Safestrap not showing splash screen - Verizon Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am on PB1 (rooted, CID 11, Locked Bootloader), and have Safestrap installed via the apk, the 'reboot to recovery' button works, but when I reboot normally there is no way to enter ss, no splash screen. (I tried spamming the menu button, that didn't work either)

[Q] Strange behavior on LG-G2 D80010o when reboot from TWRP Recovery

I have an LG-G2 D80010o with stock rom and rooted with loki 1.9
I successfully installed TWRP 2.6.3.3 using FreeGee and is working ok.
It reboots to OS perfectly. And enters into TWRP Recovery Menu when pressing the keys combination.
The thing is, when I'm in Recovery Menu and press Reboot/System button, it will reboots ok, showing LG logo and then ATT logo, but after that it will enter in a Password Screen that I do not recognize because don't have my device protected with a password.
If I press the power button it shows me a simple menu over the screen with the options for "power-off" and "reboot", so, if I press "reboot" or "power-of" (and then turn it on again) it will boot perfectly into my stock OS.
I'm asking this because I think if I press Reboot/System on TWRP Menu it will have to reboot into stock OS but in fact it is booting into "another OS" asking me for a password.
Can some one tell me if it is a normal behavior or do I have a problem?

Happened to me once when I rebooted from TWRP after flashing the EFS backup zip. I was using the modified TWRP though.
You are right, SmiLey497 !
I did it again and this time it worked.
May be it was just the first time after TWRP installation, as you say.
So thanks for your comment.

Repair "Primary Kernel Image" ?

Hi there, I have a little problem with the tablet of a friend.
Long story short: It always only boots into recovery. Nothing else. Used several different roms, it boots into recovery. Trying to restart into system from the recovery (i have a system installed), it restarts into recovery. Starting the bootloader, it shows me different options to choose from. One of them is "boot secondary kernel image" which I tried to choose, but I couldn't hit any keys as the navigation would not work. Basically, I can only hold the power-button while in this menu, in order to turn the device off. I am using TWRP v2.1.3 and Skrilax_CZ's Bootloader V8.
Do I need to reflash a bootloader or something? How to do this from recovery? I guess I can also go into APX mode.
EDIT: After using another recovery, I used a "Keytest" which was not included in the TWRP. It does NOT recognize the VOL-UP key (If you hold it so the volume keys are on the top right) but other keys. COULD it be that this is somehow pinched or something so it is basically always pressed, thus always booting in recovery? That would be so dumb, but I think it sounds reasonably?
Thanks

Have flashed TWRP image using ODIN but it still boots into regular bootloader

I followed the forum instructions to flash TWRP onto my N910F Note 4 according to instructions: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55277852&postcount=3
All works fine. But when I reboot into the bootloader I still get the original bootloaded with the "Downloading Do not turn off target" notice.
On that tutorial it does say at the end that if the recovery hasn't changed then to uncheck the auto-reboot option. Did that, but same again.
What could I do?
Download mode is nothing to do with recovery.
You flashed a custom recovery, therefore you'll need to boot into recovery, not bootloader (download mode in Samsung phones). Power off your phone, then hold power, home and vol up to access the recovery you just flashed.
Sometimes the phone indeed overwrites the newly flashed custom recovery with the stock one, in such cases it usually helps to disable auto reboot in Odin (as you did), holding power+home+both volume buttons to force a reboot, then booting back to download mode and flashing the recovery one more time. Happy flashing!

Can't Access Recovery Mode after Flashing Nougat > Oreo [SOLVED|

EDIT: SOLVED https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75635627&postcount=6241
Hi guys.
I have followed step 10 from this guide after my phone was running Android 7.0 (Rooted/SuperSU) with TWRP installed.
When I follow the instructions to flash Android Oreo to my Nexus 6P the phone is stuck in the boot animation. When I enter 'Recovery Mode' the screen keeps flashing from 'No Command' to black (like blinking). Holding the power button down and the volume key up does nothing.
The bootloader is unlocked and I can still access the bootloader menu. Can anyone help?
Will selecting the "Factory' option do anything in the bootloader?

Question regarding Stock recovery:

How to install stock recovery on moto g4 plus if there is no recovery currently installed on the device?
Hmm, there should be a recovery on the device. If you boot to the bootloader, then boot to recovery, what screen do you see? If it's a screen with 'no command' written on it, then press and hold the power button, then press the volume up key - that should let you access the stock recovery.
If you don't have that screen or a TWRP screen, you can re-flash the stock ROM via fastboot. Depending on your device, you can flash the NPJS25.93-14-18 stock ROM: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/stock-rom-npjs25-93-14-4-march-1-t3608138
