[ROM][Desire HD/Inspire 4g] Xperia Kitkat

Hello to all DHD/I4G users,
I've been constantly looking for developer who can make changes to Aroma Installer from chinese to english one but so far non of them has replied me back.
So if anyone has a desire to make changes on this build...Please go on. I've found this ROM from chinese desire hd website so all credit goes to the that chinese dev(SARONI).
Feel free to make changes and re-upload to Desire HD Android Development section.
Pros:More than 1000s of download has been made since it made(4/4/14)
Cons:Chinese Aroma Installer
I hope some of chinese dev. or who knows how to make changes in order to make it english aroma installer. It looks like easy task for them,but not for me!

MIUI ROM has no menu button,It's like iOS style icon arrangement on MIUI. whereas Sony Xperia Series has it's own style of launcher.

I'm making another ROM, by myself, ported from Xperia ARC, actually, it boots, wifi works, but i get Force Closes on Phone application, i need and some time until i release.

Can you describe me how you managed to pass through aroma installer? there are so many tweaks there so which one you picked and finalize to installion?
I desperately waiting... to try this one by just passing aroma installer.

Yes, it will be KitKat, i created myself, ported from Xperia ARC, as i said, i'm having FC's, but soon it will be ready, it will not be in chinese language, but in English...

Chinese developer made this rom so personally i have no idea which kernel used by them. But if whoever pass through Aroma Installer which is actually in chinese language,they only can able to answer this question
As long as i know i've seen many custom made chinese roms for desire hd in all they uses their own custom made kernel.,so probably their made. I've no idea. until someone guides me to pass through aroma installer then only i can possibly answer your question.

I totally understood about your efforts but after replacing with original ones;there were no visible fonts.Only blanks black screen where suppose to be some word.

You might want to take the link down, then. You can't post ROMs without kernel sources On XDA. Kernels are licensed under the GPL, requiring source to be distributed when the compiled code is distributed.

Hey thanks for yhe help but I have root, though I don't want to install xposed cause I just want to change dpi of one app. Your solution is to change the whole phones dpi.

Oh sorry, I didn't get what you were asking. I don't know of there's an app like this that doesn't require Xposed, I somehow doubt it but I'll let you know if I stumble upon anything.

Rooted.. How to custom fonts?

Hey all... not sure if this has been asked or talked about.. tried searching i might of just been overlooking it tho. Is there a way since we now have rooted phones to add custom fonts of our own choosing?

Download LG smartworld apk from the LG website. They have more themes and fonts.

Substratum boot animations

Hi, I've got a problem I never had until today with substratum. I can apply everything like overlays, themes, fonts etc but boot animations won't work. They say they applied but when I reboot it isn't. Please help if you know why this is happening. It didn't happen yesterday and all permissions are granted and it happens with every theme I have tried. Thanks

There were two updates lately. Did you try reverting to an older substratum version and try again?

Oh okay thanks I get you. The rom I use has substratum intergrated into it so no need to do that. Thanks anyway bro

Download & install this module in Magisk, reboot, done. Lens feature will appear in Google photos app.

This is for OnePlus Device not Mi A1. Also I am on stable Oreo official.

You can try to replace files in system directly, though no idea why would you want to do that. If you can't find flashable zip, unpack Magisk module and replace system files with those in module + modify build.prop accordingly. Don't forget to set correct files permissions (use info from original files or from Magisk module). Same applies to Google camera with AR stickers. Keep stock system.img at hand in case you screw something up.
