I am trying to find the "official" rom for SM-T810 so I can install it via TWRP. There are a few links floating around that require you to purchase a membership to download. Pretty redicuous. I don't have much interest in providing a credit card to yet another internet entity for the one time to download software they didn't even write. Does anyone have a link to samsung directly for the software or some other non-pay source?
Thanks!
Sammobile only requires that you create a free login to download (at a pretty slow download rate though). High speed download requires to to pay for membership.
What is the link for the ROM on sammobile?
go to www.sammobile.com, create a login for yourself and then click on Firmware. Then put your model number in, and select your country to get the firmwares. Normally only the latest is available for download.

Great advice Dmarchant. :highfive:
That's exactly what I do.
Just to warn anyone trying it, the 'throttled' free download may take a couple of hours so make sure you have a stable internet connection.
Updato.com
They have some here https://www.theandroidsoul.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-s2-firmware/
i use the same one as ashyx said. fw.updato.com this one is free and blazing fast.
Just compared Sammobile with Updato.com and Sammobile has a later release for the UK (as well as the one offered by Updato). It looks like theandroidsoul also has the later version (Sept / Oct 2017) - T810XXU2DQI6

Not true.

Sorry, my bad - I expected the firmwares to be listed in release date order rather than randomly. Didn't look far enough down the list to find the latest release.

Hello everyone..
I have the problem with updating software. Right now on my phone is 4.4.4. and I would like to update the software to the latest official. Through Software Update option on phone it says "Unable to download software", and through KIES that this is the latest software. Can you tell me what should I do to update sw through ODIN? Should I firstly root the phone, and in case I need, can you give me the links to all files, and for root and for sw?
heres the sw version https://postimg.org/image/q2hd7sb5h/
You don't necessarily need root to flash the latest software. I would however, flash a custom recovery to backup your data just in case.
You will lose all your data if you decide to flash marshmallow onto your phone through odin.
To flash it, download marshmallow from https://samsung-firmware.org/model/SM-N910F/
Select the appropriate firmware and download it, it'll take about 8 hours to download it, you can't really get a faster download anywhere else sadly.
Download Samsung USB drivers from https://androidmtk.com/download-samsung-usb-drivers
Once downloaded, open up odin and click on "AP", select the firmware you just downloaded.
Boot up your device in download mode Power + Vol Down + Home
Plug it in, and let ODIN recognize your device
Simply click on start and wait for to complete. You'll know it's complete when you'll see a green "pass" on the top left.
You now have marshmallow!
Okay, now i see that software depends from region. Actually, phone was buyed on aliexpress, does i need to know for which country the phone was intended or i should just download the software for country i am living?

It shouldn't really matter, just select the snapdragon software if your phone uses a snapdragon processor.

yes, agree with earlier reply...
you don't need to follow region. just download based on your phone model (I saw is N910F from your screenshot)....
choose the latest for N910F. and you are good to go.
but, my personal reference is......
choose the one without the provider....
because the one with the provider (e.g : Poland (Orange))... this one will give you the telco provider apps as well, which might not use for you.
Remember to backup your contact, your whatsapp, your sms, or whatever u need to backup.
Cheers,
WJ

As you said, I have done.. Everything went fine, now im running marshmallow.. Just the downloading from samsung-firmware was so boooooring. I couldnt wait so ive paid 7days membership, and even then, only from mirrored link was possible do download correctly. Via first link, two times downloaded only 1gb and then interrupted. However, now when it is finished im pleased with the performance.
P.S. Can you direct me to any links where is described GPS hardware on note 4? I am pretty sure I have some hardware failure with gps. With both software, and kitkat and marshmallow, GPS programs shows only 10-15 visible satellites, but none in use (Used to wait and to 20minutes to connect, no results).

