I have an issue. I wiped my phone, and my titanium backup got wiped with it. I reinstalled or3o 0.5 and I logged in to google. I did not select restore from the set up menu. There were backups but I decided to skip it. Is there a way for me to restore after I have passed the initial menu and am on the home screen?

Well i had disliked the new market that had come out so i had gone to settings>applications>manage applications>market and clicked remove updates. My phone had restarted and got stuck at the red eye of death loop. My phone is rooted with titanium backup downloaded however i did not backup everything i wanted to my sd card before the loop started. I don't want to factory restore as it would delete the data for all the stuff i didn't backup. I so far have been to recovery mode and deleted cache partition thinking that would not hurt the data but have not touched the factory reset button in recovery mode. Is there anyway to get to my phone. If this is not possible is there anyway to get to titanium backup and backup what i want before wiping anything else on my phone?
I did a Nandroid backup a while ago but when I do a restore it restores it almost back to defaults. None of my installed apps are there. No customisations on the desktop etc (Like Circlelauncher). I was using Revolver 0.2.1 at the time. I made sure I flashed back to that firmware before doing the restore.
I don't know why it's not restoring everything like it should. When I did the backup I just chose the default backup option (Not advanced or anything) and likewise for the restore.
Any ideas?
I give up. Going to give the nvflash backup and restore method a go.
Quick background:
I was running stock Android 4.2.1 with a custom kernel & recovery (TWRP) and decided to install CM's latest rom. I forgot to make a backup before installing the new rom and, because I didn't want to lose all of my app data, I did not do a factory reset after installing the CM rom. This caused me to end up in a broken state with Android being stuck at the boot animation. To prevent myself from breaking anything else, I made a backup of this broken state using TWRP. I then proceeded to factory reset which got Android working again.
Question:
I have some app data (read: game saves) in the broken TWRP backup that I would like to recover. Is there a way to pull app data from the TWRP backup that I can use to restore the app using Titanium, TWRP, or something else?
Thanks in advance!
Titanium Backup > Menu > Extract apps/data from Nandroid Backup.

Thanks for the reply! I just tried doing that and the backup is detected, but no apps/app data show up. The list is blank.
Is there anything else I should try or is my data just gone?

Was the backup compressed?
I made a nandroid backup using TWRP 2.7.0.0 of a CM11 M6 install. When I try to restore it, all the apps show up but there's no data for any of them. They all act as if it's the first time I've run them. Also, all my "Accounts" have disappeared so when it first boots, I've to log into Google & Cyanogenmod again. But system settings and wifi are all there.
What I've tried:
- Tried to update to TWRP 2.7.1.0 and restore again, but no joy.
- I tried to restore the backup I made before I updated to CM11 of a CM10.2 (I think) install and that fails with no error message while restoring /data.
- Restoring app data using Titanium Backup from a nandroid backup. It crashes halfway through, though.
What I'm going to try:
- Restoring again, wiping cache/dalvik, installing same rom + gapps over the restore.
- Restoring app data from the nandroid backup using Nandroid Manager.
- Restoring apps + data from my Titanium Backup backup from about a week ago. It's not up to date so I was hoping to avoid using it.
Any other ideas? What could be causing it?
It looks like this did the trick: - Restoring again, wiping cache/dalvik, installing same rom + gapps over the restore.
I got the advice from this xda thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2616143
Now I've to wait and see whether it's stable. Doing a TB backup now. I'll make an ADB one after this one, as well as another nandroid one, though I've had nothing but trouble with the last four-five nandroid backup/restores I've done.
Hi, I was trying to backup and restore a single app. adb backup works for me (it created a backup.ab) but when I did adb restore, on my phone it shows the backup screen instead:

When I tap on "Back up my data", on my bottom of my phone it shows "Restoration started" but when I check back on that app, it wasn't restored at all.
Note: After running adb backup, I did some changes in the app so that when I did adb restore, I can see if those changes are undid.
My friend who uses OnePlus 3 could get the backup and restore working and we tried to match our settings to the same as much as possible but still didn't work.
I was wondering if anybody had the same issue as I did? Backup screen shows up when restoring?
I also got the backup page when restoring. when I accepted the prompt and a toast message said restoring. I just finished restoring my phone. seems that there is no restore page just the backup page. click backup my files and it will work.
