I Made A Little Comparison Between Mi5s and Nexus 5x Camera With HDR+
In Day Both Are So Much A Like But In Night Mi5s Image Are Much Better
i also put some samples without HDR
there is a HDR sample taken with Footej Camera that is really sharp too :good:
i used MGC-5.1.018_FullManual_v1.4a for taking HDR+ pictures with mi5s and for Nexus 5x is stock GC
and here is my config for mi5s HDR+
Model: Nexus 6p
HDR parameters : Super High

I did a camera comparison video between the Pixel XL and the Nexus 6p. Tested for all kinds of shooting scenarios for both photos and videos. I think we know who the clear winner is

I'll add more as I take them but feel free to discuss. All photos were taken with HDR on and at max resolution allowed.

I am having an issue with the G5 plus camera. When I zoom in with my G5 Plus and my father's redmi 4, my father's redmi 4 tends to take sharper images. For example the photo below, the photo in which you can read the text is taken from the redmi 4 while the photo in which you cannot read the text is taken from G5 Plus. Both images were taken in auto mode with HDR off and even from the same distance.
I think my G5 Plus is not able to focus distant objects!
So my question is does all G5 plus have struggle focusing distant object or is it my G5 plus only?

Hi all,
The Moto G5 plus has a rear camera of f/1.7 with 12 MP where as the best camera of Google pixel 2 has f/1.8 with 12.2 MP.
My question is it possible to install the Google AI software, algorithm and coding in the Moto G5 plus? If possible, how? If not, then, what will be the best camera app to use in Moto G5 plus? As the specs are pretty same but the coding, algorithm and software difference is a big deal. May be with the same camera of the G5 plus will take excellent photos using the Google AI software.
May be Im asking question like a fool but because I wanted too know.
In the comparing videos and reviews between Pixel 2 and galaxy S9 I have understood that the google camera software is a special one. With the google algorithm a smartphone may not need two cameras and lower aperture too. The lower aperture of f/2.4 with 8 MB of Pixel 2 does not stop taking best shots than any other phones because of the software. Where as the Moto G5 front camera has f/2.2 with 5 MB. But there are other factors like shutter speed, dual pixel etc. but I want to install the camera app in Pixel into G5 plus.
Can not post the links of specs as Im as new member.
Just install pixel ported camera app by arnova to get better photos nd portrait photos from your moto g5 plus.
First you need to flash a 64bit rom
Because google camera doesnt work on 32bit
And install google camera the ported one by arnova or other version.
Hey guys, I've been using the 6 GB variant for a while now and everything is good but the video stabilization is abysmal, both with GCAM and the stock app. The EIS stutter is prominent and makes the video almost unusable even when shot outdoors. The RN5P in contrast has excellent video stabilization. This just hurts me.
Because the stabilization is gyroscope based on both devices, I was wondering if we could port the the RN5P camera app to our phone. Or even that of the MI A2 will do I guess?
