What error do you get? I've returned to stock many times on Mac and pc. Flash all from the stock software files should do everything that needs to be done. I always fastball -w before and after return to stock as well.

I am trying to install recovery which I was holding out on, but it doesnt look like we are getting a new recovery any time soon so I am just going to do it.
Problem. When I try to flash recovery with fastboot it says.

did you extract the recovery image to that folder? is the file name you typed exactly the same as what it's actually named?

i haven't even flashed a recovery yet lol. I just remembered that those were the two common mistakes people made when doing it on the Hero.
I've got an issue where I get "error: device not found" when in fastboot trying to flash a recovery...so that's annoying....

Do you have HTC Sync installed for the usb drivers? That fixed that problem for me. Other things you can try is to plug the phone into a different usb port. Sometimes if the phone is plugged in and you reboot it the computer will ignore it. Normally I have not had a problem if I can use adb I can use fastboot.

Make sure you are using the correct port number (and you are using CMD in the right folder), of course drivers etc too; ended up being the wrong port number I kept putting in for me and took 2x for it to finally work (froze first time).
I did have the same problem, try writing -p COM3 instead of -p 3.
Make sure the phone is visible from adb in Windows and type: adb reboot edl, then use the dump tool.

Don't try to update the bootloader or the partition table (GPT). Skip those commands. The flash will work fine.

Yes flash worked but,
Problems I'm facing,
1. Whenever I restart device, It starts in bootloader and then I have to press start.
2. Because of the above issue, System Updates are are not being installed.(14-4 build is installing again and again)
3. Wifi and Hotspot is not working.(cannot connect to any WiFi network and others cannot see my hotspot)

For 1) you could try:
Boot your device into the bootloader.
Connect your device to your computer
In the adb terminal, type 'fastboot oem fb_mode_clear' without the quotes. This should clear the booting to fastboot.
Reboot and test.
As for a stock June firmware, we'll have to wait for Motorola to build the firmware (and then for a way to 'acquire' it)

Hi, this is my first post on XDA. Excuse me if it isn´t very well made, Im writting this very quickly :c
I have an Axon7 (China version) and I flashed the U.S Version, however I lost my mobile network (ATT) signal and got a ¨No service¨text.
I flashed lineage OS to check if that would help me, flashed the universal bootloader and got it working, but I still had the no service error.
I decided to go back to stock nougat so I used Xiamiflash to try to flash the B19 firmware, it flashed succesfully but when I tried to turn it on I noticed my phone would get stock in Factory Test Mode, I flashed it succesfully but my phone wouln´t turn on, it gets stuck in a red Led and a black screen, i cant even get it to EDL mode :c
Please help.EDIT: I got my phone back on, I don´t know how, But I still have no service, I will create another Thread

You need to reboot your PC to Driver Enforcing mode if that happens.
Can you elaborate on what you mean by "refuses to detect it"?

Maybe it's time you tried a clean reset. The IMEI is unlikely to be wiped anymore...if you don't do anything drastic.
I would suggest you try MiFlash with the B19-NOUGAT_TWRP (Nougat 7.1.1) package from this thread, then flash the stock ROM afterward in TWRP.
I have a problem with flashing twrp...When i try to flashi it odin gets to recovery.img and it is just standing there...a bar on my phone apears but nothing happens...:crying::crying:

Your trying to flash the wrong recovery or your method is wrong.
Go to developer options in settings and enable USB debugging if you havent already.
Make sure you have the right files and be sure the file is .tar and not .IMG
.IMG files are used to update twrp through twrp itself and .tar files are for Odin.
Connect the phone to the computer and open Odin.
Make sure to turn off auto reboot in Odin you will see a little checkbox on the left hand side.
Click on ap and locate the twrp file and flash.
Take the battery out of the phone.
Make sure you boot to recovery (vol up, power and home buttons)and do not turn on your phone yet or you will have to start all over.
Once your in twrp swipe to allow modifications then just reboot and that's it

And you definitely have USB debugging and OEM unlock enabled in developer options?
Other than that all I can think of is your computer/laptop might be at fault.
