Like him i have the same problem, and i don't see any partitions at all, nothing appears when i plug mi phone
Hello!
As title says i bricked my Axon :crying:
I followed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68738854&postcount=100 (and the german one that linked to this one) but couldnt do the fastboot unlock.
So i couldnt finish this and my phone required a pin number to start android: bootet and started up but wanted a pin code to start/enter system.
Wasnt able to fix that with googling for answers so i went back to edl mode and rewrote my backup boot/recovery images with axon7backup.
Had no errors with that but it wont start now:
After the ZTE Logo the display goes black but it connects as "handset diagnostic interface (DFU) (ComX)" to my computer.
I fiddled around with driver installing etc and forced the HS-USB QDLoader 9008 on it but no luck, axon7backup/root can not connect.
When i did the actual flashing yesterday it never connected with the hold both vol-keys and connect usb way either, always had to reboot into edl via adb.
I cant boot anything else (no twrp/recovery) it just goes to the diagnostic interface mode.
Thanks in advance
you can try to get into adb mode with this:
- power off your device
- hold the vol down key while plugin in the usb-c cable (connected to your pc)
- keep holding
- you should get a white box with FTM factory test mode
- you are free to use adb again - so you can get into edl mode as well....
for pin part that'S normal while unlocking your device encryption gets deleted and you have to abort and factory reset your device in twrp....

Thanks. I tried it but it wont go to FTM. Only goes to diagnostic com port.
It seems i cant even turn it off. The little red light on the front is on the whole time .
sadly the disadvantage of a built in battery, so you have to wait till the battery is empty and try my instructions then....if it's not realy off it won't work, the mode you are currently in you usually only reach if you switch it on while holding both volume buttons, the edl mode is sadly not reachable with a key combination directly on G models.
adb don't show your device?

Oh ok. I expected ftm to work from vol-down and power-button till restart.
@adb: sadly no connection possible since it goes straight to Comport Connection.
Edit:
Couldnt make that work. It was off and i connected the usb. So it showed me the loading battery picture where i cant do anything. held the vol-down the whole time. But as soon as it had some battery it went straight to comport-connection again
im sorry to say, but ur device is bricked to a degree where you would need ZTEs Flashtool to fix it. Unfortunately we dont have that tool, so you might have to send it in
i have the same exact problem :'(
Have u been able to fix it?? I'm in a situation that i cant even send it to ZTE to fix it :'(

Hi,
couldnt fix it myself so i had to send it in.
Unless some tool/rom was released in the last few months to fix it yourself i would guess your device is bricked.
Hi I have almost the same problem, I tried to unlock bootloader and now I don't have the recovery, I can boot and use my mobile but I can't restore it or update it because I don't have the recovery
I try whit axon7tool to restore the recovery but I got a error.

Hi, do you have any idea, if there will be such a flashtool to work with DFU mode? I'm thinking that there are a lot of guys have bricked their devices (including me).
((
Well, today, I flash a wrong firmware on my RN3 pro RR 5.8.3, unlock unofficially and get brick. No fastboot, No recovery, long press power button only brought splash screen for a second then screen goes black again. When stick to PC only red led blinking, on Device manager show Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 900E so no Miflash.
Okay after a whole morning, I found this method here http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=266598&highlight=900e.. I tried method 3 from that thread because the other are just unreadable. So here is the step:
1. Plug the phone to PC - Red led blinking
2. Hold both 3 button: Volume up, Volume Down, Power button for around 10s. Phone vibrate and show the Linux Penguin Icon (Qualcom mode)
3. Check in Device manager/Port , it show other (unfortunately not the 9008 as in the thread). I check with Miflash Phone is recognize but i Cant flash any thing
4. SO i tried using this method here (step 4 ) https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69613342&postcount=3 and get into EDL mode with 9008 port. Voila!
Optional
5. Then I flash this TWRP and unlock officially from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/unlock-unofficially-install-zcx-twrp-t3586778 and the beast is up again ! :highfive:
So i post this here to help anyone stuck in EDL mode and dont have a DFC or dont want to use test point method.
hope this help .
Thanks for sharing.
I already have deep flash cable (btw I made it myself, it is easy) and I have used it some times... But it is good if u don't have the cable!!
Regards!
Thanks a lot for this small post, it saved me from throwing this phone out of the window.
I could update MIUI using fastboot EDL, weirdely enough you cannot update official MIUI without unlocking the bootloader... WTF xiaomi
Saved my ass man thank you i got a real headache from all the failed attempts but u did the job.
my Redmi 4 no response. wat I do now.
when I connect usb cable to phone to pc it's show direct edl mode or Qualcomm Snapdragon 9008 is connected in port .
so what happened it?
wat I do now pls help me.
After installing all the drivers and the flash tool the most important step is to boot the phone into edl mode or 9008 port which is very tricky step
STEPS:-
1. Power off the phone completely.
2. Press the volume up button for almost 15 sec without leaving press the power button for .5 sec (don't leave the volume button).
3. Again press the power button and hold it and immediately put the cable into the pc .
(note:- these time two buttons are pressed power button and the volume up button which was pressed in step two)
4. Leave both buttons when you receive the connection sound on the pc and check in the device manager now you connected to
the 9008 port instead of the 900E port.
(note:- step 4 can be symbolizes as you will get zuk logo flashed for a split of second after connecting the cable to the pc and
after that whole screen will be black and then after leave all the buttons and flash the phone with qpst)

