[Q] huawei ideos x5 PRO ROMS

im buying the pro version today, and i want to know the compatibility of roms with this device. (diferent snapdragon cpu version)
did any1 try to flash the new device with the custom roms from the original development section?
I just wish to have miui on it

u8800pro also have BCM4329 wifi solution instead of qualcomm libra one

I have one. I tryed to flash it with official rom and I bricked it. It was my fault. Now I can't recover it. Any suggestions? In every mode it vibrates and nothing happens. Purple screen doesn't work, recovery mode doesn't work, flashing mode doesn't work.

i had bricked mine also. i live in russia but im not russian hardly i could find a tech service coz i cant speak russian. they are going to run jtag on my phone they were asking for rom or something like that. finally i have found a u8800 pro rom on xda. tomorrow i'll se what will happen. and i can share all my experince with it
edit: the guy who was going to run jtag on my phone in moscow now and he'll be back only on 11th of december.. unfortunatelly i'll wait or i'll try to contact with an official service center in other cities. the problem is i can not find any official service center even in other cities

I can access to the pink screen, but i don't have the image folder... can somebody help me?? i have a big problem if i cant fix it.. it reboots every 80 seconds with the unfinished root image file.. if someone can give me the original one for 2.3.5 pleeeeaaaseee send i to [email protected] i really need it, im having a hard time trying to fix it.. help..!

You need different ROMs compared to u8800, as some people discovered (rather painfully). So far, there are 4 ROM options. Stock ROM options include the stock 2.2, the stock 2.3 (no problems as with the 2.3 for the u8800), however they both suck performance wise.
Then there's a MIUI port which I couldn't even get to install on my device and finally comes cyanogenmod which is the best option so far and the one I'd recommend (you will see a tremendous difference in the performance of the UI).

I have a problem with my LG L5, I know it's not the best smartphone, but it's bring me a strangle display problem. I have installed some many roms (Paranoid, CM, AOKP, etc.) and all these based in AOSP, My screen is presenting some "grainy" bugs, in all the roms, the problem doesn't shows in the recovery, or in the bootanimation, only in the system, what are you thinking is wrong?

These screenshots are directly from my device, I checked the screen in the phone of my friend with the default kdz ROM and his screen looks clean.

I dont know much about touchwiz UIs and i just get my sgs5. (G900F)
Could someone help me choosing a rom?
I have 2 reason why I want to use other rom instead of stock.
1. I have 'when the screen brightness on low , my screen is vibrating as hell' problem and i want to check out is it software problem
2.I just checked Galaxy A5 2016 Rom and it is kinda nice in my opinion.
(I dont want to use stock android UI after having much phones with that roms (cm1x.x and etc.)
In addition, im just happy having fingerprint scanner and it would be wonderful if it would work. I saw that some ppl use Hi Locker's fingerprint lock, is it possible having a rom without fingerprint function meanwhile using fprintscanner with Hi Locker?
Could someone send me a link to download and install a rom?

Resurrection remix_ Lenovo k3 note_screen replacement_wake up issue

I have been using latest resurrection remix 5.8.5 on my
Lenovo k3 note . I have dropped my phone which damaged my lcd screen. I went for screen replacement.
After screen replacement when I power on my phone it starts out with no problem and everything is fine . When I lock my screen and wake up my device the screen does not wake up and shows black screen but touch works. when I power on again after removing battery everything is fine till I lock my screen and same problem visits again.i tried to install lineage , miui 9 it shows the same problem.
Then I flashed the stock rom from Lenovo now everything is fine and screen locks and wakes up normally.
The problem exist only for custom ROM.
Please help me to solve this issue as I am very much interested in Having custom ROM in my mobile

I have the same issue. My screen works perfect on stock rom but when i flashed my phone with custom roms screen doesn't wake up.When somebody calls me , screen is black (actually i can't see who calls me) but touchscreen works because when I slide on the screen bottom-to-right the dialogue starts. Can somebody helps us ? Thanks in advance.

Screencast|Miracast broken in pie ROMs

Hello there
I have an issue with screencast in pie based custom ROM, may be broken?. When I try to connect to my MI tv, phone's screen goes to black and few seconds later it comes to lockscreen(seems like system ui restart). I've tested a few different ROM(Aex, RR, havoc, pixy, msm, superior os) and the bug is present in all, it was perfectly working in Oreo based ROM. Is this common bug? Does anyone know the fix? Please help me??.
