Can anyone else confirm that the font installer either as an app on its own or within rom toolbox is not actually changing the font in the new 4.3....

I used to use ROM Toolbox, but it has become worse and worse imo. Changing fonts doesn`t work at all for me. Try iFont from Google Play to change fonts, works well for me.

Any tool , reference how to change system fonts on MIUI?
Brgds,
S.
I had problems changing the fonts trough the theme manager, the new fonts didn't get applied.
I downloaded Font Changer from the Market and replaced the default Arial and Droid sans fonts with new fonts. Rebooted and that did the trick.
I don't know the reason but I think it may have been caused because the system used the droid sans fonts and theme manager only changed the default Arial fonts to the new ones. Anybody else had issues with changing fonts?

I also tried with font changer but cannot find any extra fonts ...
Where did you obtain new fonts ... i cannot find any
There's many places on the net you can find typefaces for font changer. They need to be .ttf format files. The font changer has information and help inside the app itself, look there...

Oh man.. Just use google, whatever works. Don't want to supply any direct links if there's any copyright issues and some. The MIUI.us forum has a whole thread on fonts and probably other MIUI forums too.
go to settings-personal-themes-edit theme-font-online font
and just download some new fonts there via MIUIs own online font selection

I tried this but seems that default fonts remains after applying new chosen fonts! Any ideas? I also tried to reboot after applying theme font but nothing happens.

I have a same problem with MIUIs font changer. The font seems to be stuck on default. And reboot, hot or cold, doesn't help.

Try the font changer application from market and replace the default arial AND droid sans fonts with the instructions provided in the application.. You can pull the font files from .mtz files by opening them on the computer with any package archiver.

I tried font changer but cannot put back default fonts after using it
I noticed too that resetting defaults didn't work. Here's a solution that worked for me.
Look with the file explorer in the sd card folder called 'fontchanger' and copy the backed up default fonts into the custom fonts selection and change with the application itself.

Have anyone figured a way to change the front WITHOUT additional apps, just using MIUIs built-it font changer? Since, well, we do have it already integrated to the ROM so no additional apps SHOULD be needed..

Hello there
I recently seemed to have messed up my fonts somehow. Basically, whenever i change a font on my device, everything changes OK except for the clock on the status bar. The clock seems to have stuck to one font and will not change to the font you select. It used to work fine and i believe it happened to me before but somehow i managed to fix it.
My phone is rooted and i used an app called iFonts to install new fonts.
I don't know which font needs resetting (clockopia.ttf perhaps?) but i might benefit from a complete dump of the original fonts folder.
Does anybody have a clue on how to fix this issue?
Many thanks in advance
Same problem here....
I have centered clock with Xblast. The font is the "Default" of the Font changer in Settings, regardless of the choosen general font.
And the new fonts politics of Samsung stinks. I've open a thread here....But this is another topic.
Resolved!

This issue has been resolved.
I uninstalled the xposed module "Wannam xposed" which seemed to have somehow interfere with the fonts. I since updated my note 3 through Kies and a new version of Wannam Xposed came out so i tried installing it again and it seems to work ok now.
hope this helps someone.

I've solved the issue by inconscient-indirect methods. I've had to reflash the Rom cause of boot loop with a mod, and then, suddenly the problem was solved....:victory:. But I'm not too sure how it made it....
I´m root in my Oneplus Two, and downloaded texdroider_dpi and Root DPI Changer.
Neither works!!
I tried too change build.prop, but ro.sf.lcd_density or another density value don´t appears.
Any solution for change DPI in OP2?
Thanks!
Hey,
i use a flashable zip. Download it from here: http://www5.zippyshare.com/v/RvfbVEkr/file.html
to edit the DPI, open the .zip and go to folder tmp and edit the "misc" file with a text editor.
after this you can flash it trough recovery
Greetings

What DPI did you set it to, and have you experienced any issues with your custom DPI so far?

I´m newbie and I can´t post pictures yet, sorry.
But I seen a few mistakes in some apps, but I don´t know if problem of Oxygen OS or DPI.
Some apps like Solid Explorer or PocketCast get default Dark Theme.
That is, even if they are placed in Light theme in settings app , stay in dark theme and I can´t change this no way. This is case of Pocket Cast.
In Solid Explorer case, it stay in light theme, but text are in white and can´t read nothing. I must put the app in dark theme to use it .
It is all very strange .

I see no prob with 380 all apps work as before and no fcs till now
I don't have any intentions to advertise, but recently I published a DPI Changer app to Play Store which by default sets DPI using local.prop method(works fine on COS12 and OxygenOS on OnePlus One) and also has an option to set it via build.prop method. I positively believe it would work for OnePlus Two too, if not I would love some feedback.

Easiest way is adding the line ro.sf.lcd_density=380 in the build.prop

The way I did it was going in and adding the ro.sf.lcd_density=380 to the build.prop myself as for some reason it wasn't there. Then I connected the OPT to the computer and used the ADB Command Prompt (adb shell wm density 380) to change the DPI as well.
I had to do this because if I used an app to change the DPI the keyboards would screw up and be incredibly large and unusable.
Can someone please post some screenshots? Thank you in advance

I updated the app to specifically work on OnePlus 2, can anyone try and tell if it's working? Thanks.

Le DPI working fine in Oneplus 2 (oxygen 2.0.1) using BUILD. PROP.
thanks
my experience with the app " The DPI "
First I tried with the second function of the app (BUILD. PROP) and restarting the phone had a bootloop.
Fortunately I had a Nbackup
According to the first attempt I tried the first method off the app , rebooted and nothing changed then I tried again the BUILD. PROP and it worked!
perhaps the first method have created something away for work the second method

Hi guys!
I am in Stock Rom 5.8.021s with Root/ULB/TWRP and want to change the font. Are there any pack/ flash zip to do this or just take any app from Gplay that can do this? I am coming from MIUI (Redmi 3s) and thats apps does not work fine on MIUI (just one works fine) and sometime lead to bootloop, so EUI and MIUI look like same, I fear to get bootloop. So, any app work fine for changing Font?
Thank! Q:highfive:
I used Ifont on the Google Play store to change the font. It didn't change just the launcher.. everything on the phone almost changed to the font I chose.

Thank Bro! Work Nice!!!!
Thanks!
Use app "FontFix" from Playstore by JRummy. You will need root the app work very well if I want to change font I use it on all my phones.
What's the most readable font nowadays for old eyes? I maxed omnirom up to "largest" but some pages seem not to be using it.
Is there a flashable zips that we can use to change our fonts beside the two preloaded fonts?
The only way that I can see is to root the phone and then use apps from Google Play or maybe Magisk modules
Yah I checked so much on it since I was google Product sans like I did on Samsung phone.. but looks like none found way without root. On Samsung phone we just install a custom apk file to have it.
Actually im rooted already on 9.0.5 but kinda hesitant to flash some modules. Haha

I hear ya lol. Go to the Play store, there are plenty of apps
Open sans from magisk works fine.
One of the worst things when I change phones!
I used the pixel 2 fonts for OnePlus 6 magisk module. It replaces roboto font.
Product Sans and no errors.

Fontio app lets you create flashable zips. It's labeled [Substratum] in Play Store but you don't need Subs to use it.
