Enable Portrait Mode on Mi Max

Hello friends , have great day
Now u can instant activate portrait mode on your Mi Max !
No Custom rom required , enable on miui 9 .
IMPORTANT ADVISE: Install at your own risk. We are not responsible for any damage to your device. Read carefully instructions before install.
follow simple guide !
Pre-requisites
1. Unlocked Bootloader
2. Rooted Device
3. Modded Gcam
4. Build Prop Editor
Downloads

2. Build Prop Editor
Let's Start,
1. Download Build Prop Editor from the link above or from the Google Play Store
2. Unzip the PortraitMode.zip
3. Enable Root Access for build prop editor App
4. in build prop editor : Add these line without Quotes and reboot "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1"
5.5. Install Gcam Mod Apk
6. You can use this Camera for Portrait Mode
7. For HDR+ install HDR Mode in the Zip File .

I'm wearing weeks testing camera apks from celsoazevedo files and for MI Max this work for me.
I'm usim gcam 31-8 from @bilakos10, thread gcam 31-8
This is for me the most stable, video recording work fine 30-60 fps and in low light.
And i use gccam 1.7 GCam5.1.018-Arnova8G2-V1.7.apk from @Arnova8G2 for portrait mode.
Edit: I'm using global beta rooted with magisk and magisk module enable hal3.

Can you tell setings for GCam v1.7??? i can't take potrait mode always FC! ... i testing in Mi Max Prime Rom MiuiPro and i using magisk. camera2api module active but still FC!

Right now not because one update has deleted root in my phone, one thing, i'm using miui beta.
edit: Ok, let me try again.
edit2: gcam5.1.0.018-Arnova8G2-V1.7.apk
settings: nexus 6 auto, pixel corr, enable portrait. working fine in rear camera. Frot camera not saving photos.

Front camrera has disappeared. Mi A1

I installed an apk from here - celsoazevedo Pixel3 Mod google camera. However, after I installed it my front camera has stopped working altogether.The button has disappeared from the stock cam app and in apps like WhatsApp and instagram it is showing me a zoomed in viewfinder of the back camera. I have flashed a stock fastboot rom. Factory reset it it my front camera is still not working. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with this problem. Thank you.

To use the gcam from celsoazevedo you must activate cam2 api, as in stock doesnt have it activated. Uninstall that camera or activate camera2 api, but you must be rooted

Uninstall the cam you installed earlier or install the rom again

[Fix] [MIUI10] camera upside-down

So apparently in a few MIUI10 based ROMs there's a bug
with the Camera2 implementation.
Just download this zip file and flash it via TWRP,
it will rotate your front camera back to its right angle

If the upside down happens ONLY with Gcam, I would not mess with it.
BUT
if you're experiencing EXACTLY this bug, it's affecting ALL your cameras apps, since it's a system/etc/camera setting.
Then, this patched file will fix them all!

this camera issue happens in every camera app whether its stock camera or third party,,,

i used command adb sideload <filename.Zip> and flash.
but nothing happened.

Front cam is still upside down
Nvm, fixed it. I changed the front cam degrees to 360 instead of 270. Lol weird

I am still having updside down issue after the patch. Any suggestions?

Whatsapp selfie camera takes upsidedown selfies, I just noticed. All other cameras seem normal, Gcam included(orientation is ok after processing). Mount angle is already 270 for my front cam, I might have changed that specially for Gcam when i upgraded fw to MIUI10(.eu)
LE. changed front cam orientation to 360(was 270) and got the stock cam selfie upsidedown(probably all other cameras), so not an option and seems this is the stock setting for my fw.

I've used that already - no effect

Hi i've flashed the zip on Havoc 2.4 but now I get the frontal photo rotated with any camera app. Before was just the GCam with the photo shooted. How can i revert it?

i am using aosp 9.0 r12 by winxuser and for camera: www_celsoazevedo_com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog283/ ( replace _ by dot[.] )
I guess this port will work with any 9.0+ rom for nexus 6p.
google lens integration portrait mode and night sight are working. Only bug i found was front camera in night sight mode is inverted(upside down).

You have custom rom/camera app? if yes that may be the problem if no try resetting the camera settings from the app now if that did not work for you try installing another camera app such as gcam or any alternative
