Hi guyz, I'm wondering is it possible since it's the same processor, to port android from KW88 watch?
Newest released version is from the end of 2017 and in d5+ it's end of 2016. My friend have this smartwatch and I must say, it runs more smoothly, even with less RAM, menu is just cool, and bt calling works as well. Can anyone help me with port? I've already flashed kw88 system on my d5+, so i think that this is possible, but the thing is that for now on bluetooth not working, screen is rotated 180 degrees and touchscreen works oppositionaly to the pressed place. So when you need to push down button you must tap on the top. I hope that some of hackers from here will be able to help . Cheers
Does anyone can help with this?

Has anyone obtained this apparently little-known watch?
I'm not sure it's made by UWatch, even though some places claim it is, and the model name follows their pattern.
But it has some interesting characteristics that blend the U8, U8 Pro and U10 together:
- it can act as a phone, with a SIM, but only through an additional (included) magnetic "SIM shell" that makes the watch a little thicker; without it, it's very thin, less than 9mm
- a detachable shell is also used for USB charging
- it has a compass like the U10, but maybe no barometer/altimeter like the U8 has, since a seller told me so, even though some specs listing suggest otherwise
- the screen is a whopping 320x320 resolution 1.56" IPS (the U8 is 128x128 TN and the U10 is 240x240)
- the battery is quite large, 360mAh, with a claimed life of 10 days (!)
- the CPU is a newer MTK2502C, though I'm not sure it runs Mediatek's Linkit like some other newer watches (there is no hint that you can install apps)
- of course, there are the usual stopwatch, step counter, sleep monitor, and so on
It is around €55, but it can only be obtained from China, I found no European reseller.
If anyone has it (or has found detailed reviews):
- does it run Linkit? Can Linkit apps be installed (through, for instance, the MediaTek SmartDevice app)?
- does it have motion gestures (for instance, does it turn on when you rotate your wrist towards you)?
- is the battery life up to promises?
- is the software solid or buggy?
- any other highlights?
I ordered one of these after I tried and was pleasantly surpised with an u8 clone(...).
There very basic if you compare them with say samsung gear s2 which runs Android and is over 330€ up here. I would rather use the word "robust". With sandby time of nearly 10 days! Thats standby offcours.
The u8 and u11 seem to use the same Nucleus os.
And though the u11 is better in every aspect it still lacks a animated and interactive notification system that Android smartwatches have.
Nonetheless one can do more with Nucleus devices then meets the eye. Its just not an open os where you can just install apps on the fly. Android devices seem to need more power especialy xburst which runs a fair amount higher in clock.
But Nucleus is also more capable then the current roms used on these smart watches.
I have yet to recieve the u11, but from what I have read it will suffice my needs for the moment.
Though I have to be honest that I do not like the U8's battery life at all. It's just ridiculously short when bluetooth is on all the time. The u11 does come with bt4.0 and the battery is bigger but it also has a faster cpu, uses gsm(if activated) and has a bigger(IPS)and higher res screen. Time will tell what the inpact is on battery life. Not much info is on the net right now.
Anyway, its a nice watch with an original design(..) an better build then the u8. Using metal alloy opossed to plastic for the case, better strap, tweaked interface with two themes, nicer clock faces etc.. and I realy like the modular design to keep the watch slim.
Hopefully someone will tweak and customize some U11 roms here at xda

Does anyone have the u11 rom ? I corrupted something on mine by installing an app. Now it's stuck on the clock. Touchscreen works... it still connects to my paired phone but I can't navigate the menus.
Can't help you. I still have to recieve it but
what do you mean with you installed an app?

