The LG Optimus One is an awesome phone....as per my 1 week experience
Here are a few issues I am facing hope you guys will be able to help me out.
1. I have the default SD card in the device and everything works fine. Except that the SD card does not get detected by the LG PC suite. So I am unable to sync music and photos and videos with the phone. the PC suite says "SD card not detected". I have not tried removing the SD card fearing that the phone might become unstable or some other problem, cos many apps are installed on the SD card.
2. I want to install some of the default apps. esp. bollywoodji, gives me bunkum updates that too in the notification area! the latest one being "Big B wants dance Lessons" and "Soha's jealous at heart"......I don't care!!!!!!
anyways tried uninstalling the app but it doesn't allow...Pls help
3. Most of the apps provided by LG and lot others installed by me are on the SD card, now I am planning to move to a 8gb or 16gb SD card, is moving the stuff from this SD card to the new one as simple as copy-paste?
Thanks for your help.

I have a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 put Dhollment Kit Kat on it and tab works fines. The Sd card does not.
It won't stay mounted and when try to transfer to the card keep getting disconnect errors.
Tried fat 32 format and NTSC (ntsc is more stable but not perfect)
The card keeps loosing data and unmounting. It's a 64gb samsung (thought a samsung sd in a samsung tablet would be a no brainer)
obviously not. Also is there a syn manager and back up manager that works best with these since rooted can no longer use
kies which again is a good thing. only thing i used it for was back ups.
any help appreciated also did reboots and hard reboot and still same problem. only thing i noticed is there's a usb debugging message that pops up sometimes. thanks tried to post in the dhollmen rom thread but site wouldn't let me.
I have a V500, LG G Pad 8.3, on 4.4.2, and the SD card unmounting is now happening multiple times a day. The device is basically unusable with a microSD card.
Yes, I've previously restored to factory settings; it got better for a while, then the same problem came back again.
I know it's not the SD card that's the problem, because I tried everything from a Sandisk 32gb cards, to a Sony 16gb card, to a generic 8gb card that I bought from MicroCenter. All become 'unmounted' in the G Pad 8.3.
I'm not rooted, but from what I understand, root access on the LG 4.4.2 firmware is difficult, for lay novices anyway.
Do I basically only have a device that works with the in-built memory? I'm almost ready to unload the thing to Gamestop for whatever they'll give me and get something else, maybe another Android tablet, maybe an iPad mini.

If you root it, there is a way to solve the problem, it is posted here the 136th post in the thread if my link is messed up:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57632532&postcount=136
You may want to read my follow up to his post as well here:

The root process is quite easy basically you can go here and get stumproot:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g-pad-83/general/stumproot-gpad-v500-t2927402
The part that is difficult, is getting twrp recovery on the 4.4.2 version. You can do it if you want but it requires a bit of work (I have done it several times).
The problem is if you do root and LG ever does come out with an update for the tablet (lollipop maybe) you would then need to revert to stock before taking the update or the update might brick your tablet...
If you need help with any of this ask and I'll be glad to post additional details.

Looks not so good:
new galaxy TAB A7 10.4 Cannot Move APPA to SD card as in previous models
BEWARE you cannot move any APPs over to the external SD card, I have a 64GB internal which is large. If you get a smaller internal and download may APPs you coud be out of gas with nowhere to go. Samsung claims it is a copyright problem. However how come all of a sudden its a problem when...

Maybe if rooted there is a way to move some apps to external storage
Have a look here:

I recently purchased the Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 (released in 2020) and couldn't help but notice that there's no dedicated thread in the forums for unlocking the bootloader or rooting (Although, the method should be very similar to what is followed...

This user says that it should also work on a stock unrooted device too.
Hi
I have a SM-P585 with s pen and currently I installed lineageOS on it...
In it's default ROM, my big problem was this that I wasn't able to use SD card as internal and my storage was becoming full as soon as soon...
Now,I missed my Samsung kids and my special utility of my s-pen ( in original ROM, when I eject my pen, a note pad opens automatically)
So... I like come back to SM-P585 original ROM.
Is it any way that works for using my SD card as internal for this device? (As now in lineageOS)
If rooting helps, I can root my device. (Please say me best way for rooting it)
And lastly, how can I reinstall original ROM?
Thanks a lot
