Looks like the download is failing (from a PC not a mobile device). If I can get my hands on the file, I'd be happy to mirror it on Dev-Host

Why do you want the update? Once you update Towelroot, Safestrap, etc most likely won't work anymore.
Mine will not update says installation has been interrupted any ideas
Like all of the updates so far, you likely will not be able to update if you have rooted or made any adjustments to the system folder/files. If you really want this update the best bet is to flash stock NC2 and then go from there. Personally I am going to hold off until root is achieved.

Just installed it, nothing changed much actually visualy except notification bar. The most annoying think is when u use a card view for recent apps, there is no clear all apps option, or i didnt see it maybe

For model "a5ul" Thailand user, you must use "Sunshine 3" to back to "S-Off" "UNLOCKED" "FULL UNROOT" "Stock Recovery".
I'm not developer for this device. I think it's can't root and install any custom recovery now (same as bug in specific recovery for AOSP Base, CM12 ROM)
You shouldn't flash boot.img cus to BRICK device.
Still waiting for Developer...

Do you get an option to do a factory reset as part of the update, or do you have to do it manually? If manually, it makes more sense to do it after the update than before, right?

Manually, and do it after, yes.
I just did the rootjunky method of flashing back to 100% stock and then took the OTA

Supposedly it's available for manual download as well
Recommendation for everyone, when you update to lollipop do a factory reset and everything will work even better, and obviously don't take the ota if you are rooted because you'll brick

note edge 5.1 is real i flashed it
flashed the root package with recovery from previous and seemed to work for me
tried to flash emo kernal all bad need boot and aboot images from new N915PVPU4COFE build

I happened to install a module called Daydream enabler (Magisk) on my J510F phone with Wycked OS v3. And soon after reboot, I got Android 9 system update notification. Should I proceed with installing it or cancel it?
Will it affect my device in any way like crashing or other possible issues?
