P10 Lite stuck at "Your device is booting now" - Huawei P10 Lite Questions & Answers

I've installed TWRP for the first time on my Huawei P10 lite, after i noticed the SD card was encrypted, i read somewhere to do a Factory Reset to fix the problem, anyway i did it and my phone started boot looping.
So i've tried flashing some boot/system/recovery/cust .IMG files found on the web, but now my phone is stucked at the boot screen:
"Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted. Your device is booting now". I can't do anything, i can only enter recovery mode.
Of course trying to reinstall the default firmware i lost TWRP, but i think i can install it back if it's needed.
I also think i've not downloaded the correct Update.APP files, but i can't find the correct files for my model: WAS-LX1A.
What's the correct way to restore everything? I'm lost...

Can't flash any recovery

I've unlocked the bootloader and flashed the Revolution Recovery B9, but I can't mount 'data' , so I modified the partition into F2FS and then formatted it. After that I couldn't enter to system, so I used three buttons to recovery the stock firmware. Now I can't reflash the TWRP and I can't add any goggle account.
What should I do?
Thanks before
What version p9 lite vns- ??
What do you want to install as firmware?
Info. If you wanted to be helped, helped too.
Hi,
have similar issue.
Bought P9Lite, originally on Vodafone UK/IE. VNS-L31C02B120.
Flashed B432 ROM which was OK, although changed to C900. Then I flashed something which was posted as UPDATE.APP. I thought it's an update, but then saw the size, was about 32MB. Since then it boots into Huawei eRecovery, which is uselless as it connect via Wi-Fi but does nothing. I can boot into fastboot/Recovery mode but thats it.
Tried flash Vodafone ROM but it stuck at 5%, no matter what I try to flash. The last when it booted still showed the Vodafone start up logo.
Any help appreciated...
Bootloader locked, no root.
1) Disconnect and power off.
2) Put a stock rom (UPDATE.APP) on SD card in folder dload and put it in the phone. If you have not, create folder "dload"
3) Hold down all 3 hardware buttons for cca. 10 second (Volume+ AND Volume- AND Power) until the phone enters EMUI system update mode and stars update from the SD card.
4) Phone will reboot and you have OS

How do I unbrick a bricked P9Lite with a locked bootloader and without USB debugging?

Greetings all,
I recently got a P9 Lite but I bricked it trying to install a newer firmware on it (tried to go from 6.0 to 7.0). I've read various unbricking guides over the past two days but to no avail. I'd like to know what my options are at this point and if it is possible to unbrick it and bring it back to a usable state even if on a different rom.
How I got here:
The firmware that came with my phone was L23C605B120. I tried to update it to L23C605B362 and downloaded 2 zips (update.zip and update_data_full_VNS-L23_hw_la.zip). I unzipped update.zip into the dload folder of my sdcard and updated it via the dialer. The update installed and my device rebooted but now to this bootloop state.
What I can do:
If booting up normally, I end up in Huawei's erecovery. I can also boot to recovery mode where I can either "Wipe data/factory reset" or "Wipe cache partition". I can boot to fastboot & rescue mode but it says my phone and frp are locked. When pushing all three buttons I can boot to where the phone will attempt to update with the dload folder in the sd card again.
Stuff I have tried:
In erecovery when I select "download latest version and recovery", I can connect to my wifi but it always fails at "Getting package info failed". In recovery mode the factory reset fails and I don't think wiping the cache partition did anything meaningful. In fastboot & rescue mode it tells me to open HiSuite where there is a recover option but clicking it says "Your device is not supported for system recovery". I can see my device using fastboot on my computer but it seems almost useless here since its useful commands fail with "command not allowed" probably because my bootloader is locked. On my computer I installed the USB drivers adb needs and rebooted but adb cannot see my device presumably because I hadn't enabled USB debugging prior to getting bricked. At this point I'm downloading different roms to my sdcard and trying to flash with the 3 buttons method but pretty much all of them fail at 5% or 7% including the rom with the same version that my phone came with. The only one that doesn't fail at 5% or 7% is the rom I tried to flash that bricked my phone which fails at 99%.
So I cannot flash TWRP because my bootloader is locked, I cannot unlock my bootloader because adb cannot see my device, adb cannot see my device because I probably never enabled USB debugging and I cannot enable USB debugging because I cannot boot to the OS. At this point my only option seems to be trying to flash a working rom with my sdcard but I have yet to find one that works.
Where should I go from here and what are my options at this point? Is there a specific rom I should be looking for? Is there some intermediate downgrade rom I have to flash or is there a way to undo the update I just did? Is there a way to somehow enable USB debugging or to unlock my bootloader without it (perhaps via an exploit)?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Bootloader locks itself, can't restore via fastboot

