Substratum themes doesn't activate anymore - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

Hello guys, I don't know why but since yesterday I can't activate any substratum theme on my s8 on oreo.
I'm using AOSPUI BLACK for Samsung. I always had this running, and on oreo too. Andromeda is connected but the themes doesn't appear at substratum Manager and I'm going crazy.. What could that be?
I can't activate it or change the status of the overlay...

After installing theme, you must restart phone. If after that they should show up. If not, go into your installed theme and click on one of then, click button on and chang overlay state. They will show up after that in manager overlay

I search a calendar widget like this

Hi I search a nice looking calendar app like this one
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I want nearly exact this design(no with blue or other colours at the background), but I need some text, so I can see what I have to do at this day, without open the calendar.
It would be awesome if it's freeware but I couldn't find any.
Also it need to sync with Google calendar.
I hope you can help me,
Best regards bikerboy030

Pure Grid Calendar has a clear skin and also can have a full description of the event right in the widget.

Thanks for the fast reply. This is what I look for. But I would prefer a freeware,because I have no credit card ...and in German there are no coupons to buy...

[Q] Status Bar Modification

Hey everyone,
I love customising my phone.. every week it has a completely new look..
However, Now I want to mod my Status Bar.
It's currently default CM10 (Black with Blue Text), and I would love to be able to have it white with black text.
I know that I can probably modify SystemUI.apk (I already have the tools to modify it), but I'm not sure WHERE it needs editing to change the status bar colours.
Is there an app/online theme creator for JB which can easily help me (I already have framework.jar and SystemUI.apk decompiled).
The few theme creators online that I have found seem to be for lower android versions (2.1/2.2).
Thanks

I think you meant UOT Kitchen.
I have something similar I want to do, and I don't think UOT Kitchen will be able to help me.
The problem with those is that they just 'draw over' the status bar... With JB roms, the notification bar gets messed up.

The top half of the clock gets covered by them..

System bar lock

Hi,
I'm planning to buy a Nexus 4, but I would like to know if I can lock the system bar while playing games for avoid accidental touches like I can on my ASUS TF300T. I left a screenshot of my tablet with the system bar locked.
Thanks

As far as I know you can't do that on stock ROM. However, if you root your phone and install a custom ROM like Cyanogen Mod, you will be able to hide the navigation bar completely to have the full screen available while playing games. You can toggle this by long pressing the power button and then there will be an option for hiding the bar in the reboot menu.

Clocks don't sync up

The clock app has the actual time correct, but the status bar clock decided to stick at 1:02 and has been sitting there. Anybody have a solution? Because this is crazy that the phone can't even sync up its own clocks.

What happens after you reboot? Do they get back in sync?
Are you running Xposed and Greenify by any chance?
If so, disable the GCM Push option in the Experimental Settings.

After screen off or reboot they sync back up. It's strange. But if I'm doing something with the screen on for a while, the clock will stick until screen off

Hi guys.
Is there a way to delete this menu button on screen and open the menu over swipe up . So you got more space for widgets. Or to fix the position of this button so it don't go in the middle if I delete all other beside.
Hope you understand what i mean sry my bad English

On the stock Samsung launcher there isn't an option or a way to remove the app drawer button. If you would like to do that try a custom launcher, for example try nova launcher.
Well maybe XTouchWiz has an option for that. But that'd require you to have root and xposed. The alternative would be, as already mentioned, to use a third-party custom launcher like Nova where you can do stuff like that with gestures and therefore have more space.
