Stock ROM instalation problem - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Okay, that's my problem.
I want to install Stock Rom. Install via ODIN. I've chosen the right device ROM for S7 edge, for my region Bulgaria ... but!
I tried several times and always after the installation I have new, additional menus and applications. Sometimes the menus are duplicated in settings and other times I get operator functions in England, Poland or Germany.
In Odin I load the files AP, BL, Home_CSC and CP. I do not change Odin's settings. Only selected by default.
Where am I wrong?
Do I need to delete / format NAND?
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s7-edge/SM-G935F/BGL/ - I use that ROM
Thank you, I'd be happy with any help

Don't use home csc, use the simple csc file ; it will wipe your files, be sure to wipe cache and factory reset from recovery after flashing and NEVER ever try to delete nand. Good luck

[Q] [HELP] Wifi dont turn on, can't call after debrand

Hi, i have problem after debranding my galaxy.
Wifi is not turning on, and i can't call, when i try, there is a black screen.
I have branded PL in "Plus", and i tried with xeo roms from april (I9505XXUAMDE) and may (I9505XXUAME2) and modems for them.
When i tried first time to change rom, i had error in odin (can't write or something like that). So i rooted my device using cf-auto-root, changed csc from btu to xeo, then I9505_OFFICIAL_STATUS_MOD, wipe and triangle away, then rom.
How i can fix that?

If I be you - i try to go to Advanced phills touch recovery menu, format there everything (system, data, partitions EVERYTHING) except sd card. Then i would like to try to flash Android OS (4.3) with repartition (pit file if I remember it correctly). After that, the good idea is install root, than phills touch again (I don't remember, but something overrides another one and recovery menu dissapears or...whatever, need to try) and test again if you have this issue.
Giving this information you gave, it's even for SUPER DUPER PRO EXTRA HIGH-RANKING with IQ over 9000 developer is actually impossible. Anyway, I'e just told you the best way how to fix it.
I found somewhere similar problem, and i tried to install 4.3 rom, and everything works fine

[Q] SM-N910H CSC Change without Root

Hi, I have SM-910H with ACR CSC. I have tried flashing multiple Stock Roms but CSC does not changes. I have factory reset multiple times. Also I have tried below mentioned method multiple times but no avail. If anyone has been successfully change CSC on 910H without root, kindly help me out.
1. Run and configure Odin. Do NOT check “Re-Partition” and “Auto Reboot” check boxes.
2. Load the stock firmware in the PDA button.
3. Set the phone in download mode (Volume Down+Home+Power button). Then connect the phone in your computer.
4. Hit the “Start” button and then wait.
5. Once the flashing successfully completed. Do NOT let it reboot into the normal mode.
6. Reboot into recovery mode (Volume Up+Home+Power button).
7. See if it’s applying the CSC file then wait until it finishes and reboot.
8. If you do not see the CSC installation, instead choose the “Wipe data/Factory reset”. Then repeat flashing the stock firmware. You may then achieved the CSC code flashing the stock firmware on the second attempt.
10. Confirm the CSC code by using Kies 3 or by downloading Phone INFO ★Samsung★ and see if the CSC code has changed.

Find & flash single country csc instead of multi csc, once it's changed to single country csc, flash again as per your requirements.

Thanks for the advice. I can try that. Can you point out any 910H firmware that is single CSC. Also can you tell how to check from downloaded firmware that it is whether single CSC or multi CSC.
I used to flash Singapore rom when I was facing problem like u r facing but i don't know about your model, there was a thread in note 3 forum mentioning this.
Note 3 thread for csc
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2666907
i don't mean to hijack the thread but i am on the same boat with n910f (not rooted).
I have a warranty appointment (battery drain) and wish to flash back to stock. I purchased my phone sim free from Switzerland and i am in the UK. however i tried lollipop German rom (and sadly did not record my csc, i am a noob) and have now downgraded to UK rom to test battery drain issue for a day or two. I now wish to revert back to stock. my phone id csc related fields are as below.
original csc code: BTU
firmware csc: AUT
active csc code: BTU / AUT
csc country iso: CH
which rom should i flash to and back. Also considering the german lollipop rom data has completely gone from the csc which i flashed to the UK rom afterwards will it be safe to flash to it without auto reboot and then flash back to AUT swiss rom. i'd rather not have to set up my device again . and any comments on Warranty things / recommendations i need to take care of before my appointment
thnx
*********my solution ---------
I reset to factory default , installed lollipop rom, reset to factory default, booted lollipop, reset to factory default again, flashed swiss image , reset to factory default and everything was back to stock