Hi,
recently my friend asked me wether I can look at her P8 Lite which wasn't working after beeing left unused for some time. Basically when she got a new phone this P8 was left in box for a few months and after turning it back on the screen included in attachment appeared. https://imgur.com/a/WcvNByN I'm not new when it comes to unlocking bootloaders and all that stuff as I was doing it many times on another devices so I tought it will be easy job. Well, was I wrong... What I tried so far to recover this phone:
1) I obtained all necesary data to get the bootloader unlock code from Huawei. When I want to unlock the bootloader it works but after I reboot the device it goes back to "Locked" state.
2) It does not boot to recovery with buttons combination.
3) It does boot to fastboot but as I said bootloader locks itself down after reboot.
4) I tried to place UPDATE.APP from various firmweares on SD card and update it that way, it takes extremly long but with this metod it boots to some kind of MIUI recovery in which I have 3 options: wipe cache, wipe data/factory reset, rebboot system. Depending on firmweare it allows me to wpie cache or/and wipe data but reboot system always fails taking me back to this rescue mode screen.
5) Finally I tried to flash stock rom by extracting files from UPDATE.APP via fastboot. It flashes everything except recovery and boot which gives me fastboot error: "FAILED (remote: flash write prim vrl failure)". Interestingly I can flash TWRP recovery without error but when i try to access it whit buttons combination it fails and goes to rescue mode.
Device was stock and unrooted before this. I'm kind of out of ideas, I searched a lot of topics without any conlusion on this, if anyone could help me I wolud really appreciate this. However I think there is no hope for this phone maybe someone here would be able to help.

Oh no... You should contact Huawei and don't tell them that you tried to unlock the bootloader. Your phone may have a thing named "Huawei eRecovery". Launch it, it will download and flash stock ROM.

That option works only in China . I guess

I had the same error on my Huawei P8 Lite 2017 but I broke it myself.
The only way I was able to fix it by not taking it to a store was to use DC Phoenix, but it costs 20 euros for a 3 day license.
It was worth it though, since it did first of all lock the bootloader again, and it bootlooped at first but then I went to eRecovery and it installed the latest update and booted up.

What am I doing wrong with flashing?

Hi folks. I have tried to upgrade the android release of a rooted P9 Lite phone.
(It had the 50%-to-1%-in-1-minute battery issue so I thought this would cure it)
Anyway, the working phone had vns-L22c636b120 installed.
So my faulty logic told me to go to update.highcloud.com site and download a full-ota image that started with the same letters, except with an image ending in something higher than 120. I downloaded the VNS-L22C636B384.
I did some fastboot flash operations on the phone, namely boot, system, cache and eventually recovery and recovery2, all flashes went fine, but the phone got stuck at "your phone is booting now". Only fastboot kept working. No recovery booted.
Eventually the phone accepted vns-L22c636b130 image and it now works.
My general question is: If I wanted to upgrade a Huawei phone's android version, what would I need to flash it with, and how? Obviously I am doing something wrong since the phone ends up stuck at the "Your phone is now booting" stage, if I pick anything with a higher number.
PS: During this flashing, I had no access to the recovery, therefore I was unable to 'wipe cache/dalvik' maybe that I was my problem. fastboot erase .... gave permission errors so I couldn't use that either.
Many thanks, -t

Can boot into twrp but cant boot to OS

Hi,
I am on p8 lite 2017 PRA LX1
I have succesfully flashed twrp however I cannot boot into my OS. When I boot normally it loops twice then takes me to huawei eRecovery where I just get an error if I attempt to install the updates from it. or I can boot into fastboot normally.
How can I fix this? Do I need to flash a new OS? Also I want to get magisk on my device via sd card since I dont already have the zip file on my internal storage. Will it work fine considering I cant boot to my home screen?
Many thanks