I'm not sure if this will help at all, i've never had this issue but there seems to be a few solutions on this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/galaxynote...e_4_gps_problems_possible_solution_helped_me/
I bought Samsung Galaxy S4 in 2013 back when it was a flagship device, it came installed with Android Jellybean, almost 4 years have passed and it is still stuck at Jellybean. Since then, it didn't got a single update.
I'm not sure what is the latest update for S4 because the updates pushed by Samsung never reach my phone and that is because of baseband version. Other S4's have got quite a few updates till now. In fact, I updated my friend's S4 to Lollipop and my own S4 is stuck at Jellybean.
I visited Samsung website and found that they release updates only for some baseband versions of S4 and that list didn't contain the baseband version of my S4 so it is forever stuck at 4.2.2. Samsung Customer Care says go to service center, they will update your phone manually. I said why should I when I got a flagship phone, it should get updates OTA.
Because my S4 didn't get any update, the same thing must have happened with many other ones and will probably happen with S8 due to launch in 2017. Many of those S8s will never receive any single update.
So is it possible that baseband version can be changed and I switch to the one that gets update? There is always an option to flash a custom ROM but if I get an official update to Lollipop, I will be happy.
Before the Samsung update reaches your phone it has to pass through the carrier's hands first, where they add their crappy bloat.
In other words, if there's no update, then it's probably your carrier's fault.
You could update manually with Odin.

I am from India so no system of carrier here.
Umm, you guys in India have cellular networks. Those are the aforementioned carriers. They may not add any bloat, but they do have to test the updates first before releasing them to the devices. This is to ensure the update doesn't cause unwanted problems on the network. However, we're heading into 2017, and after all this time you should have received an update to Android 5.0.1. So let's verify that you have a model intended for India. Please enter download mode and read off the model number at the top left corner of the screen.
Changing the baseband will not automatically get you a ROM update. If you want an updated ROM for your phone, I suggest updating to the latest bootloader and modem, flash TWRP, and then flash a custom ROM.

Here is the correct firmware version of my device: sammobile.com/firmwares/download/14242/I9500XXUAMDK_I9500ODDAMDK_INU
Sam Mobile is not displaying Android version, if you look at sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-I9500/INU, my device PDA and CSC versions are second from last. But if you look at other S4s in the same list, most of them got Android 5.0.1 so can't I just download any one of them and flash it using Odin?
You're looking on the wrong page. Individual ROM pages do not display the Android version, but the full list does, where that information is applicable. In your case, the ROM you linked to doesn't have a version number, but also happens to be the ROM originally on the device, based upon the PDA and CSC. Check here. Not only does it tell you the version, but tells you the date it was posted. The one you want will be at the top of the list, as it's the latest available for your device.

I also posted the same link as yours, just scroll to the very bottom, there are 2 entries that doesn't display the Android version and one of them is mine - second from last. The PDA and CSC matches my device.
PDA - I9500XXUAMDK
CSC - I9500ODDAMDK
Well, you might want to reread my post, as I edited it while you were typing.
Anyway, in post 6, this is the link you provided: sammobile.com/firmwares/download/14242/I9500XXUAMDK_I9500ODDAMDK_INU
This is mine: sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-I9500/INU/
Big difference.
The link you provided takes you directly to that particular ROM. The link I provided takes you to every ROM available for that device using the CSC of INU. Based upon your opening post, you're looking to update to the latest ROM. However, you are getting hung up because the ROM you currently have on your device doesn't have a date. It doesn't matter how old your ROM is! The latest version for your device will always be at the top of the database page, i.e. the link I provided in post 7. Thus, as of this moment, the ROM you want is here. Download it, flash it via Odin, and you're done.

