[T380] How can I enable OEM unlock with ADB command? - Samsung Galaxy Tab A series Questions & Answers

Now I get stuck.
I can't find Enable OEM Unlock option in Developer Section. I want to root the tablet so I can adjust the screen color temperature.
I remember there's an ADB command to enable, but now I can't find it.
How can I do it? Or should I return it?

[Q] Regarding OTG Adapter

Hello guys,
I've some serious issues with my nexus 7. My screen is working but touch is not reacting. In other words I can't bypass a welcome screen(screen where I am choosing a language etc) I bought OTG adapter and tried to connect a mouse to it but it didnt work. So here is my question. Is it possible to connect a mouse or keyboard to work in this welcome screen or I have to set it up first (note that it's not possible due to my screen's condition) What I am trying to achieve is turn on debugging in order to unroot my device which is still under warranty.
Either you can learn ADB commands, or get Wugfresh's Nexus Tool Kit.
It can flash the stock ROM, unroot and lock with a few clicks.

I have Wugfresh's Nexus Tool Kit. But OEM Lock requires ADB turned on
Anyone?
You use fastboot to OEM lock, not ADB.

Hold Power + Volume down to reboot into bootloader
Advanced Utilities > Launch CMD > "fastboot oem lock".

Bootloader unlocking not possible

Hi,
i'm facing the Problem that "unlocking the oem bootloader is not allowed". Now i recognized the "allow oem bootloader unlocking" option in developer options is unset, and i'm not able to set it because it asks for a PIN. Am i the only one with this problem? How can i unlock Bootloader / Install TWRP?
I got the international Version of Z1.
Thanks!
bibear
disable the pin and then try it again, i can also recommend to root the phone via Kingroot and then modify the aboot image. link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z1/help/guide-unlock-bootloader-zuk-z1-wiping-t3251801

You can get your unlock code from the Motorola website: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-a
As the website mentions, this will void the rest of your warranty once your device is unlocked, though there are reports on XDA of people getting their devices serviced even after a bootloader unlock. Your experience may vary.
Also, I'd recommend toggling OEM unlock on - you can get to this by going into Settings > About Phone, and tapping 7 times on the build number section. Go back to the main Settings menu and you should see Developer Options has appeared. Go into the Developer Options and scroll to OEM unlocking, and toggle it on before you boot to unlock your bootloader.
So the method would be:
1 - Toggle OEM unlock in the Developers Options
2 - Follow the Motorola website instructions to unlock your bootloader
3 - Wait whilst it wipes your data
4 - Boot and enjoy your unlocked phone
Good luck!

You need to check your driver to recognize the device. With the command "fastboot devices" there you should see your devices serial number. If not = driver, cable, firewall problem or your device is not in fastboot mode

No OEM unlock ?

Why am I not seeing OEM Unlock option inside Developer Options?
Is it only me or everyone is the same?

How to enable OEM Unlock option?
Does an one got answer for this? Same problem here
That step is not needed. OEM unlock toggle was not available, neither in Oreo nor on Pie. Just enable USB debugging and you are good to go

fortnite

I seen the recommendation is to turn USB debugging and OEM lock off under developer options to play fortnite on our device with magisk. What I was wondering is with my bootloader unlocked, which it is, I can uncheck OEM lock, but would it be okay after a reboot? I just didn't want to uncheck it, and then get stuck or not be able to boot. I was curious if someone might have tried already. Thx
By the way for anyone wanting to know, I turned OEM unlock off w/ a unlocked bootloader & device successfully booted up with switch still in off position.
