Unlock your bootloader. Boot into TWRP by @mohancm from fastboot(don't flash it if you don't want it permanently). Go to backups. Select EFS backup. Swipe from left to right for backup. The backup will be stored where you had set the location in TWRP.
Then lock your bootloader again if you want to.

If I read posts from Cyanogen correctly, there should be a nandroid of the original stock firmware of the Nexus One (there is no one's info in this backup)
Just put the folder in the root and run a nandroid restore
SP flash tool make a backup of your NVRAM when you format your device so you can restore it
i will give you guide to do that...Let's go :
1-open SP flash tool's folder than go to \BackupData ( it will be maked by SP flash tool after format a device )
2-copy "__NODL_NVRAM.img" to your PC's desktop and rename it to "NVRAM.img"
3-download the "Restore-NVRAM.zip" file in attachmant
4-open "Restore-NVRAM.zip" with winrar
5-drag & drops "NVRAM.img" in "Restore-NVRAM.zip" root
6-copy "Restore-NVRAM.zip" to your SDcard and flash it using CWM
7-Now wipe data and reboot your device....:good:

OK...if you don't have backup, this method doesn't work
so that you must enter the IMEI Manually by using the IMEI Number on the box and engineering mode

I tried but I just can't get my IMEI back... I tried some tools generating the MP0B_001 file but after I put it in /data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/, nothing changed...
In addition, could you please share the guidance to get back baseband? I just can't get rid of the problem of "unknown baseband"
wheres backup folder location created by flash tools? i couldnt find it..
Hellol
I hope I'm posting in the correct place. I have a rooted Lg V20 VS 995 which I found out has a blacklisted imei so am exchanging for another device same model with a good imei. I have the first device exactly how I want it, rooted, custom Resurrection Remix rom and have a good TWRP backup on PC. if I use the Rooted TWRP PC backup as a restore will it make the new device a duplicate of the old one, rooted and all? I'm trying to save $40 on paying for another root. I don't know how to root myself, but I can install TWRP I think, and restore if that would work.
Thank you, Barry

if you do a twrp restore, only restore data and system. I repeat do not restore EFS! this will brick the efs structure that contains the imei etc.
So yes you can use ur old backup. but do not restore the efs as it will brick the protected folders ur serial etc hides.
Root isn't hard. Dont pay 40$, just check out the thread on how to root the VS995, the process to get twrp IS ROOTING it really, once its got twrp you just flash a rooted rom and bennifit. The hardest part is unlocking the bootloader and getting twrp, the rest is just wiping data and installing a zip.
you can do it bro!
I wanted to flash a custom rom so needed to backup my efs partation....tried imei efs backup app in playstore it dont work and tried few more appa it game me the same result....So i was thinking abt it and them open my root browser and there was no efs folder (i my samsung mobile i had an efs folder ) so i came to an conclusion that it has some different partation ...so is there any way to backup phone's efs partation
Tnx in adv
I guess you had posted the same question earlier too. Well the answer is the same. Use the twrp by @ oadam11 ( g4.oadam11.com/twrp/ ) It has the option of backing up efs!!
That didnt work sir

So how can you backup EFS/IMEI on Moto G4 then? You can't? Or it's included in a system or system_image backup?

You can't and you don't need. Just flash a custom ROM and you'll see.
take a look here, maybe this could help you.

I'm digging through the guides and Q&A and whatnot but I just don't seem to be finding exactly what it is I'm looking for. Can someone point me to a guide that will work in rooting an Axon 7 A2017U 0B32. I am not interesting in unlocking the bootloader but only desire to install AdAway. I found 1 thread that seems to explain it but there is no recent links to files for the new B32 update and was hoping their may be a different method that makes that irrelevant.
Thanks
Unlock then root.

And by all means, DO NOT RELOCK (unless the phone is COMPLETELY stock, i.e. stock recovery, stock system without having been tampered with)

ok so you do have to unlock the bootloader regardless then? Whats a good guide on here thats sure to work with B32 or maybe a guide that explains how to properly use that Axon TookKit, I looked at the sticky for it but its better described for listing features.
Well I ended up getting it to work with the Toolkit by:
1. Unlocking Device
2. Installing Drivers
3. Flash TWRP
4. Unlock Device
Now my question is in reference to the APP+DATA Backup I took with the ToolKit, If I restore that backup is the Root preserved with just my APPS and Data including Call logs, Contacts, SMS etc restored? Or does that restore set my phone to exactly how it was before the root (Loosing the root)?

The only way you'll lose root that way is if you restore a system backup
