Hi all, so i successfully bricked my phone, I was then able to unbrick it but my imei info got deleted in the process. Does anyone have the bootloader or the nvram (mt6737m) files so I can fix this?
Im back to this rom version: D281L_WW_20170316 MRA58k.WW 13.1.0.91 but now I cant do anything on it.
Or even better have a tutorial I can follow?
Thanks

Hello there..!!
Can any1 plz help me recover my deleted files from the internal memory of Moto G. I accidently deleted a folder named emulator from the device and in result i lost all my data. Can any one plz tell me how to recover those files WITHOUT ROOTING my phone. I have tried many software but say to root my device first, but i dont want to do this cz it will void my handset warranty..?? Its urgent PLZ HELP...!!!!!
I think you have to root in order to do that.
Seems like you have deleted /storage/emulated, right?
I don't know any method that can save your data without rooting, next time be more careful about deleting things you don't know about.
Sorry for your loss bro. I hope someone comes up with an idea to save your data, but I don't think it's gonna happen without rooting.
edit: You can try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2774016 to root without unlocking the bootloader (no warranty void) if you have 4.4.2
Yesterday, I unlocked my bootloader but did not back up the files, is there any way possible that I could recover those? I found a guide to recover files but could not understand as it was for another device;
Here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...de-internal-memory-data-recovery-yes-t1994705
Help would be appreciated :crying::crying::crying:
It should work the fine for our device too... Go ahead with that procedure.
The biggest problem that Moto G5 users are facing is the problem of IMEI and/or bootloader loss after returning back to the stock firmware.
Why was my device hardbricked?
This is the step by step how to Break your device: (do not do this)
Install an custom rom
Return back to stock firmware
Flash stock bootloader and recovery
Update the software in stock rom
And then the magic happens. Your device dies.
Oh my god, what do I do for this doesn't happen with me?
Simple: Don't return back to stock firmware using fastboot when your bootloader is unlocked. If you want an stock rom, flash this debloated rom using TWRP (32 bits)
My device is hard bricked. What do I do now?
Feel. Reflects. Cry.
Our community of developers are studying the cedric and looking for solutions to fix the Hardbrick, but this for now is a nightmare and there is no solution. Sorry my dude.
OK, and the IMEI?
If your device does not die in the middle of the bad path, you are likely to lose the IMEI of the device and not be able to make calls or use 4G.
How to avoid this?
Backup your IMEI. How? idk.
And the how to avoid this is the same for how to avoid hardbricks.
I lost my IMEI. And now?
Check this link.
HI, this question has probably been asked many times. But still, I want to root my Redmi 3s (MIUI 10.2.1.0) and all the guides I found are pretty old, they're at least 2 years old and I am not sure if they are still working.
I have already unlocked my bootloader. My touch screen is not working fully so I want to avoid as much trouble as possible. Can anyone guide me or give me link to a sure way of rooting without bootloop problems. I know I ask a lot but I really need it to recover my old files. Thank you.
EDIT : Managed to root it.

If you have one you can try---
I think we both haven't installed adb properly
Try installing adb properly because I think there is a problem in adb
Have a check on installation info present on pixel experience site. This may help you