Long story short, many notifications did not work. Facebook, Messenger, Gmail to name a few.
I tried different apps on my Galaxy S6 and ended up with a totally incompatible app that tried to install something on the watch and corrupted something.
Thats interresting. Maybe add what app so we dont make
the same mistake again.
Did you try to reset the watch?
I mean reset not restart. There should be small hole
( the one thats not the mic) which you can use to reset the
device by puching a needle gently in there. Just make sure
its not the mic!
Mediatek Smartdevice should work.. ?
It's actually Mediatek Smart Device that messed up my watch.
I didn't find a reset button. Disconnected the battery and reconnected it with still the same result. I left the battery disconnected and I'll try gain in a few days.
I dont think removing the battery will reset the device. Flash ram isn't power dependant.
Maybe the manual can tell where or if there is an reset button?
There is no reset button. I did reset the ram via the Flashtool and I still can't access the menus. The clock did revert back to the default one.
I will need somebody to make a backup of his u11 firmware and post it !
Got mine today. Sadly I ordered Black and gotten a Gray color item. :-/ (don't buy at banggood, they will send random color when there stocks are low) Not to happy.
Anyways.
First impression is good. Metal case, in my case, Gray silver..
Battery wasn' t charged so I could not test it right away
but after a small charge it booted, silently, into clock mode.
The screen is nice at 320p. Clockface is analog which I switched
to digital for no specific reasson. Theres two faces of each, all just fine.
Two themes for menu. Menu is nicely organized with features that
matter easy to access. Much better then the U8 if I may compare.
Notification system is also much better. with a preview of the
sms or other notification that arrives. Longer notifs are clear and cripst to
read on the 320p screen. Which pops on when an notif arrives or when you lift your arm in the right direction. Very usable indeed though shaking would be better.
Every app is nicely tweaked. And the added compass works fine.
Very nice watch and very slim. Obviously adding the gsm module will add a few milimeters. Still have to test this though.
If I get around a pc I will upload the rom for those who want it or just incase. But lets see for an update first.
Misses:
A notif has an menu when swiping from the right. When a large email arrives and you want to access the menu(open, delete, block) the watch may freez.
You dont really need the menu that badly but when it locks, just press the side button for approx. 12 sec. and reboot. No biggy but unfortinute. edit; A long press on an item in the list also pop's upp the menu which works fine.
The vibrator is somewhat to loud. It makes more noice then the alarm sound(in low volume). Sadly no way of turning it down. Turn it off at the cinema or you'll get popcorned!
No Calc! This is a smartwatch, right?
Screen could be a little less bright in the dark. Although a amoled would have been great its a nice ips screen. But a lower setting would be nice.
So did you find a way to make a copy of the firmware?
Thanks
No I have not. I dont have an pc availible. I did try
it on my W10 tablet but W10 isnt beeing very likable.
Can you share the program you used, with drivers, then
I will give it an other try. Also did you use the cable that
came in the box to flash the watch?
My table did not recognize the device. Could be the OTG,
the cable or just plain old W10
I used the cable provided. But I had to use an older laptop running Windows XP. Wouldn't work on my W10 laptop.
I am currently in a moving phaze, so I dont think I can help you right now.
All my stuff is tight up.
Maybe a virtual machine with xp on a w10 tablet/pc will work...
If somebody else can jump in here? I see what I can do here. No promises though.

Hello everyone!!
I was hoping to have some guidance and/or advices as far as MTK2502C development goes, most acurately the KingWear KW18 Smartwatch.
Let me explain,
Looking for a better and more updated firmware I flashed the official one from this page:
http://www.king-wear.com/download (KW18_UI2_B_V1_20161128) the "B" options seams to be multilingual in most of the official firmware sites I found, and this is supposed to be the manufacturators official website of my watch, however, when I turn on the watch after flashing, I'm having some display issues, seems that the display is not lined up and I have a white/colorful (Like TV noise) at the bottom of the display where the soft action/virtual buttoms should be. And the touch screen seems to be misaligned too, since to select an option I have to select the one is right below to actually trigger the option I desire. The rest seems to work fine, Bluetooth, Pedometer, Heart Rate, etc, all of that is working fince.
Does anyone know what cause this? Is it a hardware issue? Is it something I can configure on the scatter file?
I also tried to flash the No 1 G3 latest firmware, since I saw G3 and KW18 have pretty much the same specs and the G3 have a much nicer overall ROM visuals and UI, but when I turn on the watch after the flashing, the display doesn't turn on or responds, but if a click the On/Off hardware button on the side, the watch actually makes a bip sound, telling me that the watch actually works, the G3 firmware went through and I'm supposedly turning on and off the screen but it's just that the display doesn't light up, no image, no light not even super deemed, anything, just unresponsive black screen.
Any idea of what could be happening? Is the KW18 not compatible with the No 1 G3 firmware? I honestly do not know.
I made a back up before flashing anything and after each flashing error I have to go back to the stock KW18. It's ok, but I'd like to have a nicer User Interface. The official site shows "supposedly" real pictures of the product and the firmware showed ther looks upgrated to the one I have. Still trying to update through the Mediatek Smart Device or the FundoWear App shows that I'm running the "latest firmware". I and recall watching a video on Youtube where a guy was making a Review of a Smartwatch pretty similar to the KW18 and the watchface showed up the weather and the virtual action buttons where blue and not orange. Watch faces also look more useful and cooler.
I finally got tired of googling for a Official/Custom Rom for the KingWear KW18. The only MTK2502C development I've seen so far is for the IWO watch which has a squared display. I don't think it could work on the KW18 round display, but I don't know for sure.
If anyone have a Custom firmware or a more recent update for the KW18, or point me in the right direction to where to get it, would be espectacular and deeply apprecieated it.
Thanks for your attention. I hope someone could help.

