Someone knows any TV Remote controler compatible with the Treo Pro processor?
Thanks!
I have experience with Novii Remote on my old 700wx. It was a neat program - I loved the customization on it, but the range on the phone's infrared was horrible. I had to be within a meter of the television for it to operate, and it had to be DIRECT line of sight. Not worth the time.
I am curious though, I wonder if my Pro has a more powerful emitter....
more about Novii here: http://www.novii.tv/
Novii Remote is a rly great app, but doesnt works on palm pro
They says "Screen resolution unsuported" (something like that)
I never found a software that worked with TREO PRO. I tested a bunch of them but none worked for me. I also appreciate if someone could help on this.
all my tv's are run by computers... 'htpc's'... so in the past when i wanted to do this i used a bluetooth remote control plugin. worked well actually...but of course it wont help you with normal tv's.
Good day to u all
Was wondering if anyone knows of an app that lets us connect our TP2 by bluetooth to other devices and use it as a wireless keyboard? Like for example to a Playstation 3?
Thanks in advance

Try BlueInput for Broadcom. It's pricey, but I believe it'll work.
Does anyone know if an app exists that can "learn" IR codes from various remotes? By learn I mean you would point a remote toward the IR blaster on the N3 and hit various buttons, and the phone would learn each button in order to send the signal with its IR blaster.
I have a logitech remote that has gone to crap that had that functionality, but I don't even know if it's possible with the N3.
Anyone have any idea?
TIA!!

I don't believe it's possible. As I've read, that's a function of hardware and not something I'm aware an app or software can accomplish. My HTC One had that function but the S4 I had didn't.
Hi guys,
is it possible to use signal from ANT+ device in app that uses only bluetooth smart api? I mean emulate (translate?) or sth? (Im a real noob)
I have ANT+ HRM and would like to use it with micoach app (adidas sucks and isnt interested in adding ANT+ api to its app).
No. ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart are different wireless protocols, using different API's and different stacks (think WiFi vs. Bluetooth).
To allow an existing app that uses Bluetooth Smart to use an ANT+ device, you would have to replace the Bluetooth stack on your phone with one where you have changed it (not changing the API) so it uses the ANT+ stack and translates between ANT+ and Bluetooth packets and adds in info for Bluetooth advertising. Not a trivial task.

Thanks mate!
Has anyone had any success with the IRBlaster? I've tried the AnyMote app, but none of my devices have worked so far.
My Sony TV works just fine with the stock app.

Thanks. This is a dumb question, but what is the stock IR Blaster called? I can't find one.

The stock IR blaster app on the phone (called "Smart Controller") works fine without any problems with my Samsung Ultra HD Smart TV UE48HU7505XXE
Smart controller works on my Samsung UE55Fxyz, but you really have to point straight at the IR receiver.
But the selection of devices is extremely limited; no AVR at all for instance.
SmartControllers works Ok, but not perfectly
It works great on my philips tv ( no smart ), but it doesnt work very great with samsung tv
Has anyone got any other IR apps to work? I tried IR Universal Remote and couldn't get anything to work.
One User mentioned that Zaza remote works well.
In my case all buttons work well except the number buttons. They jump and have multiple presses.
So it is not possible for me to select, say Channel 451. The moment I press 4 for the first number, it auto presses 2 more times and I get 444. If I press 1, it will select 111.
I have a Sony TV
I've tried quite a lot of apps from the store but none works so far.
luckily the default apps work fine with my LG tv & satellite tv decoder
Hou van teach the stock app IR signaal so you van actually make every remote work.
Nopes, teaching the Smart Controller did not work. Infact since I have an Airtel STB which is not there in the default, I had to teach the remote in the first place to make it work partially
Has anyone tried Peel app? That worked well for IR remote on my Samsung S4

IR Transmitter?
Hi,
Can IR sensor record signals and then play back it (for remote controls that are not on app's list)
There was such feature in my previous m8, I think there should be an IR transceiver in device instead of IR Blaster (transceiver can send and receive, blaster only can send)
The stock app works great, especially the IR learning feature.
Here is a tip though, sometimes following the instructions (To hold down the remote button for 2 seconds) is not good enough.
I find that the best results come when you press the button on the remote rapidly, using this method, I have managed to copy 10+ remotes in my house without with all buttons working.
