Root with Ver. NRD90M test-keys

I have a Huawei VNS-L31 and got the update to Emui 5.0. I have now the Ver. NRD90M test-keys. Is it possible to root with the same method that I used before on Android Marshmallow? I also noted that some people say that they're stuck on this version. Is this one somehow bad?

I have nouget too you can easily downgrade if you do it right most people just get it wrong and you can root with a PC look in the guides section of the p9 lite fourms and you should find it there if not look.uo a guide on google it uses a pc but there is no way to do it on the device its self after you've flashed AND booted into nouget as twrp is not supported yet you had to flash nouget and then flash an elite kernel to get root after updating you'll have to either use a PC or wait.

No, I know how to root on MM, but I can't downgrade cause my NRD90M test-keys version is not official.

I did not use the classic TWPR.
I have the same version as you and I put on the recovery Revolution with the root revolution and everything works very well ...
You have to flash the recovery.img in fastboot and here you go!
If you can not root I think you can change Rom without problem

i take 02 files in FF for MHA-L29C432 EMUI 9 PIE
COPY in internal storage
with root a install Emui flasher apk and select 02 files.
device Reboot in stock update
and ok
mate9 in Emui9

can you tell the build number of emui 9 you install on your device ?

I'm currently on an Honor 9 running 385 (EMUI 8). So I should download EMUI 9 from FF for Honor 9, install this apk, and let the app run itself? Will this make me lose root and TWRP? Does it matter what order I select the files?

I too am a bit confused. According to the thread I can download any of the MHA-LGRP2 files to use for my C567. Is this correct?

i tried update from b191 to b255 (EMUİ 9.1) , it is not updated. when %60-70 given error. i restored my phone from erecovery.

i install 9.1.0.255 mha from FFINDER via emuiflasher....in 79% appear fail....my mate9 brick....only enter fastboor ...unlocked

I'm currently on MHA-L29 8.0.0.360(C567). I downloaded the MHA-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.255 from FF, which apparently my IMEI is authorized for.
Has anyone attempted to upgrade from EMUI 8 to 9.0/9.1 with this tool?

Dude you need to upgrade to EMUI 5 first.
Use Firmware Finder app and dns/vpn method to do this, many threads here
or the internet explain how to.
You just need to know your correct firmware.

Was your device bootloader unlocked with TWRP before your updated the device to Android 9?
As you are aware the bootloader unlock is now not available from Huawei in order to root the device.
Number of sites promise to root the device and most if not all are fraud.

Bootloader unlocked. Got TWRP on it, but i cant install android 9.1 manually, don't find any working scripts like for example this one:

wich I used to update manually and to 9.0. But nothing to 9.1 yet. Also can't find any roots for 9.1 :/

Correct me if I am wrong.
Is your device bootloader unlocked, TWRP and rooted on Android Build 9.0 (Pie).
At this moment I suggest you remain on Build 9.0.x.x and not bother updating to Build 9.1.x.x.
Unless you have some urgent need to update to Build 9.1. ?
And if you update to Build 9.1 - in any event wait for months as custon developers have given up on Huawei devices due to their inability to unlock the Bootloader.

I have not the BL unlocked. Can I go back with downgrade and unlock it?

I followed a guide and have it done. It's in spanish but you can translate it with google translate and it's readble, xda doesn't let me put links here so send me a private message so I can send it to you if you want it.

Need help as well. On vtr l09 (p10). 9.1
I'm not really able to get magisk working, any help?

im trying to root my huawei mate 10 lite but all methods i saw needs unlock of bootloader
and the method of bootloader code doesn't exist atm since huawei locked it
so is there any other easier way to root my huawei ?
model : RNE-L21
Build : RNE-L21 8.0.0.356(C185)
i hope someone can help me out ...

1. Download and install service ROM .310 via dload method
Download
2. Downgrade to the A7 using HiSuite
3. Install service ROM A7 B142 via dload
Download
4. Now you should be able to use "DC-unlocker" or "hcu-client" (paid services - 4€/$).
The process will erase all your data!

No, you can unlock bootloader for free using this procedure .
But you have to remove the back cover of your phone.
