When I updated my YB to Android 7.1.1 (oficial update) my Halo Keyboard lose the US - International configuration. I can't type special portuguese caracters like ç or à.
However, I can type characters like à or ã.
Anyone with this problem?
I'm in Portugal, and for me the keyboard works fine with the Portuguese accent characters. Just check your keyboard configuration.
Tenho a versão portuguesa do Yoga Book, e para mim, fui testar, o teclado funciona correctamente. Verifica as configurações do teclado.
My version is US. I try all possible configurations.

Eu tenho um trinity e instalei a rom dopod do WM6.
A razão pela qual não instalei uma rom cozinhada foi porque não encontrei nenhuma em que os utilizadores não se queixassem de alguns bugs...
Gostaria de saber se posso instalar o cab da linguagem PT nesta Rom, como faze-lo, e já agora, qual a Rom que os utilizadores portugueses usam e preferem...
Já agora, como é que eu instalo o teclado em português? O que tenho instalado neste momento está em inglês e não o consigo alterar... por isso penso que tenho mesmo que instalar qq coisa...
I have a trinity and installed the official WM6 dopod Rom.
The reason i didn't install a cooked rom was i found none with wich the users wouldn't complain about some bugs...
I would like to know if i can install the PT language pack in this Rom, How can i do it, and what is the Rom Poruguese users prefer...
By the way, how can i install the portuguese layout keyboard? The one that came with the Rom is in English and i can't change it... so i believe i have to isntall a diferent keyboard...

I update my HTC Touch Cruise with official rom
RUU_Polaris_HTC_PTG_3.13.410.0_radio_sign_25.85.30.07_1.59.42.15_Ship.exeonto WM6.1 PTG
and after I try to install HTC Home Plugin V2 from this topic.
However, my HTC begin a non stop looping. Maybe any incompability. I had to make a Hard Reset to stop.
Anybody can tell me how to solve this problem or give me a link to any solution?

e então tentei instalar o HTC Home Plugin V2 deste fórum.
Contudo, o meu HTC iniciou um loopin sem cessar. Talvez por alguma incompatibilidade. E tive que fazer um Hard Reset para parar.
Alguém pode dizer-me como resolver este problema ou indicar-me um atalho para encontrar alguma solução?

Comprei o Touch Pro 2 mas o teclado físico não dá para escreves os caracteres com accentos (à,á,ã...etc)
Há alguma forma de dar a volta a isto? algum dos cabs no post resolvem o meu problema?

É bom ver que colegas do Brasil estão presentes no fórum! A última versão de todos os firmwares para todas as operadoras do Brasil (e a versão genérica) é a 2.0.A.0.504, ou seja, a primeira versão do firmware para X10 com Android 2.1. A Sony Ericsson sempre atribui o atraso na distribuição de atualizações às operadoras "parceiras", porém, até o firmware sem marcas está desatualizado.
Por uma questão de uniformidade, seria interessante que você publicasse posts em inglês ou com versão em inglês, afinal, outros colegas de outros países podem nos ajudar, certo?

The latest firmware version for all carriers in Brazil (and generic firmware too) is 2.0.A.0.504, the first X10 firmware with Android 2.1. Sony Ericsson always says that the delays on update rolling out are the partner carriers, but even Generic firmware is delayed over here.
To keep uniformity in our forum, it would be interesting if you post in English or with a version of the post in English, because, eventually, somebody from other country may help us, right?

Qual o aplicativo que você precisa? Talvez seja mais fácil encontrar o tal aplicativo e fazê-lo rodar na FW global do que ficar na expectativa das operadoras brasileiras atualizarem patches.
Which app do you need? Maybe would be easier to find this app and make it run on the global FW, than to wait in expectation to the brazilian carriers to update patches.
Hi, thanks. I'm using X10a World Generic version, but I need the Dialler Prefix software, otherwise I need to insert the dialler prefix code to any contact register.
It's a nice software because you can to change the network operator without pre edition to dial.

You can install the operator prefix app using root explorer.
Just put it on data/app folder and use the same permissions of others apps.

Anybody have the 1232-4526 firmware for flash tool? Can't find it any where and can't get SEUS to repair my phone back to it.
Eu uso a firmware do Wolfbreak, android 2.3.3, e roda direitinho no meu x10a. Quanto aos prefixos, eu habilitei no chip para ele colocar e funciona perfeitamente. O único problema é que eu não sei acessar o menu do chip com este firmware (acho que falta o software).
Minha operadora é a Vivo.

True, it seems it's manufacturer specific, according to Microsoft: "I want to stress that you might not see all these display languages listed as options on your phone. The exact display options depend on your handset manufacturer and mobile operator."
É pá compraste o telemóvel desbloqueado na Media Markt não foi? Que cena, parece que não temos a língua portuguesa disponível neste modelo em especifico. >_<

Comprei na fnac, mas em nenhuma lingua PT existe em mango, só nos novos de fabrica.

I've fixed it but it takes a while, here are the steps if anyone has the same problem:
0. This worked for me and it's provided as is, if it doesn't work, bricks your phone, sets your house on fire or get you kidnapped by aliens it's none of my business.
1. Restore back to NoDo, you can't fix this in Mango.
2. Access the MFG app, you do that by dialing ##634# and then use the password 277634#*# to enter the app, check out the details here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=841892
3. Go to the engineer menu -> other options -> registry editor
4. As explained here -> http://wmpoweruser.com/how-to-install-windows-phone-mango-with-new-additional-languages/ you have to add an entry to the registry, but instead of 0411 for japanese you add the key 0816 for portuguese of Portugal. If you wanna do it for other languages check this table at MSDN -> http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms776294.aspx
5. After adding the entry to the registry, simply update to Mango again and you'll have portuguese on your sweet phone.
Note: While Mango does support a lot of languages, obviously it isn't as many as it's listed on that MSDN table, that table is for _DESKTOP_ Windows, it just happens that Windows Phone shares the same language constants as Desktop Windows and some of them are available on Mango. Don't be a douche and try to install some crazy ass african dialect on your phone. >_>
