Yesterday, I unlocked my bootloader but did not back up the files, is there any way possible that I could recover those? I found a guide to recover files but could not understand as it was for another device;

Help would be appreciated :crying::crying::crying:
It should work the fine for our device too... Go ahead with that procedure.

Hello!
Not a long ago I've bought Motorola Xoom WiFi.
Right now I want to root it and install Clockwordmod Recovery. I've found some articles about it only few things I don't understand.
Do I need to unlock it first or I can do it later? If I need to unlock it first, how can I backup data? Because it says if I'll unlock it it will wipe all data. How can I back it up and do recovery then.
Please, can somebody give me some advice about it? Also, I want to root it too and I've found the article about it too. But I don't understand, what I need to do first, then, etc?
Please, can you give me advice, how to do it step-by-step?
Please?
Thank you!
This thread tells you how to Unlock and Root the US WiFi/3g Xoom.
Unlock first, then you can Root it. As far as I know, you have to do one before the other, you have to Unlock before you can Root and modify things. As far as backing data up, what do you need backed up? I don't think you'll be able to back things up. For things like Contacts/Email and such, I use my Gmail, and everything else I just set back up.
Back up any documents on the SD card and Internal Memory to your PC BEFORE doing anything, that way you can easily put things back as needed. It's never bad to have a copy to fall back to just in case something goes wrong.

This its why the first thing you should do when you buy a xoom is unlock it. You have to unlock to root, and doing so wipes it clean. You can't really backup, except what the above poster said. You can unlock and not root, but you can not root without unlock.

I accidentally deleted a bunch of photos and a video from my Samsung Galaxy Express SGH-I437. I have been trying to recover the deleted files with no luck so far. I have been able to root the phone with motochopper and have put the phone in debugging mode. I just can’t seem to get into it though.
Can anybody give me step by step directions on how I might be able to get my files restored, or tell me if it even possible?
Any help is appreciated.

Yes, it is possible, but I would need to ask if you were rooted when you deleted them?

The samsung recovery tutorial is easy to follow and works well, so try it and hope that you can recover all your lost photos videos,
Hello there..!!
Can any1 plz help me recover my deleted files from the internal memory of Moto G. I accidently deleted a folder named emulator from the device and in result i lost all my data. Can any one plz tell me how to recover those files WITHOUT ROOTING my phone. I have tried many software but say to root my device first, but i dont want to do this cz it will void my handset warranty..?? Its urgent PLZ HELP...!!!!!
I think you have to root in order to do that.
Seems like you have deleted /storage/emulated, right?
I don't know any method that can save your data without rooting, next time be more careful about deleting things you don't know about.
Sorry for your loss bro. I hope someone comes up with an idea to save your data, but I don't think it's gonna happen without rooting.
edit: You can try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2774016 to root without unlocking the bootloader (no warranty void) if you have 4.4.2
Hi all, so i successfully bricked my phone, I was then able to unbrick it but my imei info got deleted in the process. Does anyone have the bootloader or the nvram (mt6737m) files so I can fix this?
Im back to this rom version: D281L_WW_20170316 MRA58k.WW 13.1.0.91 but now I cant do anything on it.
Or even better have a tutorial I can follow?
Thanks
Hi, I have searched but couldn't find a solution, so here's my question.
I had unlocked the bootloader before and worked fine.
Wanted to go back to stock and lock the bootloader again but made a mistake I guess.
I locked the bootloader and now it gives me the 'corrupt' message. Is there anyway I can get it running again?
Unable to re-install the stock atm because flash-all.bat doesn't see a device.
Who is able to help me please?

Thanks for the reply. Can you help me to a correct link?
I managed to get it into fastboot and then I got it to unlock bootloader again.
Then I tried the Maronofrio install tool. That gave me a lot of "failed" messages on the prompt.
Now the phone keeps restarting with the OnePlus logo, but that's it.
Managed! Resolved.
Thanks again Lycidias
