hello
i am thinking about buying a samsung Galaxy S7 Edge but i am unsure whether to buy the (G9350) model or (G935FD) model
as what i have searched the (G9350) has Quad-Core processor of two processors 2.15Ghz Dual-Core Kryo and 1.6Ghz Dual-Core Kryo
and the (G935FD) has Octa-Core processor of two processors 2.3Ghz Quad-Core Exynos M1 Mongoose1.6Ghz Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A53
i think the processor in the (G935FD) model is better, is this true??
thanks in advance

Hi,
Look HERE, or HERE
there are a lot of variations of the devices but the big thing that sets them apart is one has two quad core processors making it an octa-core processor (exynos 5 octa) and the other has only a single quad core (qualcomm snapdragon 600)
Hi,
I noticed that there were 3 models of Galaxy Note 3.
The N9000 looks to not have the Qualcom 2.3 GHz. According to gsmarena it has this : Quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 (N9000)
1. Does it have both CPU at sametime in the same cell phone or it could be wheter one of them?
2. Are performance lower than the Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 (N9005, N9002)
3. How can I make sure I buy the good one?
4. Why selling same cell phone but with different cpu?
Thanks

Hello,
I have seen that this question has been asked in the forum a lot of times but still I didn't seen unequivocal answer.
Here we can see that N900 is better than N9005 at AnTuTu Benchmark and some other benchmarks.
on the other hand Here we can see that N9005 is better than in the most benchmarks.
So My questions are:
1. N9005- SD800 is 1Xphysical quad core(4 Cores) that runs at 2.3GHZ ?
2. N900- Exynos 5420 is 2X physical quad core(8 Cores) that runs 1.8GHz + 1.3GHz (If yes why we cannot see the ARM Cortex-A7 1.3 in CPU-Z soc section)?
3. N9005 have less free RAM than N900 by default?
4. So Which version is more powerful (Lets leave the 4k and LTE features)?
5. I have read that should be a fix to Exynos 5420, can someone can expand about this info and how It should influence on the N9005 versions?
No one can help?
Hi guys,
I am going to buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 soon. However the variant which is available to me is the N900 with the Exynos 5420 processor.
The thing is that, I am a bit confused about the GP. It is running a Mali-T628 MP instead of the Adreno 330 on the N9005 models. Will I notice a visible difference in gaming? Is the Mali that bad against the latest Adreno.
Also, do you think that the HMP patch that Samsung hinted at, to unleash the true 8 cores might affect the GPU performance later on?
The processor is the only thing that is stopping me from getting this variant. Please guys, help me out on this.

Adreno 330 is so good but
Mali in note3 is Octa GPU and clocked higher than adreno 330 (u can find and compare by wikipedia)
both of them are so powerful however adreno shows more score in graphic benchmark but it s not that high but cpu in exynos is about 2000scores more than snapdragon (in antutu benchmark)
anyway u won't lose anything if buy snap or exynos both of them are awesome
:good:
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Hi, the Galaxy A5 2016 sports an Snap 615 and our S4 i9505 sports an Snap 600, I want to know if it can be ported a rom, or from S5, because an 6.0.1 TW rom from S5 is running in S4 I9506 that it has an Snap 800, and S5 sports an 801.
Thankss for your attention.
Have a nice day.
I think the 615 chip is a hexacore processor, at the very least you'd need a new kernel. I'm not a dev though so I've no idea if it looks like something worthwhile trying relative to the effort required.

Yet. Not all A5 2016 variants bring Snapdragon 615 SoCs. A5 2016 variant that available in my country is SM-A510FD, where it brings Exynos 7580 instead of Snapdragon 615. It makes everything difficult.

It's an octa-core processor.

It also is from Snap 600 series (600, 615)...

I would just refer to @3mel's post...
That you'll need a modified kernel in order to work. Just like Motion ROM that ported from Galaxy S5 Mini to Galaxy Grand 2 and S3 Neo.
If it's ported from same processor family (like Snapdragon 801 to Snapdragon 800 phone or Exynos 5420 -G900H- to Exynos 5410 -i9500- phone like OzcanROM for i9500) there is no need to port the kernel too.
