How to change font on LEX727 with stock ROM? - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

Hi guys!
I am in Stock Rom 5.8.021s with Root/ULB/TWRP and want to change the font. Are there any pack/ flash zip to do this or just take any app from Gplay that can do this? I am coming from MIUI (Redmi 3s) and thats apps does not work fine on MIUI (just one works fine) and sometime lead to bootloop, so EUI and MIUI look like same, I fear to get bootloop. So, any app work fine for changing Font?
Thank! Q:highfive:

I used Ifont on the Google Play store to change the font. It didn't change just the launcher.. everything on the phone almost changed to the font I chose.

Thank Bro! Work Nice!!!!
Thanks!

Use app "FontFix" from Playstore by JRummy. You will need root the app work very well if I want to change font I use it on all my phones.

What's the most readable font nowadays for old eyes? I maxed omnirom up to "largest" but some pages seem not to be using it.

I used to use ROM Toolbox, but it has become worse and worse imo. Changing fonts doesn`t work at all for me. Try iFont from Google Play to change fonts, works well for me.

I am having the same issue. I can't find any fonts that will work with my Samsung Note 3.
I had the same problem. The way I got around it was to install iFont, then extract the TTFs from the APKs of the fonts I want, put them into /sdcard/ifont/custom/, install the one you want to use in the custom tab of iFont, then finally go to Fonts in Settings and your chosen font should be there with "(iFont)" affixed to the end.
When you change your font in iFont again be sure to change to the default font then back to the custom one in order to apply it.
EDIT: Forgot to mention I had to buy the donation version of iFont because I don't have root.
All of the flipfonts I downloaded says they're not compatible.

Ifont, you want ifont from the play store. No root needed on the n9005
iFont on the Play Store is now compatible with the Note 3, I have used it successfully many times now.

No Root required... Completely Free App... No Donation required...
kellyslab (http://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Kelly+Slab) font amazes me... I will stick to it for sometime...
Cheers!
Yup, worked like a charm, tried setting a font, note3 rebooted and stuck in bootloop. awesome
for the root users - rom toolbox or font installer are able to install about any TTF font.
Thanks to all for suggesting iFont! This was annoying me, but now my N3 looks the way I want it to.
does anyone know the default font name for note 3? i changed it & now somehow not able to restore the detault font...

You can change the font style and font size on your device. To change the font settings, from the Home screen, touch Menu > Settings > Device > Font . Touch Font Style and choose Default font, Choco cooky, Cool jazz, Rosemary, or Samsung Sans. Touch Get fonts online to download new fonts from Samsung Apps.
Touch Font size and choose from Tiny up to Huge. When you select Huge, the font may be shown only in certain applications. In applications that cannot support Huge font size, Large font size will be used instead.
I installed iFont and tried to use Ubuntu font, and it says its not supported.

Change DPI Oneplus 2?

I´m root in my Oneplus Two, and downloaded texdroider_dpi and Root DPI Changer.
Neither works!!
I tried too change build.prop, but ro.sf.lcd_density or another density value don´t appears.
Any solution for change DPI in OP2?
Thanks!
Hey,
i use a flashable zip. Download it from here: http://www5.zippyshare.com/v/RvfbVEkr/file.html
to edit the DPI, open the .zip and go to folder tmp and edit the "misc" file with a text editor.
after this you can flash it trough recovery
Greetings

I´m newbie and I can´t post pictures yet, sorry.
But I seen a few mistakes in some apps, but I don´t know if problem of Oxygen OS or DPI.
Some apps like Solid Explorer or PocketCast get default Dark Theme.
That is, even if they are placed in Light theme in settings app , stay in dark theme and I can´t change this no way. This is case of Pocket Cast.
In Solid Explorer case, it stay in light theme, but text are in white and can´t read nothing. I must put the app in dark theme to use it .
It is all very strange .

I see no prob with 380 all apps work as before and no fcs till now
I don't have any intentions to advertise, but recently I published a DPI Changer app to Play Store which by default sets DPI using local.prop method(works fine on COS12 and OxygenOS on OnePlus One) and also has an option to set it via build.prop method. I positively believe it would work for OnePlus Two too, if not I would love some feedback.

Easiest way is adding the line ro.sf.lcd_density=380 in the build.prop

The way I did it was going in and adding the ro.sf.lcd_density=380 to the build.prop myself as for some reason it wasn't there. Then I connected the OPT to the computer and used the ADB Command Prompt (adb shell wm density 380) to change the DPI as well.
I had to do this because if I used an app to change the DPI the keyboards would screw up and be incredibly large and unusable.
Can someone please post some screenshots? Thank you in advance

Damn that's weird, thanks for the feedback! I'll look into it ASAP.
I updated the app to specifically work on OnePlus 2, can anyone try and tell if it's working? Thanks.

Le DPI working fine in Oneplus 2 (oxygen 2.0.1) using BUILD. PROP.
thanks
my experience with the app " The DPI "
First I tried with the second function of the app (BUILD. PROP) and restarting the phone had a bootloop.
Fortunately I had a Nbackup
According to the first attempt I tried the first method off the app , rebooted and nothing changed then I tried again the BUILD. PROP and it worked!
perhaps the first method have created something away for work the second method

Roboto font isn't applying on everything, Any solution?

Hello xda family, One plus roboto font isn't applying in every app like facebook, messenger etc and some notifications as well. Any way to apply that font in every app? I know we can root and install custom font installer like ifont to get that font everywhere but is there any solution without root? I just love the theme ?
Thanks in advance ?
I believe some apps have their apps hard coded so it's impossible to change it.

Custom fonts

Is there a way to install and use custom fonts on this this device?

I use magisk Rosemary font it was from my pixel 4xl.
I got it from that forum.
All I did was install with magisk and then it replaced one of the 2 fonts we get to choose from.
I haven't tested any of the other fonts I used with the pixel 4xl but they probably work as well.
I think lawn chair launcher beta allows for font changes as well.
