Dropped my ZTE and now it won't work - Blade General

Okay so earlier today I dropped my ZTE less than half of a foot onto the floor and it will not turn on. I've tried all possible button combinations (power for 20-25 seconds) / power + volume down / volume up and down + power. No success. I've tried charging it with different chargers as well as with the original charger. This phone is relatively new. Got it about two weeks ago but did not buy the warranty. I've tried charging it for hours with no success. No home glowing light indication nor is there even a charging light at the top. I don't know what to do but after trying to speak with the phone carrier they said due to it having a small scuff they will not be able to help me. Please help. This is my second ZTE I really don't want to have to buy a new phone. :crying:

Droid Razr M won't power on

In the past I've had issues with this phone such as when I powered off the phone, regardless of battery life it would not power on unless I plugged it into the usb cable and wall outlet or computer.
I've been running a custom ROM (which I don't recall) for several months but the last few days applications kept crashing. So yesterday I tried flashing the ROM (Clean-ROM) and all seemed to go well until I rebooted the phone. It was stuck on the M logo for about 30-40 minutes. I tried rebooting it a couple times and even tried putting it into "Recovery" mode. It wouldn't get past the M logo.
I finally powered off the phone and now it won't power on at all. I've tried letting it charge for more then 8 hours but still nothing.
I've got a battery pack (Limeade) and I've noticed when I plug it into that to see if it would charge on it. The light on the battery pack will come on for about 5 seconds then go dark as if nothing was plugged into it.
I've tried holding the Vol+ and power button for 30 seconds, tried holding the Vol+ and - and power for 30 seconds, and even Vol - and power for 30 seconds. At this point the phone is still off and I can't get any response from it including no reaction from the phone when I hook it up to the PC or power outlet.
Any suggestions?
My XT907 suffers from SOD's (Sleep of death) in which when my phone enters deep sleep and it wont wake up. Usually a reboot to recovery (Power \ Vol +) will solve the issue, but I remember distinctly one time where my phone wouldn't wake even when I tried to reboot with all of the reboot combinations like you stated. I had to plug my XT907 into a wall charger for 60 sec. and then reboot while it was still pluged in. I don't know if you tried it this way but if not try and see what happens. Otherwise it sounds like a bad battery connector. Good luck :good:
Thanks for the suggestion Attack. I have tried the Vol down and power and all the other combinations and none of them have any effect on the phone.
Took it to Verizon since the phone was under manufactures warranty and they tried their magic too with no luck. They had questions as to if it could be returned to Motorola though. I had dropped the phone about 2-3 months ago and the bottom right corner bezel had popped out and a minor dent. Verizon thought it was very much borderline and said Motorola might or might not cover it under warranty and they might try to say the drop is what caused it to not power on now.
The risk would be if Motorola felt it was the corner damage they would then charge my account retail of $400 for the Razr M. I don't feel it's anywhere near that value and will be looking at new phones today to replace it.

If you send it to Motorola for repair and they feel the user is at fault for the damage they will either send it back to you with a post it note telling you why they didn't fix it or the will call you and tell you then ask if you want the extended warranty for 80-120$usd they normally only do that for water damage tho....

[Q] My Aquos Crystal appears to be bricked after complete discharge

Hey everyone,
I don't know what happened wrong with my interaction with AQUOS, but the phone appears to be bricked.
Here's what happened.
Bought my phone from Boost, successfully switched carrier to Ting
Have been using the phone for more than a month without any problems at all
Yesterday, I left the phone without charging and it fully discharged
I plugged it to charge and came back to turn it on after a few hours later. This is when I noticed it wouldn't turn on.
I tried a couple things: holding the power button for a long time, and a hard reset (volume down button + power button). But the results were the same.
The screen doesn't turn on. While holding the power button or power + volume button, the only feedback from the phone is a series of prolonged vibrations (~10 seconds) separated by a brief pause (~1 second).
Have anyone experienced this problem?
Any advice/insight into this problem would be greatly appreciated.
I've had similiar issues with tablets where it completely drained and wouldn't charge via USB. At most it'd just give off a single vibrate and then die before even flicking on the screen. Try this, plug a USB cable in for a full 24hours before you hit the power button. Then give it a try. If it pops on to the screen where its charging after that let it get a full charge before fully powering on. Hope this helps and also hope its not due to the switch to ting.
Best of luck
PHONE OFF
This could be due to a bad usb connection. some usb when broke will actually discharge your phone or tablet so try to use a different usb. PLZ POST BACK IF THAT DIDNT WORK I HAVE MORE SOLUTIONS

