External USB keyboard french layout

Since I can't reply to the development forum thread "External Keyboard with AZERTY"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=867923, I post my reply here :
I succeeded to compile a french keyboard layout by deploying some french kbd source mapping files found on the web at <android_2.2>/sdk/emulator/keymaps, adding the source files to the "Android.mk" and building the deployment files "fr.kcm.bin" & "fr.kl".
Find attached a zip file, you may unzip on "/tmp" on your gen8 device and execute "./setup.sh" to install the french layouts (Works on my MobilityLab USB external keyboard).
Of course, you need "root" access to mount a tmpfs filesystem and fix the content of the "/system/usr/keychars" and "/system/usr/keylayout".

Does anyone besides me find it somewhat humorous that a French company doesn't support French? I know...I'm stupid.

Any advise to launch your script?
I tried to launch it through Console emulator, it seems to ran but it did not change anything.
Although my kb is a mobility lab
Edit: I verified, both files are correctly copied, but still in qwerty, maybe there is a change to perform to choose the layout?

Maybe, maybe not.
I think you should give it a try, if your device is an Android one, I don't see anything that could cause an issue...

I'm just dumb! It say have to Change my software keybaord layout to fit with the bluetooth one but it work only with the keyboard of the tab (the Samsung keyboard). I use a Samsung galaxy tab with rom overcom
For who Wana try one other tab, enter the setup of your stock ROM keyboard and try to use different configuration.

What is the difference between the four apk's?

Really like the look of this keyboard. It looks like its stuck downloading the dictionary for English(US) or does it just take awhile

Introduction
What is it?
YotaMirrorCFG is my stab at developing something useful for the Yotaphone 2. It's a configure tool for YotaMirror, which controls the mode each app mirroring on the back screen. It is specified and has been tested on the latest firmware (1.99 RU).
What it does?
- The configure tool allows you to change and manage mirroring mode for each app.
- The configure tool provides full-refresh mode for mirroring , also could change the dithering mode, waveform mode etc...
Installation instructions
I'm not going to bother putting this on Google Play because of the extra work with little benefit, so you have to install the apk manually. Here's how:
1. Check "allow installation of apps from unkown sources" from Settings - Security so that you can install the file.
2. Download the apk file and put it on your phone, or download it to your phone directly.
3. Open the apk file with some file manager and install it.
After this you can manage the mirroring mode for each app in it, just following the instructions.

Known issues
- This Widget requires Lollipop to work. No backwards compatibility.
- Changing the parameters in YotaMirrorCFG may cause unpredicted issues. Please set to default if you got mirroring issues on your yotaphone.
FAQ
The graphics without aesthetic ...
- If someone wants to create new graphics for the app, I am very willing to change them.
What are all these permissions?
- The MOUNT_UNMOUNT_FILESYSTEMS permission.
- The TWRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission.

Try the other link (english version) _EN....
But it seems that the apps does only work with newest RU -Firmware, as i cannot configure anything in my EU-Version...

now the app is in English for me, good (I'm on the latest RU build)
- when I click "MIRRORMANAGER" I get a force close.
- in the 'modify mirror cfg' I see 2 'ONE KEY BACK TO DEFAULT' buttons.
Also it would be good if you sort the app list selection by A-Z

Can you explain all the menus and buttons a little bit more? What are they for? Also I didn't get why not all of my applications are shown in the list? For example I can not find Google books there but it is installed in my yotaphone 2.

Thanks for the app but I'm not sure what the different settings mean. I see the local refresh option but presumably that is to minimise flashing? I'm after the opposite - to force a full refresh on the home screen - I'm using Apex Launcher and getting a lot of ghosting after opening and closing menus/app drawer/folders.
I'd like to force Apex to do a full refresh - is that possible with this app, and if so, which settings should I use?
(Sorry for my ignorance.)

