locked bootloader and no recovery - Huawei P9 Lite Questions & Answers

i have a VNS-L21C185B360,
i unlocked the bootloader then flashed twrp then rooted my phone and it worked for a while,
i wanted to do a factory reset and after i did a factory reset i lost the root so i downloaded `UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip` and flashed it with TWRP then i get bootloop i went to TWRP and did wiped my phone, and still get bootloop,
so i downloaded `HUAWEI P9 Lite Firmware (VNS-L21, Android6.0, EMUI4.1.1, C185B150).zip` and tried the dload method but i get `software package incompatible`,
so i tried the b370 update `huawei-p9-lite-vns-l21-nougat-b370-update-emui5-dual-simeurope-stable` but still the same message,
i thought if i flashed the stock recovery from the b370 update i can do a factory reset and it might work,
so i want to fastboot but i get frp locked, i tried unlocking the phone again but i get `command not allowed` so i flashed it through twrp and now i cannot access the recovery,
so my current status is:
i have a locked bootloader which i can't unlock because i didn't enable the oem unlock in developer options,
i have no recovery,
i have a locked bootloader and a locked frp
i have eRecovery
i can flash stock roms through 3 buttons mode but every thing i tried so far give me incompatible software
is there is any way to fix my phone ?

i just tried flashing b160 i get it from here update*hicloud*com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1164/g104/v66034/f1/full/update.zip
still won't flash

Updated and lost root, recovery, and relocked

Hello
I had my phone on the VNS-L31C113B132 firmware, unlocked, rooted.
Then I got a message about a new update (VNS-L31C113B141), so naturally, I downloaded the update.app and tried to flash it through twrp with no success, so I used the up+down+power method, it worked, and all was well, except i lost root, lost twrp, and the bootloader seemed to be locked again. No data or apps were deleted though. Then I updated to B150 same method.
any idea why root and recovery are gone? and how can I check if my bootloader indeed is relocked?
That is a completely regular behavior. You can check by booting to bootloader (holding up and power button when the phone is turned off), it will show you a white screen with the Android robot and info on bootloader and FRP status. To get everything back, just unlock the BL again, flash TWRP again and root again, no harm will be done, and your root software (e.g. Xposed) will start working again (although for xposed, you'll have only the client, the framework has to be flashed via TWRP once again).

unlocking again may result in factory reset.... or is there another method that keeps everything?

Unfrtunately yes, the phone will be reset. All you can do is to back it up and then restore it. Next time you update firmware, update it with "update.zip" from TWRP, this way, only recovery and root will be removed, but not the BL unlock.
look around, it is a workaround for skip factory reset in unlock/relock procedure.

P9 Lite FRP Lock - How to unlock

All,
I had flashed Elite ROM v4 and it was successful except messing up on MagiskSu where one application still detected the phone is rooted. To solve the problem, decided to flash it again without realizing OEM lock is off - forgotten to activate before start flash. Now, after wipe everything using TWRP,reboot to continue the flashing procedure, the phone is unable to boot into TWRP recovery and only able to boot to stock recovery and fastboot. Unfortunately the FRP is lock and I could not not flash TWRP again. Any advice?

STUCK at Your device is booting now... help!

Unlock bootloader again and mane a factory reset.
Flash TWRP for your version (MarshMallow or Nougat).

Honor 8 Lite PRA-AL00 heavy brick, need help

I had EliteTWRP 3.2.1-0 and restored the official rom from twrp recovery but it was stuck when trying to first-time configure the phone(it wouldn't get past the wifi setup). So I went into twrp to try and format everything and try to flash a different ROM and I faced another problem. Internal storage couldn't be mounted. I wanted to fix that by flashing the twrp 3.1.1 because that worked for me before. I got in the fastboot mode but it said that the phone is locked. That was strange to me so I tried unlocking the bootloader with "fastboot oem unlock [my unlock code]". The prompt came on screen asking me if i wanted to unlock boot loader and factory reset and I said yes. Then my phone restarted and is stuck on "Your device has been unlocked and cant be trusted. ...mod=restore page... Your device is booting now...". From that point it's stuck on that screen and I can't get into the recovery or fastboot mode. I tried the dload method(holding volume up volume down and power button) but that did nothing.
Please help.

stuck on bootloop?

Hey, I unlocked the bootloader of my 9t, stock MIUI ROM. I then attempted to install TWRP and now i'm constantly stuck in a bootloop. I cannot turn the phone off as it reboots shortly after and I cannot access recovery. I can use ADB/fastboot but that is it. what should I do?
same thing happened to me, i unlocked bootloader and attemped to install twrp then when it reboot and boom..stuck at that android robot..what i did after? send to the repair shop
If you have unlocked bootloader, just flash fastboot rom with mi flash tool. Phone put in fastboot mode.
So after bootloader unlock flashing new rom is a must? I'm on 10.3.7 EU rom and I like it. I just want TWRP and root that's all.
