Hi,
I've ordered AXON 7 in Germany and updated it to Android 7.1
(Build ATE A2017GV1.2.0B08)
Call volume during a call is too low. I put the volume at the maximum but this is still a bit too low compared to my previous phones (Huawei Honor 9, Sony Xperia Z2).
Any idea ? Is there an upgrade to perform to solve this ? Or a feature to enable/disable ?
Thanks for your feedback,

I have bought an Xperia X10 about a month and a half from now, since day one(even with low in-call volume) i noticed little distortion. It was Build number 014 i guess.
When i updated my phone to R2BA026 the in-call volume increased so do the distortion. Distortion only exist when call volume is set to maximum( pretty noticeable ) and when i decease it one level distortion kinda disappear.
I'm wondering if anybody got the same problem or it's just my device? (so i can go and replace it at SE support center)
Sorry for my bad English.
I would say return it to where you bought it or SE service centre. Mine is fine even on full volume.
Good luck.
Just making sure, do you have the latest update? 026
you know they give in-call volume slight pump in this update

After flashing 026 version for about ten times, I have noticed that every time the in call volume has been different. Since last time I did it, I have been stucked with the lowest volume ever so there is something different even in flashing the same firmware over.
I hope the 2.1 will eventually fix this issue/
My phones ear piece volume is very low, i have no problem with speaker or headphones volume .
the volume is so low that if im not in a perfectly quite room i wont be able to hear anything.
I had earlier seen some post some where , it said i need to modify some value in build prop, the deafult 5 to 8 ,
i checked mine and it was 3, i tried modifying it and phone got systemui error and has to flash back the stock rom.
Any help would be appreciated
any one faced this problem n managed to fix it ?
it is dependent on :
-YOUR NETWORK quality
-SIGNAL intensity
-Your caller's network quality
-your callers hardware device (phone)
So it is really hard to tell.I have found it will get a little better with time (maybe just like speakers that get better after a few uses)
Unfortunately the earpiece in LG G2 is not of the highest quality at all (i have a ~5 year old Nokia N8 that sounds miles better and louder)
What you can try is to readjust your phone and push your phone as close as you can to the ear so it will better capture the sounds.
I’m facing a strange and annoying problem on my Xperia X compact with LineageOS 14.1 / Android 7.1.1… During phone calls the volume is too loud even on minimum volume level. When I decrease the volume with the volumebuttons I see that it should lower the volume, but the volume remains the same. In other words, it doesn’t matter to adjust the volume level. It’s the case for both normal phone calls and also when I switch to speaker during a call.
It looks like the volumelevel for minimum and maximum are the same.
I’ve been searching in mixer_paths.xml (yes, I’ve rooted my phone), but there is too much info and I can’t find the right setting. Does anyone know what I should change, that there will be a difference between minimum and maximum volume level?
In build.prop I’ve added a command to add more steps to the volume slider. Now I’ve 14 steps in case of 6, but the minimum and maximum volume level are still the same so the steps doesn’t take any effect.
Other volume settings are ok btw.
Yes, right now it seems not to be possible to change the volume during phone calls which is very annoying. All you can currently do is setting the phone call volume in advance. Maybe one can have a look at OmniRom's settings (which have weekly builds but the terrible Google launcher and no built-in root) to work this out.
Hello,
I've a Galaxy Note 4 SM-910C, Marshmallow 6.0.1, Official ROM N910CXXU1DPC1
For some time the system sounds are very low even am adjusting it to the max level. It's extremely annoying, especially when using GPS.
I've installed Ultimate Volume Booster without success
Is there any how to increase the sound level?
I'll appreciate any help
Regards
Try a factory reset .
If that does not work there must be something wrong with your speaker .
Note 4 has the loudest mono speaker I've ever heard on a smartphone .
Help after pie update the speaker has become bad
If I listen to music the sound volume is sometime low and sometime so loud even I didn't press the volume button
Is anyone have the same issue?
Ps
Sorry if my English is bad
yes, it´s a little issue with dolby Surround
same in TA-1039
Same here, sound quality is way better before the update. It's annoying especially on earphones.