I've downloaded firmware from the link you provided, flashed it via ODIN and now my S4 is successfully running 5.0.1, thanks a lot! Need one more help from you - I didn't perform factory reset, I directly flashed the firmware and now only 2 things have changed on my phone - root status and android version. Root is now gone and that's what I wanted, Android version has also changed but all my files, data and apps are same; no single app got deleted, all are exactly same as before so do I need to perform a factory reset and wipe cache?
If you haven't encountered any bugs or app crashes, I don't think a factory reset is needed.
Hi. I installed a custom firmware and then rooted. Then I installed what I thought to be the stock firmware but now since unrooting it says my device has been modified and it doesn't let me get updates, so I suppose I must've installed a version that doesn't match my country.
Kies 3 is apparently incompatible with my device and SmartSwitch doesn't have the option anymore. with SamFirm it asks me for the Region which my phone says is PHE (Spain) but I doubt it is because I'm from Portugal. Is it possible that the firmware I installed changed the CSC code? (the original, firmware, and active all say it's PHE) Phone is not locked to any carrier btw. How do I go about getting the correct original firmware?
Thanks

Hey idk, you can download odin 3.x which is a flashing utility for Samsung devices and then go @ https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-j3/SM-J320FN
Download the firmware for Portugal (has 3 carriers) or download the standard EUR carrier free firmware and flash it via odin.. Please lookup a relevant thread on how to flash if you aren't familiar with this yet.
Sorry im not walking you through it, its new for me writing on the app...

I've already done that. that's not my issue. my issue is knowing what is the correct stock firmware that came with the phone, since the CSC code says it's from another country. and if all the CSC all match the same country then from what I've read it should give me OTA updates already
also you have to pay to download on that website (even after registering)

Hi, wondering if someone has a copy of this rom that can upload or know a place where I can download.
The rom full name is PCT-G935FXXS1DQHS-20170915103031.zip, is the latest official Nougat stock rom for the S7 Edge for Claro Puerto Rico from August 2017. I have found a few places in Google to download, but all or them have restrictions (max download size 2Gb, rom is 2.5Gb), are slow (40kb/s, which eventually stop after a few hours) or can't download unless I pay.
If someone can upload it to Mega I can leave a mirror copy of it on my account so others can download as well for some time.
Many thanks
This is the link for the Sammobile rom:
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s7-edge/SM-G935F/PCT/download/G935FXXS1DQHS/189046/
Don't have a premium account , tried to download several times but it always errors at some time and have to restart again.
Use Sam Firmware tool to get your rom.

Hi!
Does anyone know where I can find the T387AAUCS3CUD1 stock ROM? I'm trying to fix a unit that I may have messed up by tinkering with custom ROMs.
Anyone?
Still nothing?
Hi also searching high and low for T387AAUCS3CUD1.
Any success finding it?
Samsung Galaxy Tab A (T387AA) - Software Update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (T387AA) - AT&T
Get Samsung Galaxy Tab A (T387AA) support for the topic: Software Update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (T387AA). Find more step-by-step device tutorials on att.com.
www.att.com
ATT is worthless - no support. OTA Android 8 won't update to Android 10. Says already current.
No luck yet :-(
Still no luck.
Someone recently gave me a SM-T387AA, came across this thread while looking for the latest firmware for the device. It does appear that T387AAUCS3CUD1 is the latest for the AA version, which I also was unable to locate. (probably because ATT uses their own servers for firmware instead of samsung) However, while searching, I also came across a newer version of firmware for SM-T387W.
Specifically:
AP VERSION T387WVLS3CVK2
CSC VERSION T387WOYV3CVK2
CSC VTR (Canada)
ANDROID VERSION Q(Android 10)
SIZE 2.62 GB Full Files
MD5 d3b07faf990e6b33b55f5f39839799e4
BUILD DATE 20221114152111
SECURITY PATCH LEVEL 2022-06-01
To my surprise, I flashed the 387W firmware on my 387AA with ODIN and everything seems to be working just fine. Still can't unlock my bootloader though. I see there's also a 387R4 variant. I might try that next, and will report back if I do.
Would this not though prevent a user from being able to use it on AT&T?

I popped in an ATT sim and calls/txt appear to be working.
Oh interesting, I wonder what the difference between the two firmware versions are then?

I used Bifrost. It can pull the latest firmware for most samsung devices that are hosted on samsung servers. Type in the model, "SM-T387W" and the CSC, "VTR", check for update and then download.
