open mine up like the suggestion here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=40761156 until it was a last resort, but if you cant get a replacement from Google then maybe worth a try.
At last I sent my phone to LG, they said it was the motherboard problems.
Thanks for the help!
Okay. All you have to do is make sure it is charging while the red light is blinking because that is what fixed my phone. If it was at a really high level of battery when you were last using it, then it might be a battery problem.

Why reply a post which is 4 years old? That guy might have new phones by now.

Hi, tonight my MiA1 stopped working. It's fully dead, no led notification, no boot, nothing. But if I put it on charge I can boot and use it as always. When I unplug it, it shuts down instantly. In you opinion, what's the problem?
Thanks.
Could be a problem with the power cable inside the phone or the battery could be completely dead.