Press the power button for long time about 15-20sec until notification led gose off
Additional, some bricked devices may stuck in 900E mode, just keep on pressing in power botton and your device will reboot(screen may still be black, u must stare at the display of mode of your QFIL tool) .After rebooting some times(8∽9 times normally), your device will force boot into 9008 mode (you have to release the botton in a very short time or retry above lol) .
This method isnt from me and just tested on my phone succeefull .Hope helpful to someone.
Zuk Z2 Pro Stuck in EDL HS-USB 9008 Port and automatically connecting and disconnect
Hi,
My Zuk Z2 Pro is stuck in EDL 9008 Port. Phone is totally bricked and no sound, no light, no vibration. When i connect with the computer, phone is connecting on HS USB 9008 port and get disconnected after 20-22 seconds and again automatically connected with in half second time.
I am facing this issue after flashing a ZUI 1.9 by using a QPAST/QFIL application. I think i have made stupid mistake by flashing a phone with "ERASE ALL BEFORE DOWNLOAD" option.
I have tried every scenario to get stable this 9008 port but no luck. Since last 5 days i am studying forums and applying every kind of solution but same result.
I am writing this post with high expectations and hope someone will take notice and help me to get rid of this problem.
I can pay through paypal if someone wants to provide professional services to resolve this matter
I will appreciate if someone have any idea and can help me. Thanks

The Problem is resolved. I charged my battery 7-8 Hours and flashing done at first attempt. My phone was stuck in EDL mode and Port 9008 was continues connecting /disconnecting and i was not able to complete a flashing process. Flashing by using Qfil really sucked a battery. So if someone face such kind of issue, please charge your battery for 7-8 Hours and then try flashing.

Hi internet,
I obviously need help. I accidently bricked my 6T again and it seems to be permenant. I tried to used the MSMdownloadtool but the tool can't detect the device. And the device is in a Qualcomm CrashDump Mode. It shows Attempted to kill init! exit code=0x0000000b do_exit. I got to go but is there a way to fix this.

You can restore you device using fastboot rom. Search for oos 6t fastboot rom.. There are guides for installation.
P.S. It will give a whole bunch of error in the cmd during installation but don't interrupt the process as your device will be restored in the end
Use Mnm tool to fix your phone. It can fix hard brick devices and guidance is there how to use .
PS: this is not right place post next time post on Q/A section.
Hold all the buttons down till it shuts off, almost a full minute. Then get it to boot to fastboot, power off. Then start up msm, then while phone is unplugged and off, hold both vol buttons for a 4 count, then plug it in. Msm will day connected, hit start. Let it finish and reboot. that's all
Qualcomm crashdump is not the same as download mode, and will not work with MSM. You still need to put your device manually into download mode.

Hold down every button till it shuts off, then force reboot to bootloader, then select power off to make sure it's off. Then do as I instructed above to fix it. Sometimes u can just run a fastboot rom to fix it, or boot twrp and flash a rom. I do this multiple times a day sometimes.

Thanks everyone who replied. The whole thing started when I tried to update my TWRP the wrong way and I got nothing better to do. I was on 3.2.3-1 and the newest on the website (TWRP) was 3.2.3-2, but I flashed the image instead, into vendor. This got me into the Qualcomm CrashDump Mode and it kept on rebooting to it as well. There was no way that I was be able to use the MSMDownload tool to recover my 6T as the tool couldn't detect my device as it was connected as Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 900E not Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008.
I pressed all the buttons and got into FASTBOOT mode! Then I booted TWRP, luckily all my stuff isn't corrupted and I did a Nandroid backup beforehand as well. So, I just restored my Nandroid backup and voila I got my 6T back. Thanks again everyone

If your using windows search for device manager to see what your device is being detected as. Try and reboot if your device isn't Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008. Once it shows that try and update the driver, but you'll need to be a admin. Have you installed Oneplus USB Drivers?

Help I can not get in to fastboot mode. Im stuck in Crashdump mode. Even when i power off the phone holding powerbutton down for a while it will powerup again and the unlocked bootloader warning window with "press power key to pause boot" will not react to any presses.
Also booting and holding down power+down will result in the same and go to crashdump mode.
