Hi guys
I just received Axon 7 2017G with stock Nougat 7.1.1
It is difficult to use stock when you are used to Adaway
So what would be the best way to root while staying on stock?
Is it possible to stay on stock recovery and locked bootloader?
Thanks!

1. It's recommended you keep the current bootloader on at all times, so I'd advise against that; you can flash any version modem you want.
2. Nope.
Hi everyone, I have question that I hope you can answer.
Today I flashed a Custom Recovery and Rooted my Note 3 SM N900. Everything is working fine, I rooted my phone in order to delete apps like trip advisor, s health among other apps. But I've seen that there are 6.0 ROMs for my phone. I've seen many tutorials and I would like to flash a custom ROM. (I'm thinking on flashing Resurrection Remix 5.1.1 for my SM N900). I already made my efs folder backup.
So, my question is this. When I decide to go back to a stock ROM (Lollipop Samsung Touchwiz the one I currently have) do I need to do something extra? Like, I would be able to flash a sotck samsung ROM through TWPR recovery for example? or what I need to do is just flash through odin?
Could you please tell me what I need to know on this cases?
Thank you very much! :good:
just flash with odin and you r good to go

And What about the bootloader? Do I Need to unlock it if I want to install any custom ROM? I installed TWRP recovery on my phone, then I Rooted the phone. The steps that I've seen on the Internet to flash a Custom ROM doesn't have a step that unlocks bootloader or so.
Or the bootloader is unlocked since I rooted the phone? I'm confused. I really appreciated if you or someone could explain this doubt.
Thanks in advance. :good:
N900 is already factory bootloader unlocked
Sent from my SM-N920C
Using a bootloader unlock app could brick the phone. The only note 3 I know of with a locked bootloader is the AT&T Sm-900a.
Hi there folks,
Did anyone on stock b27 non-root, locked bootloader try if the unlock procedure provided by @DrakenFX still works? Also if relock is still working? I mean did the bootloader unlock procedure already got changed as announced from ZTE?
For now I want to stay stock, but don't want to loose possibility to unlock after the update to B27...
Thx!
Or is it at least possible to downgrade to B20 from B27 using tenfar's tool and then unlock bootloader?
Just for the record: it is still possible to unlock on fully stock B27 using this threads method:

I did it - it works
Hi, first of all, sorry if I mistype anything, as English is not my main language.
I usually try to find my answers in others posts, as I have installed custom ROMs and recoveries on other phones before (Nexus 4, Moto X 2014), but this time I couldn't find anything for my situation.
I recently imported an Axon 7 from Singapore, everything on the box is in Chinese, but when I booted the phone, the version showing on the settings is the A2017G, build number A2017GV1.0.0B10.
I tried to update from the settings to Android Nougat, but it says it is up to date.
Out of curiosity I restarted the phone holding power + vol up and booted the recovery, and it is all in Chinese.
I think the seller probably installed the A2017G Rom.
So now I don't know which guides should I follow to update my phone, I just want to have stock nougat and TWRP for precaution.
Should I just follow this one https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/guide-install-twrp-unlock-bl-flash-t3517379.
Or this https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/guide-how-to-unlock-bootloader-stay-t3461165.
Or just download an imagem from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/download-center-factory-images-ota-t3606547.
I'm currently at work, so I won't be able to try anything right now, but any direction to what to do will be of great help.
And I didn't put my sim card there yet to see if the network works in my country, I'm from Brazil.
the first one.
do steps a then b.
dont do the c steps.
then reflash stock recovery, update to nougat, with stock rom, then reboot the phone in edl and reflash twrp 3.1 with axon-tool.
you will have stock with twrp
thanks for the reply.
I will try as soon as I can.

Yes sr.
You must unlock in b11 or older.
Then upgrade to b04, you must reflash stock recovery from edl or twrp. After that upgrade.
Then go back to edl and reflash twrp.
Note that for first unlock you have to flash the signed buggy twrp, and after unlock, you must flash 3.1 to have a working twrp.

Hello everyone.
I will give my wife my grade 7.
My redmi note 7 is rooted with magisk and twrp installed.
I would like to leave him a clean phone, without custom ROMs etc ... and with a recovery stock.
I would like to flash him a Global ROM from MIUI.
For that :
1 / Do I use Miflash to install a global firmware?
2 / Is it better to check the box relock bootloader? I read that this could lead to some hard brick xiaomi ?
thank's for your answer
Miflash? Why not.
Looked? Why
Unlocked. Maybe u can fix it!
Stock? Why?
Batterylfe?
Adaption?
Hello
Quick question about using a Firwmare MIUI stock version and OTA updates.
Can OTA updates be done automatically if the bootloader is unblocked (no root / stock recovery) ?
Thank you in advance.