Flashing stock FW

Hello,
I just got my seccond S7 Edge, but it's Vodafone italy branded. I have a few apps form Vodafone that cannot be unninstalled. So i'm trying to flash the stock italian FW.
The problem is that I have the AP, BL, CP, CSC_ITV and HOME_CSC_ITV files
I'm using Odin 3.11.1, but I dont know which CSC file to flash, I have already set-up the startup pin, so now please let me know which version of the CSC must I flash .
The CSC_ITV or the HOME_CSC_ITV
Please let me know.
THANKS
anyone????
I would always prefer To use the CSC_ITV it will factory reset your Phone and you will lose your Data and Start with a Fresh System and have no compatibility or Force Closed Problems unlike the HOME_CSC_ITV where you probably get Force Closed Problems but dont lose your Data and stays intact.
CSC_ITV = Factory Reset, NO FC Problems
HOME_CSC_ITV = No Factory Reset, Data stays Intact, Maybe FC Problems
Thank you for you answer, I did flashed the csc_itv...

There is already a dedicated thread for flashing stock FW which should answer all your questions. You don't have to start your own thread for that. Just keep looking! LJ

How to change Region to get update first?

I have a an italian no brand s8 ITV, i want to change in XEU ( uk and ireland) to get update fast more than my country
I flashed all 4 files in odin and then hard reset but nothing changed.. from AQF7 ITV to AQF7 XEU ( try with this to see if i get new update come out in this days) but nothing remain in Phone info and in setting ITV/ITV/ITV nothing change
Is possible without root make this or i wrong something? Thank guys
Did you wipe data / cache after flashing the firmware? I'm assuming that you may have done as you mention a hard reset.

yes i do a factory reset wipe cache in recovery.. but nothing to do nothing change
Flash self with odin you first guy
Ok ITV is part of the same csc as XEU so all you need to do is flash the 4 files but when flashing use the home csc file not the other one and then see what happens.
i try see what happens, i remove sim card too

Nothing with home csc nothing change.. always ITV ITV ITV
Flash, boot set wifi ecc then reboot in recovery ( first say no command all time i tried but 3sec appear recovery) wipe everything, but nothing change
Strange one that. But just thinking because ITV and XEU are part of the csc family you should get OTA pretty much the same time. I just recently updated mine to latest update by connecting my phone to my laptop and then smart switch.
You have to use a UK Sim card and make a reset with it

Changing to non-default CSC within MULTI-CSC FIRMWARE

Hi guys,
so I own a non rooted Galaxy S7 edge (exynos) and I am trying to change it's CSC.
Prehistory:
I live in Bulgaria and bought it (back in 2016) from one of the carriers here - Telenor, so naturally it had a Telenor branded firmware (CSC GBL I think). I immediately downloaded the unbranded firmware for Bulgaria (CSC BGL) from Sammobile and flashed it. Phone started in Polish, but didn't have any extra apps or uncotabilities, so I left ti this way.
The problem:
With the new versions of Android the Polish CSC, which the MULTI-CSC for Bulgaria defaults to started having some apps (like samsung pay) that just crash when opened and started having some menus in the settings (like T mobile roaming) which just crash the settings app when clicked. I tried downloading several ROMs (The first Andorid 8.0 and several older Android 7.0) in an attempt to make the phone switch to BGL SCS, but unfortunately whatever I do it just defaults on the Polish one. I tried wiping the cache and factory reset after flash, tried having a Bulgarian SIM card inserted both during flash, cache wipe & reset, and startup, but I cannot change the CSC to BGL.
Notes:
1. Flashing Android 8.0 caused the bootloader to be updated to U2, so I cant flash firmwares with bootloader of U1, unless I flash them without the their bootloader, but this doesn't work everytime (I think)
2. I haven't rooted my phone yet and prefer not to. If I absolutely must I ask for a guide on how to do it without triggering Knox & with option to unroot it after in such a way that it is like it has never been rooted.
3. The Dialer codes for IMEI and CSC change no longer work. I only managed to make the IMEI one ( *#06#) work using a firmware from 07.2017 (flashed without its bootloader), but the one for changing CSC (*#272*<IMEI>#) doesn't work on it.
I'm stuck guys I don't know what else to do. I only want the phone to have a BGL CSC and to receive OTA updates. No root, no nothing.
Thank you for your time.
P.S. I searched the forums all day, but couldn't find a solution

Morning,
I hope you have found a solution to this already. If not.. You need to download a combination file which is the same version as the main firmware you have. eg. XXU2 firmware requires a XXU2 combination file.
Flash the combination file. When the device is rebooted in to factory binary perform a factory reset. now flash the "home csc" file from your main firmware pack. when the handset is powered on again open up the factory imei shortcut/app, this has a keypad type *#243203855# this will bring up the csc codes for your multi-region firmware. select the one you require and the handset will reboot. now just flash your main firmware and it will be the CSC you need.
