Look what XDA Front Page has to offer us:
https://www.xda-developers.com/download-amazon-offers-remove-lockscreen-ads-amazon-fire/
So if you care about is getting lockscreen ads off (which you should, since apparently Amazon did this to fix a security issue with the lockscreen) go for it!

Works rather well. I just tested it on CM7 via the Silk Browser.
I do have flashed installed. Watched a little of LOST Season 5 in HD. Played smooth as butter. Just a heads up or a work around till the "Amazon Video" app is fixed/hacked.
Yes, for a few weeks. I use stock CM7 browser and switch user agent to Linux desktop.

Install Beats audio drivers

talkatone
unsync google currents for lag free
miui tweak

would be helpful if u describe how to do and what it does
I'd like to recommend you to use your Nexus 7 with stock rom & stock kermel at least for a few days. Without that, you can't recognize the changes you made

i have a Note 4 N910C, running 5.0.1, completely stock. The following 3 wallpapers aren't working for me which i really liked using
Christmas HD 1.5.4 (modded with outdoor pack, downloaded from xda)
Haunted House HD (also modded from xda 1.9.2)
Celtic Garden HD, newest update, not modded. (for this one it says loading live wallpaper, and it never loads, while for the other 2 it just crashes upon opening)
If someone could please help, i'd highly appreciate it. I loved using these wallpapers on my S4, and now i can't (
can anyone help please ???
I'm running an unofficial version of CM13 on the Honor 5X. Unofficial means a few things are absent at the moment, like fingerprint scanner. What does work works to make this one of the smoothest phones I've used. (EMUI is entirely unusable.)
I'm very interested and I'm this close to ordering the Moto X Pure. So since it's very close to AOSP, as is CyanogenMod, I'm interested to know what differences I can look forward to. Yes, I acknowledge that just because they're both approaching AOSP doesn't mean they are similar to each other.
With CM, I nominally have LiveDisplay (which is broken at the moment but is great when it did work).
With CM, I can enable extra buttons other than just back and home and switcher. I also have search and the menu buttons on.
With CM, I can double tap the power button and it'll go directly to the camera.
These are what comes to mind right now. So, can I expect the Pure to have this functionality?

For the record, I have no immediate interest in switching from the vanilla on the Pure. My sole interest at the moment is just wondering how similar they are and if I will have to give up some familiar functionality.

Is there a way to get the 4x4 pattern CM lockscreen the on a stock rooted ROM?

Moto Display = LiveDisplay (so you have it)
extra buttons - with xposed is possible
double power camera - in Moto it's double phone twist for camera
I suspect I'll find that the double twist thing is stupid and gimmicky, unless I find that the power button is just inconvenient.
But I'm glad it's basically available. What about the 4x4 pattern lock screen, as @sunny_j asked about?
Is that available through xposed? I've never used it (and have no idea what role it serves--yet), but my understanding is that it requires root, which requires unlocking the bootloader, which I understand is easy enough.

CPL launcher
Nova Launcher Prime is good and my goto launcher. Square Home 3 is a nice Windows 10 launcher. I also recommend Smart Launcher 5. It's handy they way it automatically sorts your apps into categories.
I think that depends on the personal taste of each one... I prefer 100x Lawnchair 2 over Nova.

+1 , its great
I'm also very happy with Poco launcher. I could only last a couple hours in MIUI without an app drawer so I installed the beautifully compatible Poco Launcher and looked no further. The updates have only made it better (night mode, MIUI 10 icon animations), can lock the phone with a double tap, great overall.
How does Nova compare to Poco on the Note 7?