Hello, is there any way to use this great application to set the setting of yotareader, because the reader apply some sort of "anti-aliasing" to the font to make it looks fine but i prefect sharper renderer (even if the font is aliased)

The official document will give u a detailed introduction for the mode/prameter in YotaMirrorCFG. Please spend some time to read it if you really want to play it. Otherwise you can just tick in page 'Mirror Manager' in App.
[If you encounter a issue indicating format error of missing files...]
Please go to the directory /sdcard/TitaniumManger in your phone, and delete mirroring.cfg. Try the app again.
Ps. If no directory /sdcard/TitaniumManger found, please establish one yourself.

i have the ZeBlaze crystal and i couldn't find anywhere how to update it (mine has some SW bugs).
eventually i reached out to ZeBlaze and they sent me the update directly with instructions!
i haven't tested it yet since i have to get home to flash the watch.
here are the files they sent me, if anybody will get the chance to test it before i can and provide feedback that would be great.

i tried this from windows 8.1, after connecting the watch it identified as one-port usb but right after that it disconnected and identified as a storage device. i will try this later on windows 7 hoping it will work

I advise try windows xp or 7.it always works for me on virtual box.

i have the same exact problem on windows 7. do you have a zeblaze watch? what driver are you using?

i have a f2 chines smart watch that has same 2502 as crystal.
i tried this beautiful rom and unfortunately it was not fully compatible with my watch.the screen orientation was 180 different from touchscreen.it was fun.i was sliding up and pages went down.
i had same problem with flash tools and take this steps to overcome them
1. xp or win7 on virtualbox or vmware were not answering so i installed a fresh copy of win7
2. i have a few versions of sp flashtools but only the v5.1444.00.00 (provided one) was worked for me.
3. drivers was not the problem in my case . its was default com1 port of windows.disable that thing. sp flash tool see this one by default(why?!?!) and await for this port ignoring your watch enabled port (for me com5 and of curse yours might be different).
4. never forget backup your current firmware(you can find the guide here. believe me it saved my ass )

I successfully upgrade my Zeblaze Crystal with firmware 0408, released 2016/03/26 . I have not seen anything new (only Siri, firmware 61022010).I miss the background for the menu (not already in the firmware 61022010) and new watch faces. Backgroud for watch face was better in firmware 61022010, now is again black . I'm a little disappointed with new update. I was expecting more. I will install back firmware 61022010.

I already bought more radios like these from the seller before and they had a different UI than now and they worked frankly well... more fluid. Could someone tell me where to get this UI:

Hi try with this software from JUNSUN it helped my device, we have simialr ones.
Download firmware from comment area in video and update device.

Then , when updated , go to factory menu with pin code 8888 and adjust settings for device (RADIO MENU , OTHER, DISPLAY and TOUCH STUDY/CANBUS - these two menus - if you must make steering wheel command s to work.).
FOR RADIO MENU :
- if radio.app is stalling or freezes - set OSCILACION to 9,20, FM and AM sense to 21-27, RDS ON, IC TYPE is your chip of radio (do not change that as these if wrong will freeze radio and commands), SORT is RADIO FREQ
- if radio freezes after bootup and wont response at all - try this app :
(just download file and transfer to device, then get in APK installer and install radio from this apk file)

I have this version: 8227L_8鑫瑞畅UI01-国外11_v4_20210705 with that UI that I say I want. But that version of soft on my radio model is very, very slow. it works much better with this one: 8227L_CHS_UI04-10_v3_20191207 . Do you know of a way to extract the UI from the first one and add it to another?

There is no need to extract anything, firmware is somewhere on this forum or somewhere on clouds services , we just have to find it on net.

From and by this pic inaside this folder your device has maybe XRC not CHS type of firmware, now just we can try to find software that matches UI4 dated year 2019 or early 2020 on the net.
But... I'm not sure wheter your device is PX5 chipset and what android version it has... (according to this picture inside - nb. 1 - UI is similar or that one that you pasted here)

From and by this pic inaside this folder your device has maybe XRC not CHS type of firmware, now just we can try to find software that matches UI4 dated year 2019 or early 2020 on the net.
But... I'm not sure wheter your device is PX5 chipset and what android version it has... (according to this picture inside - nb. 1 - UI is similar or that one that you pasted here)

Just take a brief video of your device info (about device in infotainment section), just to se what kind of system it is, for chip info we will google it.

friend, this is the version that I would need. I have it on another older screen and it works perfectly with the UI that I mentioned. can I somehow extract it from this other screen?

How can I see if it is fake android 10? In device information it appears as android 10.
