excuse me if it is not the right place to post my problem , but it is the first topic for me in this site.
i have unlocked the bootloader of my device (PRA-LA1)
it did a factory reset then stuck on the lock screen cause there is no keyboard and it asks for the password
i was wondering , can i use a physical keyboard through an OTG to pass it ? or no as it is the first attempt after a reboot
and what can i do to solve that ? flashing a new stock rom ? please help me i am in a big trouble

hey this my first post so plz be nice!!
i got the t mobile ameo and i tried unlocking it i followed the instructions to the letter.
but something went wrong and if possiable how can i reset it back to origional settings (t mobile) or even unlock it to what i wanted so my 3 simcard can go in there. or orange.
plz help

Hi, and welcome to the forum. (See! I was nice!)
Telling us that 'something went wrong' isn't really enough for us to go on.
You need to describe exactly what happens to your Ameo when you power it up, so we can give the correct advice. What do you see on the screen?

when i do the hard reset it does the usb boot screen but goes to a gray screen that asks me to format microdrive and then flash it. i think the op system been wipped but i cant get it to the rainbow usb boot screen for active sync to fix it
You can get it into bootloader mode by holding down the comm manager and camera buttons, then soft resetting.
From there you can re-install WM6. If you didn't succeed in unlocking the unit, you'll need to use the T-Mo compatible version of WM6 which you can find here - http://uploaded.to/?id=wbbw2u
Recently flashed to NSFfans 6.5 WM rom. I couldn't activate the phone on my account because it wouldn't take the ##...# codes.
Long story short I attempted flashing Bigstorage_SprintTouchRom.exe to try and get back to sprint software where I could use the ## codes.
Everything went smoothly until first boot when it stopped at the "HTC smart mobility" screen. I then hard reset it (send+end+reset button on bottom) and it is still locking up on that screen.
Did I just break my phone?

No, you didn't brick it. It simply sounds like a bad flash.
Try flashing to another rom and see what happens. Which unlocker did you have on? 2.31 or .41?
BTW, if your ## codes don't work is probably because you are using a themed dialer. NFS' rom has a folder under Start Menu that is called "Phone Codes". In there, you will find the PST shortcut, which will allow you to program your phone.
if you can get into the bootloader (tri-color screen) then you haven't bricked it.

How can I get to the boot loader if the phone stays at the "HTC smart mobility" boot screen?
I tried using the rom update utility but it's not connected so it won't do anything.

Edit: Okay, I have successfully re-flashed back to 6.5. The bootloader can be accessed by turning on the phone while pressing the camera button.
I am using 2.31 unlocker. When I try and activate the phone again what do I need to change in the phone codes to make it work?

Under the PST programming, more than likely you will only need to change:
MSID
MIN
HOMESID
username and password (for internet)
You shouldn't need to mess with anything else afaik.
i cant make my phone go up normaly
i have the same problem and i tried to flash with others rom's with no succes ... my phone still locked in start screen . i dont know what to do.. i still can flash normally but i dont know wich rom will get back my phone again.. anyone help me plz!!

Details, details - how have you flashed? Have you tried flashing from bootloader? Flashing a carrier rom from bootloader should do the trick.

Its ok already fix it... =) but i think i need to start over again from unlock to flash it with another rom!

My HTC Universal is almost dead
I had Tomal v12 ROM, tried to install Almost2 ROM, but it stuck on Splash screen , after reflashing several other ROMs problem remained there. also tried MTTY app and enter to bootload and flushed Tomal rom again.
bottom result. now i can't see any thing on my screen , even i cant enter to BootLoader screen by pressing keys.
Screen is totaly black at moment and usb connected to it does not recoginize it as valid device.
Please help me how to come out from this.. and get back my device back working.

hi, igot this HTC tattoo for unlocking but i found that even without sim it asks for phone lock , but i cant also enter any right code as calibration on screen is bad , and hard reset with home and back button didn t solved the problem plz any help apreciated

Hey Folks,
After i Fry to reinstall the original Rom on my a500 iam in an endless Startup Loop
I've put the Rom on my sd Card Restart in bootloader whipe my device and then i Install the Rom..... Everything goes well Root is away... And then i Restart it... And now i See only the android Logo Flashing up and Down and sometimes it Sees that they want to Start but nothing
I can't Start bootloader again ....
Any idea what i can do to Kick it Out of the Loop?

Hi mate. I hope you had solved your problem by now.. but if you hadn´t, this was the only one solution that fix my Iconia.. which was totally useless after updating to ICS... and I was about to throw it to the trash can until I follow this steps
