As the title says, mobile data stopped working on my S4. Everything was fine until it wasn't. I have tried flashing the ROM again (official Lineage), tried other ROMs too but with no success. I have network, can send and receive texts and calls, Wi-Fi works too, everything works besides mobile data. Also tried cleaning the SIM and the contacts.
Any ideas?

I haven't actually tried the stock one because I'm afraid I'll lose my root and recovery and stuff. And it's very strange because it stopped working all of a sudden. I'm yet to try my SIM on another phone though.

If everything works with a stock ROM, then you'll know that it's a software issue which is easier to deal with.

Hello to erveryone,
since my last firmware update (over kies) i´ve got sincere camera issues on my G 900 I running Android 4.4.2.
As you can see it does have problems with colors and ghosting as well as it heavyly laggs.
When in turn HDR on/ off or change mode it seems to work normally again for some seconds and then crashes bag.
What i tried yet:
Upgrade to Android 5.0:
Camera works but Device does not store Wireless Passwords, so this cant be the solution yet
Try other Camera Apps, whipe cache, stop app
No difference at all.
Factory reset
No difference
Does anyone of you have any ideas or the same problem?

Try flashing the latest stock ROM for your model S5 from sammobile & use ODIN to flash it, then factory reset the new ROM

I tried that. But then my Wifi does not store any passwords.
Is it possible that all these problems are caused by wrong modem?
This is a SM G900I and im using a modem for a G900F (ANG2, KERNEL_G900FXXU1ANG2).
Unfortunately I dont know where to get the latest modem for the G900I.
As well my LTE is not working here in Germany.
If you get a stock ROM from sammobile dot com for your exact model S5, you should get the correct modem and everything designed for that S5

Okay, I did that. Within this step I upgraded to Android 5.0. My device did not store a single Wifi password, but the camera worked fine. Flashing back to stock 4.4.2 Wifi works fine, but the camera is broken!
Any Idea?
Sounds like Samsung need to fix some bugs
Maybe try a custom ROM, that way if you encounter any problems, you have direct contact with the dev to try and get it fixed

I've switched back to Touchwiz for the camera after having cyanogenmod on the phone.
Now it seems like a catastrophe - WIFI won't work with some roms (specifically touchwiz, and now touchwiz wont even boot) while making and receiving calls and texts won't work with lolipop or with cyanogenmod.
I've wiped totally in recovery before installing anything to ensure no issues, but I am at my wits end, about to buy an iPhone tomorrow because I need a reliable phone for business.
Any advice on what I might do? I have the I337M version (rogers)

Be sure you're flashing the correct ROM for your device. If it is correct, flash the ROM again, and your issues should be solved.

I've attempted to flash the correct cyanogenmod multiple times, and even tried official ROMS - I've even gone as far as doing an emergency touchwiz install both through ODIN and KIES - no luck
Not CyanogenMod, but stock. Flash it twice, if you haven't already done so. And make sure the stock ROM is the one for your device.

If all else fails, Odin back to stock.
Give the lollipop Google play edition rom a try, it's been rock solid for me and many others. I will say that for whatever reason, I was never able to get WiFi working in the hyperdrive rom (since rls19) I tried changing modems and what not, but switching to a different rom worked workout issue. Try golden eye rom or one of the others from iB.

Will try other ROMS. I've attempted to ODIN back to 4.2.2 but wifi is not working even with clean wipe.
Hello! I have problem with my phone. I was on Cyanogenmod, but then i wanted to flash that resurection rom or whatever its called. Booted it up, but there was very weak or no network. Then I decided to reflash stock rom. On the first time there was no signal too, but reflashed again and everything was ok. I remembered that Touchwiz is unusable and flashed again CM. On the first moment, signal was ok, but after while it started to lag. Yesterday flashed back the stock rom, and for that moment everything was ok. Waked up this morning, and what do i see?? Yes, there it`s again. Weeak or no signal. Emergency calls only.
I checked that my IMEI is not changed. Have reflashed modem with odin, sometimes thinked that it was working, but reception keeps bad. Is anyone having same issue? Maybe you can tell me how to fix this and help me?
Actual signal in my house and everywhere is good, but all problems started when I wiped all data and flashed resurection rom or whatever.
Did you check proper support for the rom? Some roms in development(like one of the versions of the CM for the a300fu don't have properly working wifi

Wifi is working well, but anyone else using this rom isn`t complaining about anything
Hey all.. I picked up an Edge plus (T-Mobile 928T-unlocked) with Nougart 7.0 and it worked fine. I rooted it and installed the Miui rom but it kept having issues so I wiped it and installed the Note 7 xxu from here, it installed fine and all works EXCEPT phone calls. It dials number ok but then nothing happens. I tried to go to several other roms (version 6.0 and 7.0) but same issue.. Im guessing its a kernel issues??? How can I clean everything and do a factory fresh install - will that solve it? Thanks