How do you made your smartwatch backup? and what steps did you follow to upgrade the KW18?

None of them worked for me. There were misplaced UI issues in the three.

I used the Universal ReadBack Extractor from Golem_
Original post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sm.../readback-extractor-mtk6260-firmware-t3289272
I made a backup from the original firmware, (the one that came pre-installed), and install it back when none of the original firmware versions from KingsWear worked for me. All of them gave me screen misplaced UI issues. I googled a bit more and discovered that the K18 I had was some sort of prototype and that's why I had a lot of issues with the official firmwares from KingsWear. :\
It doesn't matter anymore. The is one of the most common problems when buying this type of chinese devices. If you pay more for other devices, you're ensuring everything will work as expected 99.99% of the time.
To fix my problem let's say I didn't keep the KW18 and I bought a First class smart watch with a cute Apple Logo on the back.
If you have the money and believe on the recommendations and user rating, then go for a more expensive, better-designed device.
Works better than a charm.
Firmware KW18
You placed that you had backed up the Clock before updating it, exactly the same happened to me with my KW18, but the problem I have that does not support the Firmware and I could not recover it. You would be so kind as to send me the original firmware to my email [email protected] I would be eternally grateful. From already thank you very much.

Hello everyone!
I recently bought a car, second-hand semi-new (Coccinelle Cabrio 2017 13.000km).
The car was equipped with this Android unit, and before the problems arise I naively thought it was the default autoradio from manufacturer.
Here are the specs :
Processor Type
UltraOcta-T8
Android Version
7.1.2
MCU Version
5.3.10-98-13-E56201-170921
System Version
V9.2.2_20180703.135630_KBT8-FD

My problems are :
- radio is quite weak and not sounding clear at all, maybe 3/5. A bit a noise behind.
- main issue : after a few minutes listening to music (on a USB stick, or from the phone via Bluetooth) : the unit simply crashes! And then it restarts with difficulties, and crash again and again and again until I else remove the audio source (=disconnect USB or bluetooth) or reset it the hard way pressing the "reset switch". That is super annoying and I'm afraid the unit sucks all my battery overnight if not properly switched off and rebooting in loop.
I'm afraid the unit is faulty, in this case I probablt couldn't do much as it was surely installed by the previous owner and I can't find him (purchased the car in a garage)
Any ideas of what can cause such issues? And how to fix these?
Before taking hard measures, maybe someone can share the latest links in order to update my unit softwares/firmwares ?
I managed to update it with the above versions using some links found on this forum, but probably not the latest ones.
Thank you very much for your help, that is very much appreciated!
Im not familiar at all with such technology, I've been learning a lot the hard-way lately, but decided to post on here as I can't fix it myself with my limited knowledge.
Have a good day!
Hi everyone.
I just got Pie update on my J7 NXT 2017, everything was going fine but after completion of update touch screen of my phone stopped working.
After watching many videos on YouTube i was able to downgrade my phone & touch started working again.
I've replaced my display once, many people posted on google regarding this issue on Chinese displays.
One UI really looks pleasant, is there any way to make my screen work with Android pie ?
Thank you.
Unfortunately theres no way to make it work, unless if you have luck to replace again with the original or a fake that does work
Hy Me too, i use lcd part 3rd not original
My device j7 core iam from indonesia iam rollback to android oreo 8.1
If i update to 9 (pie) touchscreen R.I.P not function
So xda please help me fix i want update to pie because iam interested darkmode fiture
Thanks.
Forget the Android Update 9 pin Because many of the roms Is not compatible with the possibility of non-original screen If you want to change the screen to original or Try This TUR-J730FXWS4BSD1-20190415124120 ROM 8 If it does not work, Insha'Allah will work with you screen
I have a j7 Core and same thing happened to me yesterday. Now I also have a replaced Lcd. Is this because of it alone? Does this not happen with people with original LCD's?

That won't happen with original amoled panels because Samsung does OEM display check.
Hello Everyone,
Thanks for showing Interest and for helping me in finding a solution.
So i got an Android 10 Head unit for my Astra J it`s some Chinese Brand... worked pretty well but since i updated it to the newest firmware
the touch is reversed, the screen is showing normal (Portrait mode) but the touch is Y-Achsis swaped so top is bottom vise versa.
is there any way of fixing this ?
i looked around and found a fix for this problem:
Dial *#2663# in the dialer and update the thouch screen penal firmware by selecting 'TSP FW update (General)' button.
But this does not work for me cuz the Headunit got a Custom rom wich does not have a dialer.
Thank you and have a great day
