Need some perfection to dual boot windows mobile and android - Windows Mobile

hello, for a week I try to make a dual boot winodws 10 mobile and android, the method I used is like this:
1) I downloaded the rom (android x86 for pc) and i changed the kernel to adopt it for lumia 950.
2) I downloaded the official ROM (windows 10 mobile) I extracted the BCD file and I edit it with easybcd so that it loads autoneogrub0.mbr (which is supposed to start android).
3) replace the BCD file found in windows / boot / efi / bcd with the new file.
4) Copy the rom android.iso and NST / AutoNeoGrubmbr in c:
but after restarting my android rom installation does not start, so I said why not share this work and that other developper helps me perfect this method.

While you don't have an unlocked boot loader you surely can't do this .
I don't have time to play with it but maybe W10 ARM Iso for RS4 is a better choice to try .
Because it supports Secure boot so I think it should work without an unlocked boot loader

1. Fresh install, preferably dual boot Windows 7
2. Before installing Windows 8, create a new partition for data, and an extra partition for Windows 8, so you can dual boot and access data from both os.
3. You won't need mobo drivers, at least I didn't.
4. Boot method
5. Download the Windows 7 USB tool from the Microsoft site, use that to create a bootable USB.

Missing Microsoft.Smartdevice.Connectivity.dll for Windows Phone Power Tools

Hello all,
I made a fresh install on my PC with Windows7 x86, because I bought a new and bigger SSD.
On my old Installation I had all the Tools for my HD2 installed, without any Problems. Okay, it's a long time ago I made the Installation, but it worked.
On the new System, I always receive a message when I try to install Windows Phone Power Tools that the Microsoft.Smartdevice.Connectivity.dll V11.0.0.0 is missing. I searched Google and find out that the dll will be installed by Windows Phone Developer Tools. But it's allready installed!! Also Windows Phone SDK 7.1 is installed.
I cant find any V11 on Google and no other hint how to install the DLL on my new System.
Any ideas from someone??
Thanks and Greets,
Masterslice
Okay, it seems that no one can help me out with this problem..
I made another thing, my old system is on the old SSD. I put back this SSD in my PC and booted the system.
As I found in Google, the location must be C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\CoreCon\1.0\Bin\, but there was no dll..
I searched for the mentioned dll and found it here:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Phone Tools\CoreCon\10.0\Bin\Microsoft.Smartdevice.Connectivity.dll in Version 10.1.40219.209
And the Windows Phone Power Tools were installed here:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\07VV00KK.TYR\L17KJWPJ.ZXY\wind..tion_89698295f69f556b_0001.0000_18b3ec4d3a81c136
Why a part of the folders has such kind of strange names, i dont know..
Next step was, I backup the folders from my old system and copied them to my new system.
Now I can start the WindowsPhonePowerTools.exe and connect with my HD2! It works!
But I cant understand why I can't install all from the beginning..
Better to make a Backup also from this programm!
Seems to be solved.

Yes, thats the reason why I installed all the old versions, like the WPDT and WPSDK 7.1 with Update and Visual Studio and so on... I tried a lot, now way for me to fix this error! Only the posted solution worked for me!
I am happy now and I will install in a few days my old SSD into my Laptop with a fresh install from Win7 x64!

If I install it on my PC, do I access google play store like normal?
successfully installed on Z3735F Bay Trail-T windows 10 tablet. I don't need windows 10 OS anymore, so made one partition and install Android 7. It books OK, WIFI works fine. BUT!!!!! All the physical buttons don't work. Power button doesn't work, so there is no way to turn off the system. Volume Up and Down button also doesn''t work. But touch screen works fine. How to solve this problem? any idea? My tablet is Unbranded Tablet 10.1 from Best Buy
hey,
i got it up & running on my uefi windows 10 lenovo yoga (after some struggle i also have dual-boot). my question - how do i get gapps and supersu? it's not like you could simply flash some zips, as there is no recovery
No Playstore!! Browser does not download files!!!
So after wasting 400mb of data and roughly 30 minutes of my time, I discover that there is no preinstalled PlayStore, the preinstalled browser will not download APKs and trying to install apps from the online MarketPlace only discovers devises that the email used to Sign In with is associated to, not the device this is installed on.
These things SHOULD by all ethical means be stated in the description to prevent others from wasting both their time as well as their data.
I want to see a solution to these problems Shanmukarajan. Should you decide to neglect this issue, I won't hesitate to have this post reported to the moderators.
Thank you in advance for your prompt support on the matter.

there is just one issue.
you can not create a data.img file that is larger than 4GB on a fat32 partition...
how do we fix that?
It’s installs fine but when restarts windows is just starting every time and it’s not coming up with step 12 asking me about windows partition and creating boot item
I performed the installation process about 10 times with different settings but none of them seem to install Android on my HDD. The live version works and there are no errors whatsoever, but even after installation there is never an option to boot the installed Android. Only live, debug or again option to install the OS. Does anyone know the solution?

