Sync is currently experiencing problem, is the message im getting.
Im using rr latest with beansgapp updated by jleeblanch and google activities are working other than sync.
What can be the issue?

After flashing JT's rom (his latest one) my fb sync stopped working. I flashed the other rom (beta magic) hoping it would fix it and it still doesnt work

I believe that is a common and known issue. I don't think there is a fix yet.

iv just done a full wipe and updated everything running cyanmod 6.1 and all google apps updates, and gmail wil not auto sync! apparently people are reporting problems that started nov 2nd

Just installed 6.1 and everything us working fine. Not a Google problem I'm afraid.

I updated to Nougat and now Gmail will not sync automatically. I have to swipe down in the app to get it to sync. All sync setting are turned on and I have tried disabling and force stopping the app as well as multiple reboots and nothing seems to be fixing the problem. Is this a known issue with the update? Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks

I had the Gmail syncing issue about 6-8 months ago and it eventually worked itself out after a couple of months. I think clearing play services might have helped. So far I haven't had the issue on 7.0. I have noticed a lot more activity over on the Google product forums in the last few days though with new reports of the problem again. Nougat OTA overwrote my Gmail app, including preferences. I just had to turn on syncing in the app again.

Anyone having Gmail sync issues? I normally would get them when emails are sent but lately I have to manually refresh the app just to get them.
I use the inbox app and haven't had any issues. I never really was a fan of the gmail app

Eveey other stuff is syncing properly, it's just gmail who doesn't.
Sync in account section and in gmail app is on. I was previously using beans gapp updated by jleeblanch and now using open gapps(25-1-18) and rr rom. Idk if its only me or other have this but my work is pending due to this issue.
