Camera Problem - Xiaomi Mi A1 Questions & Answers

After updating to Oreo, camera app opens with double tap of power button..No matter how hard i tried to find an option to disable this feature. i couldnt find such an option..
FYI, i didn't have this feature enabled when running Nougat.
Any help please??? it starts getting on my nerves because i open the camera accidentally quite often and starts getting on my nerves..
Thank you in advance..

In the settings, search for gestures, the option will be listed there.

Settings>System>Language & Input>Advanced>Jump to camera

Disabling double tap home button of several Lollipop ROMs?

As many of you know the double tap home button is a special feature to launch the camera of many roms.
I don't use this feature. I only use the home button to get to the home screen. The problem here is that the phones has to wait for the second click every time. I think the lag is ~200ms.
How can i disable this? It's so annoying for me, the phone feels sluggish because of this feature.
Go to camera and then go to settings and disable quick launch

Thank you but there is no option for that in the Note 3/4 camera. But i already installed the s6 camera and even that didn't fix the lag. I just want to get rid of the stupid waitstait. =(

[Q] menu button and nearby devices

hi there,
1. i notice that since my S5 which had LP installed, on S7e i cant use the menu button for menu actions cause it is always forces the recent app screen, when i use xda app on my S7e i cant seem to reply or add a new message because isted of showing me the menu of the thread if i press menu button it goes to recent or if i try to press a little longer it give me a notice that xda app does not support multy window.
no matter what i try i cant seem to use the button as menu. and i cant seem to find in settings how to turn it off or at least turn of multy window which will probably will help to use menu button as menu.
/ found a solution for that problem....its called multy window toggle for samsung from play store. stops the annoying multy window.
for the google now that keeps popping on home button just need to uninstall google app and force it to factory app and it wont pop by pressing home button.
2. also on my older S5 with LP i had the option to share media with my ADB streamer via nearby devices in the settings menu. once i open the nearby devices i had few option on which file to share and to which device. but now in the S7e i have the nearby devices but i cant seem to share media with my streamer no more, plus i dont see any option to share media except the on off button and small explanation text about the nearby thing.
for this issue i still didnt find any solution.
both S5 and S7e are stock, my S5 is rooted tho.
can anyone enlighten me about this. maybe i just missed something about both issues ?
thanks for helpers

What I mean is that, it actually disappeared on the settings. I don't know what's wrong. I recently review all the things I've done but still nothing. Also I tried reflashing my Stock ROM, still nothing works..

How to unlock phone with fingerprint scanner on Microsoft launcher On Oreo?

I have just loaded up Microsoft Launcher and set up my home screens just the way I need them and find that I can no longer use the fingerprint scanner when I turn off my phone by the power button or by the default double tap.
I like the launcher, but I really want to get the fingerprint unlock working again. I have tried to go to Settings > Security and Location > Device Admin Apps and have turned off MS Launcher there. I disabled double tap to turn off gesture. It didn't change anything.
There must be a way to fix this... I don't care about double tap. I use the power button to turn off the phone... I just want to be able to use this launcher and open with fingerprint.
I am not rooted but I have Magisk loaded. I am on Oreo 8.0 on Mi A1.
Can anyone give me some guidance on how to fix this. There doesn't seem to be much info online elsewhere about this. Surely I am not the only person unhappy with this.

How to disable notch (front camera) acting as power button?

I don't know at which time this got activated, maybe its a "feature" of the CarHD mod I am using, but its so annoying and I cant find how to disable it. I googled it, searched it here and in the phone menu, but no luck. Taping the front camera notch locks the phone, and holding it brings up the power menu. Its so useless and annoying, because I press it by mistake and lock my phone. The actual power button is much more easy to press. Anyone has the same issue? Have you found how to disable it?
Thanks in advance.
There would be an option in the carhd rom control app, perhaps in the status at section