Have you tried selecting yes to GRUB 2 during installation? It's been a little while since I went through the process, but I believe that was what I had to do to get it up and running.

Yeah I have the same issue with my Sony VAIO Duo 11. To start from power off I have to hit the special Duo Assist button, then F11 to boot from usb, then go thru the (re) install every time, so boot takes a couple of minutes, but it always bring me back to the same great working Android with all apps and setting unchanged. I don't understand, but I just happened onto it. Be sure to not format or install any grub (not really sure about grub or grub2), but yes to make it writeable. Then you get an awesomely fast Android.
I don't even want Windows on that machine, but I'm afraid to kill all the partitions and start from scratch as the Duo has some weird builtin Windows boot stuff hard wired. I'm not sure if Android could boot without the Windows partitions.
When I am creating a new partition with 16 GB of space does it mean that Android is going to use just this partition and 16 GB or is it just for the installation files and Android will see my whole HDD as the internal storage?
Could you please let me know how you got it up and running? I am on a UEFI yoga as well, but after the installation,
grub doesn't show up and my computer boots automatically into Windows
Thanks in advance

Did you change the boot sequence in bios? Select android to boot 1st, then Grub should ask you which os you want to launch. I installed grub 2. I also went with the triple boot. My laptop is an Asus x401a with windows 7. Along with ubuntu and android. x86 Nougat.
A little help here mates,
I installed it alongside a windows 7 ultimate.
Gave it an 80gb Partition (fat32)
So I'm planning a dual boot here.
Here's my Steps:
used rufus to create bootable from android-x86-8.1-r1.iso
booted to Flash drive
installed android to 80gb partition (with grub/windows boot entry/ and data image of 2048MB)
after installation, Reboot to test boot options
grub didn't show up, booted directly to win7
Did some researches, and from those researches I should disable SECURE BOOT, but bios don't have that option.
Also tried EasyUEFI Tool which didn't even work in windows 7
Also, no settings for UEFI or Legacy.
Boot Order doesn't show Windows bootmanager or grub too, only HDD....
I installed android in ASUS Eee Notebook Laptop 1201b
I think the only problem here is grub cant load, but I run out of solutions, so here I am asking for help.
every android on work fine in my tablet(z3735f) but there is a bug in every os no sound in headphone any one tell me how to fix it

Need some perfection to dual boot windows mobile and android

hello, for a week I try to make a dual boot winodws 10 mobile and android, the method I used is like this:
1) I downloaded the rom (android x86 for pc) and i changed the kernel to adopt it for lumia 950.
2) I downloaded the official ROM (windows 10 mobile) I extracted the BCD file and I edit it with easybcd so that it loads autoneogrub0.mbr (which is supposed to start android).
3) replace the BCD file found in windows / boot / efi / bcd with the new file.
4) Copy the rom android.iso and NST / AutoNeoGrubmbr in c:
but after restarting phone installation does not start, so I said why not share this work and that other developper helps me perfect this method.

I highly doubt this is gonna work. Don't use Android-x86. It doesn't work well on x86 hardware, leave alone an ARM smartphone. Better try porting LK Bootloader, just the way it got ported to the Lumia 520 and the 720 and now we have the Android booting and even WiFi and Sound working.

How to install Phoenix OS 2.5.9 64 bit?
I want to install Phoenix OS 2.5.9 on an 5 year old Laptop (Acer Aspire 5733z) currently running Window 10 32bit.
My laptop has 64 bit processor Intel pentium p6200 and 2 GB ram.
My laptop can support and run phoenix os 64 bit version. But I have to install it from ISO file because 64 bit version has a x64 installer which my window don't support.
For safety of my files, i installed Phoenix os 64 bit from iso with window 10 in oracle virtual box. It installed and worked perfectually.(testing in oracle virtual box happened on another computer)
But now there is no option to boot window 10 in GRUB bootloader only Phoenix os.
Can someone help me please?
Thanks in advance!

No . Day to Day mobile OS are getting heavier too . Processors with 32 bit architecture can't handle that much load.
So , i think 32 bit version of phoenix os will now stick at old 1.5.0 lolipop version.