[Q] Phone appears to be dead

I've been using my phone as I always would. I even used it around two minutes before it stopped working. I went up to get a drink, got a message and responded to it, went back to where I was and sat down and wanted to charge the phone only to notice that it didn't and it wouldn't turn on either.
I took out the battery and put it back on. I've checked the connectors and they seem to be alright. I held the power button for a minute without the battery in it, which was a trick I read on a website. I tried 3 different chargers (2 fast chargers and a regular one) and the phone won't charge (no red light) and the battery was 90% full when I went to get a drink, which I know because I was already charging. I've tried many things (holding power button with battery in it as well), but nothing seems to work and the device appears to be dead. It's a brand new device as well which I got in mars after my first Note 4 got stolen.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

My advice for you is to take it to the Samsung. This is a major issue for a almost brand new phone. Good luck.

Totally dead phone - any sneaky tricks to fire it up?

My wife's G6 Plus simply died when we were out with the boat yesterday. No water anywhere inside the boat, though (we drink other beverages...). Tried to connect it to the wall wart for a few hours, nothing. I know it can take a charge, because I can see my powerbank reacting when it's connected. But no dice on turning it on. We've tried holding down the power button for minutes, and the power button plus volume down. Are therne any more options that can work? When I connect it to a pc there's no reaction at all. I would like to get some of her pics out of it that weren't backed up, but that's of course not happening before I can turn it on.
So is there a sneaky, hidden way to threaten/torture it to wake up, or are we up a certain creek without a paddle?
I did have the exackt same problem with my G6 plus a few weeks ago. After a walk (no rain) suddenly my phone was dead. Zero reaction.
I did bring it to a reparehous and they did a boardswap. My moto is workung fine after that and is was repared for free becourse of 2 years warrenty.
Thanks, but that won't help me get the pics out. The phone is already replaced by a Mate 20 Pro, and it can of course be fixed by replacing the board, but that means loosing the pics, which are the only thing that matters in that thing.

A2017G not turning on, notification light blinks red on power/plug in.

So, I went for dinner tonight downstairs and when I came back I found my phone(A2017G) turned off with the notification light stuck on red.
Phone's old, bought it in July 2018(bought it resealed), though I had it changed via warranty after about two months due to the top speaker having the crackling/distortion issue. So I basically ended up with a brand new sealed phone for ~225$ at that time.
Back on topic though, plugging it in, it attempts to start up(vibrates and turns on), but displays the discharged battery icon (as if it ran out to 0 and shut itself off). Pressing the power button gives me the ZTE logo, the Unlocked boot-loader warning screen (which I usually bypass by pressing the power button again), then it blinks red three times and shuts itself off again. It's not booting in recovery either(running the nFound TWRP + crDroid ROM). However it won't charge. Tried multiple cables/charger combos, all act the same. it vibrates, displays the icon, then shuts off.
The device being bricked is pretty much out of the question right, unless it went DFU due to the battery? I've had it unlocked for the past 3 years at least...never had much issues with flashing (apart from the initial unlock which I wanted to be extra careful with but the drivers + EDL tool made it dead easy). And I haven't flashed or did anything of sorts recently.
Now, I'm 99% sure that the battery has finally given out, since the screen and presumably everything else work fine. The charging port has had no issues, always charged at QC amperage, no disconnects or anything, no "loosening" as I've had on multiple other phones. To be fair though , phone had started acting out a bit, slowing down and randomly closing apps...in the past few weeks and knowing the battery had already lost ~1000 mAh, I expected it to give out at some point. It's probably the safety mechanism built into it right?
The phone is old, as I said and according to Accu Battery, it's been at ~70% health for a while now.
Fortunately, a service shop in my country seems to have replacement batteries in an outside warehouse in Germany It should take around a week to deliver one to me, I'll change it myself. It seems to be original also. It's 25$, but I kinda wanted an opinion if I should buy it and replace it. I mean, for 25$...I've got nothing to lose, but hey, won't hurt to gather more info first.
I kinda don't want to replace the phone...since it still works fine and I still haven't found a replacement in the audio department. I've had people around me change their phones(to varying models, from low to high end) and tried each and every one of them(with Neutron/Hi-Res and enhancers off) and none sound as good as the Axon on the 3.5mm jack. The Axon simply works for me. Camera with GCam still slaps proper light pictures and documents, screen + sound is still fantastic for movies/anime at night when I can't be bothered to sit in a chair, calls are still crispier and louder than most phones today.
