One of the gold plated pin in the sim slot for my Galaxy S II broke, too bad its the real small one that is covered. I am having a hard time finding a replacement for sale anywhere on the internet.
I looked at gsm4world.us without luck. I think the best chance is to buy the one from the original Galaxy S: http://www.gsm4world.us/samsung-i9000-galaxy-s-oem-sim-card-slot-flex-cable-d-03610_615.html which should fit, but faces the wrong way, then I can resolder it myself, though I'm not good at soldering and would need to buy the tool.
(Phone is not under warranty and I wouldn't want to wait 2 weeks (or so I'm guessing) and incur high cost just to repair a cheap part.)
Let this be a warning for all of you that have microSIM card like I do. I use this tray holder which is hard to insert: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-Micro-Sim...y-Holder-iPhone-4-4G-USA-Seller-/250907522599 and I guess as I removed it, it takes the pin with it.
Ordered that sim slot, but simply don't want to wait due to being shipped from china. Sent it to Samsung for a replacement for $75. It only takes less than 1minute to replace the part, but sim slot seem to be almost rare on ebay.
Hey Forum,
So a friend of mine recently gave me his Samsung Galaxy S4, and I realized that the Simcard tray is jammed/broken. I found online that it is fairly simple and cheap to replace, but I had some concerns. The phone was originally from Canada, and locked to Rogers (model number SGH-1337m), and I am currently in America using t-mobile's services. Does it matter which replacement simcard/SD card tray I purchase, or is there a specific one that I have to get?
I was looking to just buy any generic Samsung Galaxy S4 Sim/SD tray replacement off eBay to fix this most economically.
Thanks in advance!
As far as I know, the SIM card are all the same regardless of country, but you are in the wrong forum. This one is for the S4 Active.

Hey guys,
Whether you have the phone purchased outright or subsidised on a plan from your service provider - did you receive your box SEALED by LG at all? If yes, please advise how or what it was sealed with (sticker?) or if it looked opened and re-sealed (eg: tape).
If no, please comment where you purchased from. My last 6 phones have been from Samsung...and from what I'm hearing which I'm yet to confirm, is LG don't have a seal on their G4 box. Or does it vary by model/location? It shouldn't, but i don't know. Please SHARE your experience.
Thanks!

I got mine from Vodafone when I prolonged my contract and the box was originally sealed with a label
Bell, Canada. Sealed with a transparent-circular sticker.
Mine yes, the guy on the store opened it right in front of me. Was brand new phones, i got it on release day in my country. The seal is this one btw:

Thanks! Appreciate that.
I'm beginning to believe it depends on where the G4 model is sourced from...whether it be direct from LG, checked and re-sealed by a carrier or a 3rd party, or not sealed at all.
My story is for dual sim H818P model. JadoPado (in UAE) are a retailer who advise their "supplier" (not direct from LG) don't have seals (or broken ones, for that matter) on them. So my one is without I actually expected this to be the same everywhere, especially if buying outright - ie ONE standard brand-name seal...but it's not the case!

I got mine from tropical mobile. It had a sticker but there was glue from a previous sticker that had been removed.
My Verizon model came with no seal.
Amazon us had two clear circles. I do think what you get is regional.
Also in the US I know best buy and sprint will sell opened phones. They have opened new phones right in front of me to show me a feature ( the best buy demo did not have the leather back so the guy opened a new one for me). I also rejected an opened phone once and left the store...
Yes straight from lg

Bought from T-Mobile, no seal.
From Sprint - Sealed on both sides of the box.
I bought mine sim free from Carphone Warehouse with no seal. I thought it was really unusual, there was no evidence that the box had ever been sealed. First phone I've ever bought that didn't have a seal.

same verizon just comes in box without seal
I picked up 3 of them through US Cellular and all 3 had those clear circular pieces of tape on them
815 TW version from seller on Amazon. Long rectangular seal.
I bought my Euro H815 from Handtec.co.uk. No seal.
I had previously purchased an H815T from NeverMSRP and that one was sealed.
So I bought the phone off eBay for my sisters birthday . We got the phone today and we tired to put her sim in the phone but couldn't cause she had a micro SIM card and the note took a regular sized one. She went to her phone carrier store (MetroPCS) to get a SIM card and they told her it was locked. I don't really know all the details because I was at work at the tell and I'm just telling what I was told.
I bought the phone from here -> http://m.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-Galax...676960?varId=590905166198&txnId=1368967471019
The model of the Note you purchased is a sprint phone perhaps and the link you posted is for a note 5 not a note 4.
But I thought it was unlocked to work with any carrier
I checked your link it shows about note 4 16gb version. But i didn't hear about note 4 16gb model. And also note 4 has micro sim not regular one.
So what should I do?
Try to contact dealers and tell them or give it to local phone repair shop to unlock.
Bought an LG G6 in August of 2017,The Phone was purchased in Thailand but is a Hong Kong import, was told the warranty would still be for one year via an LG service centre.
Today I wanted to insert a new memory card, and the tray has came away inside, causing the sim not to be recognized?
Took it in to my local LG dealer and have said as phone is not a Thai model they will charge me for any repair(looking at forums its not an isolated incident).
Is there an International complaints line,as this is the second time I have took the tray out and was careful as always
