How To Flash:
- Make sure that you are using the most up to date TWRP or any custom recovery
- Perform a FULL WIPE as described below if coming from another ROM or a different version of Android
(A full wipe is when you wipe the following partitions: System + Data + Cache + Dalvik ART Cache)
- Flash the latest version of the ROM
- Flash any of the recommended GAPPS linked below
- Flash Magisk / SuperSU if you want root.
- Reboot and you should be good. ENJOY!!
- To dirty flash updates, wipe System + Cache + Dalvik ART Cache then flash all the ROM, Gapps, Magisk etc.

The dev of franken ROM is working to fix this bug until then u can use slim recents or reboot your device when this bug appears in recents
The UI is very creative.
But MIUI is still the safer choice as daily driver in my opinion.
Will definitely bookmark this thread.
edit.\
The specs suite the device with MIUI more then the main Aosp Roms here is my impression tough.

What about battery ? Pie ROMs especially with 4.4 kernel seems to have very high battery drain.
@greatcoder
I put the firmware only for screenshots.
Other users gave feedback about low battery consumption, excellent sound, large customization settings.

It turned out that I was a little wrong.
Through the efforts of users on 4pda, the author has released a firmware update with fixes.
1. New kernel from AOSiP v 4.4.171
2. Fixed incorrect display of charge information on lockscreen when charging from USB port
3. Added display of the phone number to the subscriber who made the call
4. Slightly improved the stock dialer
5. Enabled call recording
6. Fixed determination of MTP mode
Not fixed:
- missing sound sms, it is recommended to replace the stock application with google sms app.
Download crDroid v5.1 Kernel 4.4 Pie 9.x Treble by @subhrajyotiSen
Quick news: after a few comments from users 4pda, the author made a small update with bug fixes quiet sound.
Changes: • fixed the low volume of the speaker and microphone
Download crDroid v5.1 05/02 - google drive

Bro there was status bar and nav bar issue in landscape mode in previous version ... Can you please confirm that is it fixed now or not
IDK
I have not met on 4pda posts on this issue. About the latest build users write that everything works as it should.
ps Sorry, but I myself do not use this firmware, as well as Zuk itself. My main phone is Nubia Z17S.
Good news again!
Update crDroid v5.1 Kernel 4.4 Pie 9.x Treble by SubhrajyotiSen
Important:
• Dev made this build like other ROM's developers make now their new builds with change vendor as factory
• So, before flash it, you need to flash vendor2factory.zip + new factory TWRP & then flash new crDroid build if you used Treble ROM with vendor partition
• Those users who came from ZUI, isn't necessary flash v2f file, just flash new TWRP
Changelog:
• Dev bring back Lineage kernel 4.4.153
• Offline charging works
• Stock sms app notification sound fixed
• Fixed mic & speaker volume
• Both speakers music play in removed
• Maybe something else...
Bugs:
• Network indicators still doesn't show up in statusbar
Download crDroid v5.1 from 12/02 - Yandex-Disk
Hey does anyone experienced lag in Notification tray? Like when expanding notifications.

Is there a recent or maintaned ROM like AOKP?

Hello,
I found this version: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...rom-aokp-rom-s4-i9505-oms-substratum-t3748163
However it seems not being maintained anymore.
Could someone suggest me a similar ROM with the following funcitons?. I want to have a Soft Key Navigation Bar (size changeable) and those customizations that come with AOKP (change DPI and so on). I also prefer 14.1. But as long as its AOKP (or similar) it would be fine.
Which official LOS versions do support a Soft Key Navigation? So far I tested LOS17 which has one but I could not find settings to make it smaller.
Well thanks a lot!

[HELP] [QUESTION] [RECOMMENDATIONS] Information on GSI ROMS

Hey guys. I've had my A20 (SM-A205F) since last September and rooted the stock ROM it the day I picked it up but I want to change to a GSI now.
Since then I've used :
-Stock ROM Android 9.0
-LineageOS 17 GSI
-Stock ROM Android 10 (Currently Active)
I wanted some info on migrating to an AOSP GSI with decent customization features. I stopped using the LOS 17 GSI after 1 day because it didn't have MTP support and also didn't have fingerprint gestures when you swiped down to open notification panel unlike in stock OneUI. (Yes I did check for apps to do the job but it seemed that the ROM just didn't have the capabilities.)
Seeing that you guys have used a bunch of GSI's I'm hoping you can recommend me one that has the features I'm looking for such as :
-Android 10 AOSP UI
-Fingerprint Gestures (Even if its just to pull down notification panel)
-Working MTP
-AlwaysOnDisplay
-Double Tap to Wake
-Usable with Magisk 20.4
-Ability to Change Recents with QuickSwitch
-Works well with curved corner displays (Status bar is not blocked in anyway)
I've taken a look at some video's on YouTube and it seems that EvolutionX and HavocOS are running the scene.
Your suggestions would be a great help. Thanks in advance :good:

Working MTP you can get by installing this kernel: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-a20/development/kernel-ripper-kernel-v1-0-t4020627 but required firmware is Android Pie, on Android Q have a bootloop

@physwizz Developers just ported Lineage Os 17.1 to the Galaxy A10 , do you think someone like developers of the Ultimate Q ROM's will be able to modify it for the A20 ?
